Discover the Czech market
Czech sellers are cautious when it comes to sharing their data. They frequently make purchases without creating accounts. That is why allegro.cz offers shopping without registration.
Czech buyers like to pay for their orders on delivery — with cash and card, even at parcel lockers. Our data shows that over 88% of buyers in Czechia pay that way.
Before you start selling — a legal guide
1. Check whether it is allowed to sell your products in Czechia.
Keep in mind that you are obliged to follow Appendix No. 1 to our Terms & Conditions. It provides information about forbidden and restricted goods, as well as goods allowed on certain conditions in each of our marketplaces. You should be particularly careful with some product categories. Make sure to check the requirements before you start selling to a new country — especially if you sell animal or plant products, electronics, dietary supplements, or pyrotechnic materials.
Check Appendix No. 1 to the Allegro Terms & Conditions.
2. Remember about intellectual property rights.
Make sure you hold all the intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, patents, and copyrights, necessary to introduce your products in Czechia. If you do not hold exclusive rights to them, get permission from the other owners.
Learn more about intellectual property rights.
3. Translate product labels and manuals.
The information you provide in the product description, manual, or on the label is often necessary to use the product properly. Czech buyers should be able to read that information in their native language.
Before you ship the order to the buyer from allegro.cz, check whether all products come with a label and manual (if necessary for a given product) in Czech. You can provide your customers with additional information in digital form, for example, in the offer or the post-purchase email.
See how to prepare products for sale in Czechia.
4. Adjust the terms of warranty and returns.
Customers should be able to clearly understand what kind of support they have access to after making a purchase in your offer. That is why you should provide the terms of warranty and returns in Czech on allegro.cz. You can use automatic translation or provide your own.
Please adjust the warranty and return terms for each marketplace you sell in to ensure compliance with local regulations. We complete the complaints terms automatically.
5. Make sure you comply with the local regulations.
Depending on what you sell and the type of business you run, you may be subject to additional legal regulations on the Czech market. Those may be the local interpretations of the EU regulations or domestic regulations that only apply in Czechia.
Make sure you have entered the required registers. Pay particular attention to the rules regarding waste and packaging — such as the EPR. Once you register, add the registry numbers to your Allegro account in the Sales Center.
What is the EPR?
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a concept that manufacturers, importers, and distributors are responsible for the environmental impact of the products they introduce throughout the product life cycle. The goal is to reduce waste and increase the recycling rate.
When do you need to enter the local EPR register?
You need to enter the Czech EPR register if you introduce the following on the Czech market:
- packaging — if, in a given calendar year, you place on the Czech market packages that weigh more than 300 kg in total and your total annual turnover is more than 25 million CZK
- products from the Electronics category
- batteries or products containing batteries.
Where and how can you obtain the EPR number for Czechia?
The Czech EPR register is called: Informační systém odpadového hospodářství – VISOH2. You can visit its official website at: https://visoh2.mzp.cz.
That website contains detailed information on how to register. However, you do not need to do it on your own — you can use the help of an authorized representative, which means you can authorize a professional company to represent you in the registration process. You can find such companies, for example, on our list of partners.
When do you have to provide us with the EPR number for Czechia?
We need your number in the Czech register only if you sell batteries or products containing batteries in Czechia. This requirement stems from the EU's battery regulation.
To add the EPR numbers to your Allegro account:
- Open the Account details tab.
- Go to the EPR numbers (Extended Producer Responsibility) section and click [check details].
- Click the pencil icon in the Czechia section and enter the number you were assigned in the local Czech register. If you have an authorized representative in Czechia, add their number too. Learn more.
- Click the checkmark icon [✓] to save.
How to settle VAT for sales in other marketplaces
If you are a VAT payer who runs a business in Poland but sells to consumers in other EU countries — in many cases, you can take advantage of the simplified VAT tax settlement. Depending on the value of your sales abroad, you can use:
- settlements below the so-called EU threshold — meaning under the same rules you settle sales to consumers in Poland
- the simplified VAT OSS method.
To settle below the EU threshold, check whether your net sales of goods, telecommunication, broadcasting, or electronic services to EU countries have not exceeded the threshold of 10,000 EUR (42,000 PLN) in the current or previous year.
If you have not exceeded that threshold, you do not have to change your current way of settling VAT and documenting transactions. You may need to mark such transactions properly in the JPK_VAT files you submit to your tax office.
What if you have exceeded the EU threshold
Even if you have exceeded the specified sales value, you can still use another simplified method — the so-called VAT OSS. Thanks to this solution, you can, in most cases, settle the VAT in Poland on the sale of goods you send to consumers in European Union countries.
You cannot take advantage of the VAT OSS settlement:
- if you use warehouses or fulfillment services in other countries
- if you settle your sales in the VAT margin scheme procedure ― this applies to sales of goods like works of art, collectibles, antiques, and used goods
- for sales made between entrepreneurs (B2B).
Learn more about the simplified VAT settlement.
How to issue sales documents
If you use settlements below the so-called EU threshold or the VAT OSS settlement — issuing invoices and other sales documents is also simplified. However, you need to bear in mind that the transaction currency on allegro.cz is the Czech koruna. The VAT rates for particular products may also differ from those in Poland. See what those simplifications are all about.
If you sell products to consumers in Czechia and do not use the VAT OSS, you need to issue invoices according to the rules that apply in Czechia.
For businesses registered outside the EU
If your business is registered outside the EU, your settlements with consumers (B2C) may be subject to the rules of the so-called VAT e-commerce package. See what it means for you.
Prepare your offers for sharing on allegro.cz
The basic rule of our foreign marketplaces is: list once — sell everywhere! You do not need to list new offers or register another account to start selling on allegro.cz. You can use the offers available in the My Assortment tab and which you have already listed on allegro.pl.
How to prepare your offer for sharing on allegro.cz? Go through the list below. If you want to, we can take care of most aspects for you.
1. Your offer needs to meet the conditions for sharing in foreign marketplaces.
Not all offers you have listed on allegro.pl can be shared in foreign marketplaces. However, you do not need to check every offer before sharing — we do it automatically before displaying an offer on allegro.cz. We will let you know if any of your offers are rejected.
What requirements the offers we share on allegro.cz must meet
In the Allegro foreign marketplaces, you can only share offers that:
- are listed on an account with:
- a Neutral or higher sales quality level — if you sell from the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the UK, or Ukraine, or if you sell on allegro.cz from the Asia-Pacific Region and use the One Fulfillment service
- a Good or higher sales quality level — if you sell from other regions
- do not contain products that cannot be sold in Czechia
- are listed in a category also available in that foreign marketplace
- come in the buy now format
- are linked to the Allegro Product Catalog
- come with the Condition parameter value New — unless that parameter is not obligatory in a given offer
- are not charity offers
- are not marked with the b2b badge
- we have verified and published on allegro.pl.
2. The offers must include a delivery option to Czechia.
Adding delivery to Czechia in your offer is an important step — by doing so, you let us know that the offer is ready for allegro.cz. If you add delivery to Czechia before taking other steps from this list, we can automatically complete the price and translations. However, we do not add delivery options to another country to your offers — this is something you need to do yourself.
You can add delivery options to Czechia to selected shipping price lists in the Sales Center. You can later link such shipping price lists to offers that you want to share. See how to do that — go to our article or keep reading.
3. You need to provide the offer price in CZK.
On allegro.cz, you settle — with buyers and with us — in the local currency. That is why your offers should include prices converted into CZK. If you do not do this yourself before sharing your offer, we will add a price in CZK automatically. We will simply enable the default Price converter pricing rule in the offer. That way, your price in PLN will be converted into CZK at the up-to-date exchange rate.
If you do not want to use the default pricing rule, you can easily change it in the My Assortment tab. You can resign from using automatic pricing whatsoever — and enter prices manually. You can also modify the Price converter pricing rule and use it as a base for creating your own pricing rule.
4. The offer should come with a Czech translation.
Each of the Allegro foreign marketplaces is available only in the language of a given country. However, you do not need to speak Czech to sell on allegro.cz! You can manage your offers in the language you usually use on Allegro, and we can help you with the translations you need.
Once you link an offer to a shipping price list that contains delivery options to Czechia — we will automatically translate its title, description, and parameters into Czech. You can always edit our translations or provide your own. We will also help you translate the returns and complaints terms and information about the warranty.
Learn more about sharing offers.
How to manage offers in multiple marketplaces
The My Assortment tab allows you to efficiently manage your offers in multiple marketplaces — individually or in bulk. You can easily change prices in foreign currencies or edit translations. Filters allow you to view offers in each marketplace. You can also view their sharing status and other parameters. Go to the Market section of the My Assortment tab — it is dedicated to managing international sales.
You can exclude selected offers in the My Assortment tab if you do not want to share them in a foreign marketplace. Go to the Markets section and uncheck the field with a foreign price next to the offer you want to exclude from a given marketplace.
Managing prices in different currencies
On allegro.cz, buyers will pay for orders and delivery in the currency of that marketplace: CZK.
How we display prices in CZK
In accordance with the market standard, we display prices on allegro.cz in full korunas — without halers, which are the equivalent of the Polish grosze. That is why the price is always a whole number. When converting from another currency to CZK, we round the result to the nearest whole number.
In the Sales Center, we use the international CZK currency code next to prices. Buyers on allegro.cz can also see the Kč abbreviation — it is used in Czechia similarly to the zł abbreviation used in Poland for the Polish zloty.
How to conveniently manage prices in different currencies
You can edit the prices in PLN and other currencies in each offer submitted for sharing in a foreign marketplace. You can make such changes manually and simply enter the desired amounts. You can also automate the price management on Allegro.
In the Automatic Prices tab, you can set the pricing rules we will use to update prices in the offers you select. You can choose from several default rules — if you sell abroad, the Price converter-type rules will come in handy.
The Price converter updates the price in the foreign marketplace based on the offer price in Polish zloty and exchange rate information from the European Central Bank. This allows you to react to exchange rate fluctuations in accordance with your pricing strategy. You can create your own pricing rule based on the default Price converter — to further differentiate prices across various marketplaces by a specific amount or percentage.

Delivery to Czechia with Allegro
If you add delivery to Czechia to your offer, we instantly submit it for sharing on allegro.cz. If the offer meets the conditions for sharing, the first Czech customers will be able to buy it in several minutes.
Czech customers trust local carriers — that is why we started a cooperation with them. You can take advantage of the attractive prices of carriers that your customers know and like. You can conveniently dispatch parcels through Ship with Allegro.
How to add delivery to Czechia in your offers
All you need to do is:
- edit the shipping price list the offer is linked to
- create a new shipping price list and link it to an offer.
When creating a shipping price list, you can now use ready-to-use templates for each assortment type. If you create a so-called pre-made shipping price list, we suggest most of the data and set the maximum delivery rates for each delivery option. We also automatically update rates and delivery options if the carriers change them. That way, such a shipping price list will always be up to date and keep the Smart! Badge.
See how to create such a shipping price list step by step
- Go to the Delivery Settings tab.
- Click [add a new shipping price list] in the Shipping price lists section.
- Select the country of dispatch. You can also choose Email delivery.
- Select the marketplaces you want to sell in — including allegro.cz. The marketplace in which you registered your account is always checked by default, and you cannot change that.
- Select the template of the new shipping price list based on the products you sell. You can choose between:
- small assortment
- medium assortment
- large assortment.
If none of the templates meet your needs, you can create a non-standard shipping price list, which you will need to update yourself.
- Choose a name for the shipping price list. You can also adjust selected delivery methods and options.
- Go to the summary. If everything is correct, click [save].
If your shipping price list for allegro.cz is ready, link it to the offers you want to list in that marketplace. See how to do that.
- Go to the My Assortment tab and select the offers in which you want to replace the shipping price list.
- Go to the options bar. Click [sales policy] and then [shipping price list].
- Select the shipping price list that you want to link to those offers and click [save].
When you do that, we will automatically submit all offers linked to that shipping price list for sharing on allegro.cz. Learn more.
Allegro International — one method, three delivery options!
Allegro International Czechia is a delivery option from Poland to Czechia that allows you to enable three delivery options simultaneously: courier delivery, delivery to a pick-up point, and parcel locker. As part of that method, InPost collects parcels from sellers in Poland, and One Courier delivers them to customers in Czechia — in the way they select. Learn more about this method.

Orders placed on allegro.cz — how to handle them?
You can handle orders placed by buyers on allegro.cz just like the ones from allegro.pl or any other marketplace. The main difference is the currency — on allegro.cz, you settle in CZK.
You can find orders from all marketplaces in the Orders tab. When the first customer from a foreign marketplace makes a purchase, we will display an additional filter: sales market. Information about the marketplace is also available in order details. See what else you can find in the Orders tab.
How you can contact your Czech customer
On Allegro, you can easily contact your new customers even if you cannot speak their language. You can count on us! All you need to do is click [translate] in the conversation with the buyer. That option is available in the Message Center, in questions about offers and orders, and in Discussions. Buyers can use the same option to translate your reply, so you can send them messages in Polish or English.
We will also email buyers the most important order information — in their own language, so you do not need to send them separate messages. If you want to do that, prepare a Czech version. If you try to send an email in Polish to a Czech customer — we will add an appropriately marked automatic translation displayed over the original message.
When a foreign customer wants to return a purchase
No worries! In the Allegro foreign marketplaces — just like on allegro.pl — you can set the terms of returns and hold money for that purpose. You can also take advantage of a special promotion that allows you to avoid the cost of returning POD parcels uncollected by Czech customers.
- The general Allegro returns policy is available to buyers in each marketplace. If you sell in several marketplaces, you should follow the rules of each of them. See the most important rules and differences.
- You can link each of your offers only to one version of the returns terms. The terms you add to an offer are in effect in every marketplace. We automatically translate them.
- In the Additional information section of the returns terms, you can select which information buyers will see in your offer. If some of the terms are legally binding only in Poland, we will mark them as only allegro.pl and will not display them to buyers from other marketplaces.
- You can reserve money for returns in the currency of each marketplace. Select an amount in the specific currency, and we will leave it on your account when you pay out your proceeds. We can also deduct money from the reserved amount for your liabilities to Allegro.
- In certain cases, we can automatically refund the buyer after they cancel the order or withdraw from the agreement. You can also use the automatic refund mechanism. See how it works.
- If you do not have funds in a given currency and the buyer requests a return, top up your balance in the Funds and Operations History tab with the amount for that particular refund. It will allow us to immediately transfer the money you paid in that currency for a refund to the specific customer.
Promotion: return of uncollected parcels from Czechia for 1 PLN!
Are you worried that the buyer will not collect the order and that you will have to pay for the parcel's return? No, we cover the return costs for parcels uncollected by buyers. If the customer fails to collect the order placed on allegro.cz and the parcel is returned to you, you will only pay 5 CZK, which equals 1 PLN.
The promotion applies to delivery options you settle directly with us. See the promotion Terms & Conditions.
Payments and settlements on allegro.cz
The most important thing you need to know is that the currency of allegro.cz is the Czech koruna (CZK). You use it to settle with buyers and with us. On Allegro, we have prepared several improvements and tools that allow you to easily convert currencies — at every stage of settlements.
1. When a buyer pays for the order
You can see the payments made by buyers on allegro.cz in the Funds and Operations History tab — next to the payments from allegro.pl and other marketplaces. Payments from each marketplace will be summarized separately and in the relevant currency.
2. When you want to pay out money from sales
You can pay out funds in CZK from allegro.cz to your current account for payouts or to a separate bank account in another currency. The currency exchange rate for such a transfer depends on your bank. To avoid that, use our Currency converter and pay out money in the selected currency. You can also add separate bank accounts to payouts in different currencies.
3. When you want to check how much you need to pay for your sales
On allegro.cz, we charge fees for our services just like on allegro.pl, — but in CZK. Listing offers is free. You will pay the sales commission only when a Czech customer buys from you. You can also use that additional budget on Allegro Ads. However, promotion options like Features are not available on allegro.cz.
We have gathered the sales commission rates for particular categories on this page — they are the same rates you can find in our Terms & Conditions. If you want to check a sample cost for an offer on allegro.cz, use our fee calculator.
4. When you want to pay for our services
You will have a dedicated sub-account for settlements with us in every marketplace. The sub-account for allegro.cz will be held in CZK. In the Settlements with Allegro tab, you can check your current balance, payments, and account history for each currency.
Just like on allegro.pl, we automatically deduct fees and sales commission from your revenue in each marketplace. We will issue you a separate invoice in CZK for sales on allegro.cz.
Learn more about settlements, invoices, and the automatic payment of fees for our services.
Your sales quality level in foreign marketplaces
Before you start selling
If you want to start selling in foreign marketplaces, your sales quality level must be:
- Neutral or higher — if you sell from the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the UK, or Ukraine, or if you sell on allegro.cz from the Asia-Pacific Region and use the One Fulfillment service
- Good or higher — if you sell from other regions.
If you do not meet that requirement:
- when submitting an offer — we will reject it and not display it in foreign marketplaces
- throughout the offer duration — we will withdraw your offer from additional marketplaces (if your sales quality level is below Neutral for 7 days in a row).
Each time you improve your sales quality up to at least Neutral and maintain it for at least 7 days, we will try to share the offers you submitted in the foreign marketplaces again — as long as they meet the other requirements.
When you are already selling
The scores you can see in the My Sales Quality tab reflect your activity in all marketplaces. For most metrics, we calculate points in the same way — regardless of the marketplace. The only exceptions are the three metrics below.
Timely responses and Average response time
For those metrics, we do not count the response time on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays — according to the holiday calendar that applies to a particular marketplace.
Recommendations from buyers
We grant points in that metric depending on the marketplace where the buyer made the purchase. We recalculate them proportionally to all your recommendations and sum them up.
Additional support and Allegro services
You do not want to handle the logistics of selling abroad yourself? Join One Fulfillment and leave it to us!
If you use the One Fulfillment service, you do not need to worry about handling orders — we deliver them to your customers quickly and conveniently. We dispatch parcels on the day of purchase or within 24 hours. We can also store your products safely in our warehouses.
Advertise your offers abroad!
In the Campaigns and Programs tab, you can submit your offers for the ongoing promotion campaigns in selected marketplaces — including allegro.cz. In the tab, you can find local editions of Allegro Days and Black Weeks. What is more, in foreign marketplaces, you can use Allegro Ads in the form of Sponsored offers.
