Allegro DPD Courier ― Information for sellers
Find out how this delivery option works and how you can enable it for your customers.
How to enable this delivery option
- Go to your shipping price lists in Delivery Settings.
- Select Dispatch from: Poland and to Poland.
- You can find the Allegro DPD Courier delivery option in the Settlements with Allegro section.
You can enable it in your offers for the maximum of:
- 14.99 PLN — for payment in advance
- 19.99 PLN — for payment on delivery.
You can easily add this delivery option to multiple price lists at once. Just click the button:
Maximum parcel dimensions and weight
Maximum dimensions
- the longest side — 150 cm
- parcel size — sum of length and circumference (length + 2 x height + 2 x width) — max. 300 cm
Maximum weight
- basic weight — maximum parcel weight without additional fees — 10 kg
- maximum parcel weight you can dispatch through Ship with Allegro — 31.5 kg
- actual weight — how much the parcel weighs when placed on a scale — 10 kg
- dimensional weight (also called volumetric or volume weight by some carriers) — it is calculated based on your parcel's dimensions and the formula used by the given carrier.
For the Allegro DPD Courier delivery option, we calculate it with the following formula: [length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm)] / 6,000.
We base the settlement on the higher of those values.
When you dispatch a parcel, the carrier takes two weights into account: actual and dimensional. If your parcel exceeds any of them, you cannot dispatch it.
How to settle delivery costs
You will settle the parcels within Allegro Standard. This way, you do not need to sign an agreement with a carrier, and you settle the shipment directly with us under the monthly invoice.

For the Allegro DPD Courier payment on delivery option, we will add 4.99 PLN to the Allegro Smart! parcel fee for the payment on delivery service. In addition to the payment for the order, you will also get 4,99 PLN for the payment on delivery service from the buyer.

If you dispatch a parcel with payment on delivery through Ship with Allegro, you will receive the payment no later than within two working days from the moment the buyer collects the parcel. We will transfer the money to your Allegro account ― you can find it in the Funds and Operations history tab.
Additional fees for parcels over 10 kg
We will charge an additional fee for a parcel that exceeds the basic weight limit of 10 kg — both within and outside Smart!:
- 1.49 PLN — for parcels from over 10 kg to 15 kg
- 1.99 PLN — for parcels from over 15 kg to 20 kg
- 2.99 PLN — for parcels from over 20 kg to 25 kg
- 3.99 PLN — for parcels from over 25 kg to 31.5 kg.
You will settle additional service fees according to the price list that you can find in our Terms & Conditions.
What if the buyer does not collect the parcel
If the buyer does not collect the parcel, the carrier will send it back to you at your expense. For returning an uncollected parcel, you will pay 14.99 PLN.
If the buyer collects the parcel and decides to return it, they will do it for free within Allegro Smart! or at their own expense. We will not charge you any additional fees.
How to dispatch parcels
You can dispatch parcels only through our free tool — Ship with Allegro — or through integrating external tools (for example, Baselinker) with the Ship with Allegro API.

Additional parcel protection
The price of every parcel includes additional protection up to 1,000 PLN. You can also provide its amount when you dispatch the parcel. If you enter a value other than 0 PLN in the Additional Parcel Protection value field — we will charge you an additional insurance fee. It also applies to parcels you dispatch through the API.
If you want to take advantage of the insurance included in the price — leave 0.00 PLN in the Additional Parcel Protection value field. It is a default value, and you do not need to change it. Then, the parcel will be automatically insured under the carrier's civil liability.
If the value of your parcel exceeds the value indicated in the given carrier's general conditions of carriage, and you want to benefit from additional insurance — enter the amount you want to insure the parcel for in the Additional Parcel Protection value field. Then, we will charge you an additional fee according to the price list.
How to hand parcels over to the courier
You can hand the parcels over:
- during a one-time courier pick-up — the courier will collect the parcel from the address you provide in Ship with Allegro. A one-time pick-up is 4.99 PLN.
- during a fixed courier pick-up — the courier will collect the parcel for free from the address you give to the carrier
- in DPD Pickup parcel dispatch points.
Generating a label is not enough to have a courier collect the order. If you want to have your order collected, request a pick-up.
How to order fixed courier pick-ups
Complete this form (available in Polish) and send it to us at allegro_stalezlecenia@dpd.com.pl. Provide your Allegro login in the email.
The carrier will launch fixed pick-ups only after you have received the reply and confirmation from DPD.
How to dispatch a parcel outside Ship with Allegro
Besides Ship with Allegro, you can dispatch parcels with the following delivery options:
- Allegro DPD Courier
- Allegro DPD Courier payment on delivery.
If you want to settle these delivery options directly with us, you have to:
- provide the correct email address in the carrier's dispatch tool
- have a login and password to the carrier's dispatch tool
- set the correct maximum prices in the shipping price lists.
Provide DPD with the correct email address
For every order, provide the correct email address of the buyer. The carrier's dispatch system recognizes that you are dispatching a parcel based on the customer's email address, and you will be able to settle it directly with us.
When dispatching a parcel, always enter the full and correct email address of the customer. A full email address consists of two parts, connected by a "+" sign, in the @allegromail.pl domain. You can find it in sales notifications and order details.
If you provide an incorrect buyer's email address or do not provide it at all for a given order:
- you will settle this order with the carrier, according to the rates specified by your agreement with them
- in case of an Allegro Smart! parcel — you will not receive a payment from the buyer or us, so you will have to pay the full delivery cost charged by the carrier.
Login and password to the DPD dispatch tool
If you want to generate labels and dispatch parcels outside Ship with Allegro, contact DPD directly.
The parcels you settle with Allegro under your agreement with DPD:
- are included in the parcel pool within your subscription — you will settle the subscription directly with DPD
- are included in the parcel limit
- are not included in the system readiness fee (available in Polish).
If you use DPD services through a third-party provider:
- find out whether the provider is going to charge you additional fees for parcels dispatched with Allegro delivery options
- check if the provider exchanges information with us to find out which parcels you are settling directly with us.
How to file a complaint
You can file a complaint about delivery:
- through our complaint form in the Ordered Parcels tab. Select the order you want to file a complaint about, open the order details, and click [complain about delivery] — it applies to parcels you dispatch in Ship with Allegro without an own agreement with the carrier.
- directly through the form on the DPD website — you will find it in the My DPD tab. Always submit a power of attorney from Allegro with such a complaint. You can find it in the Delivery Settings tab. All you need to do is click [pobierz pełnomocnictwo] at the bottom of the page. This option is only available if you select Polish in your account location settings.
Remember to attach our power of attorney when you file a complaint with the carrier regarding the parcels you settle directly with us. Go to Delivery Settings, switch the language to Polish, and click [pobierz pełnomocnictwo] in the Reklamacje dostaw (Delivery complaints) section. Learn more.
