How we help buyers pay for purchases made from you
The payment options we offer allow buyers to finance their purchases conveniently. Learn more about deferred payments and installments available on Allegro.
To increase the chances of selling products, we allow buyers to pay for their purchases in several convenient ways. Thanks to deferred payments and installments, your customers can make purchases whenever they want — even if they have no funds at that moment.
Those payment options are a form of supporting your sales on Allegro. Customers may buy more and more often with them than with other payment options.
What payment options we offer
Buyers with regular accounts can use the following payment options:
We have prepared an additional payment option for buyers with business accounts — Allegro Pay Business.
Allegro Pay
Allegro Pay is a purchase limit that allows the buyer to defer payment for 30 days or split the purchase into installments — for up to 20 months. Buyers with Allegro Smart! can also pay in installments over 2 months at no extra cost.
PayU installments
We enable PayU installments for purchases of at least 1,000 PLN. The buyer can split the purchase into installments even up to 50 months. The maximum financing is 50,000 PLN.
ZERO rates
ZERO rates are available in offers with PayU installments that you promote with Features. The buyer does not bear any additional credit costs.
Allegro Pay Business
Allegro Pay Business is a convenient payment option for companies we launched in cooperation with PragmaGo. Business customers can defer payment by 30 days for free or even by 60 days and make purchases up to 50,000 PLN. Learn more.
Purchase of insurance for items on Allegro - information for sellers
Customers interested in products that are Listed in selected categories can also buy insurance for them. The seller therefore does not bear any costs.
Allegro Care is a new service that allows buyer to insure their devices while shopping. Buyer can choose one of the insurance options offered by Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń ERGO Hestia.
Your customers buy insurance via Allegro and Allegro Pay, and the insurance is provided by Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń ERGO Hestia (Insurer).

How the buyer can pay for the purchase of insurance
The customer buys the insurance together with the item . He will see the information that insurance is available when he adds the item to the cart and clicks [to checkout] or selects the buy now option. If the buyer has already paid for the item, he will not currently buy insurance for it.
The buyer can choose one of the payment methods in advance:
- Allegro Pay payment
- Bank transfer
- PayU installments
- Payment Card
- BLIK.
When buying insurance, the buyer will not pay:
- cash on delivery (i.e. on delivery)
- with the use of split payment.
The buyer will not pay for the insurance with a gift card or coupon. If he uses them, he will reduce the amount (value) of the item by the value of the coupon or card.
Payment for the item goes to the seller, and for insurance - to the insurer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Thanks to the Allegro Care service, customers can insure items while purchasing them on Allegro. This way they gain Safety and comfort. The insurance provides, among other things, additional protection in the event of a breakdown that occurred after the warranty period, damage or theft - and this may encourage some customers to buy in offers in categories in which insurance is available.
No, because the policyholder must be an adult. If the buyer has a Junior account , Allegro Care will not be used.
Yes, insurance is also available then. In the Emergency Support Option, the Insurer will arrange a repair (in the service or by a specialist) as part of the door-to-door service, i.e. without leaving your home. It will also cover its cost up to PLN 500 (one-off pending the insurance period). If the repair cost is higher, the buyer may pay the difference.
When and how you will get money for orders paid on delivery
You can offer your customers different POD delivery options. Depending on which ones you select, you will receive the payment in different ways.
You can enable POD delivery options:
- you offer based on your agreements with carriers. You settle those delivery options directly with the carriers. It means you get the payment for parcels directly from them.
- which you settle directly with us. In this case, you do not need to sign a separate agreement with the carrier. You can dispatch parcels with such delivery options only through Ship with Allegro. You can check them below.

If you offer delivery options that you settle directly with us
- You will not get the payment for POD parcels directly from the buyer or the carrier. Our payment operator — Allegro Finance — will process it.
- We will add the payment for the POD order to your current balance in the Funds and Operations history tab. You will see the Payout settings in PLN for Allegro Standard POD parcels section. To manage the payments, activate the payouts in the Allegro Standard POD payments section of the Payout Settings tab.
- You will receive the payment for the order within 2 working days after the buyer collects the parcel. You will find the money in the Funds and Operations history tab — for orders from allegro.pl and other marketplaces. We will transfer the payments daily to your bank account. We will also inform you about it in the Payment on delivery section when you dispatch the parcel with Ship with Allegro. You cannot change the frequency of payouts or order automatic or on-demand ones.
- You can get payments from several buyers within one transfer. It will be the total amount for all the orders from a given working day.
- The title of the transfer with buyers' payments is as follows: Wypłata Allegro Finance sp. z o.o. Id (payout number) login.
You can find the payment information in the Orders tab. In the details of a given order, in the POD details section, you will find:
- the amount paid by the buyer
- the bank account where you can find the payment
- the first and last name of the bank account's owner.
How to request a surcharge
If the payment from the buyer turned out to be too low, you can request a surcharge. You will do it in the relevant tab. Find out more.
If a payment from a buyer is too low or they agree for you to impose additional costs, such as international shipping fees — you can ask them for a surcharge in the Orders tab.
How to request a surcharge
- Go to a selected transaction in the Orders tab.
- Click actions, and next, ask for a surcharge.
- Enter the surcharge amount. You can also add an explanation or just click [send your request].
If you sell on allegro.cz, the maximum surcharge is 150 CZK.
- The buyer will receive a notification informing them that they should pay the surcharge to the email address they provided in the account settings. There, they can find transaction details and the link to the surcharge form.
What the buyers’ payment statuses mean
Thanks to statuses, you can easily check at what stage all payments from your clients are.
Each payment stage is marked with a relevant status.
The payment status you can check in the Orders tab – you can see the payment status next to every order.
The payment statuses
- In progress – the buyer initiated the payment process, but we have not received any information about the incoming payment yet. The buyer might not have paid yet, or the payment might be in transfer between the banks.
You will see this status if you click the payment number in the notification, or the payment card in the Orders tab.
- Canceled – the buyer or the payment service provider canceled the payment before it was complete.
You will see this payment status only after clicking the payment number in the notification about payment and delivery options chosen by the buyer.
- Complete – the payment has been made correctly, and now you can find the money in your Allegro Finance.
