Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland — information for sellers

Our international delivery option is carried out via the DPD carrier as part of the delivery options settled within Allegro Standard. This allows you to dispatch products from Poland to 23 EU countries quickly and conveniently.

We want you to reach as many buyers as possible not only in Poland, but also abroad. Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland will make shipping abroad as easy and convenient as shipping within Poland.

How to enable the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland delivery option

If you add at least one delivery option to the country where you want to sell to the shipping price list and link your offers to it — we will automatically consider such offers already submitted for sharing in the foreign marketplace. Learn more.

In the Delivery Settings tab, in your price lists, select the dispatch from: Poland and to Czechia or other countries option. Select the Allegro DPD Courier delivery option in You are settling with Allegro (Allegro Standard settlements).

When you enable that delivery option, we will enable shipping to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary in your offers by default. If you want to ship to more countries than Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary, select them from the list.

You can also add the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland delivery option to multiple price lists simultaneously. Just click the following button:

We display information about international shipping:

• in filters on the left side of the list of offers
• on the offer page, in the Delivery section — if the buyer selects the [abroad] option
• in the delivery and payment form, in the Shipping abroad section.

The name of the delivery option we will display to the buyer will be, for example, The Netherlands DPD.

You can also add the payment on delivery option to the Allegro DPD Courier Czechia, Allegro DPD Courier Slovakia, and Allegro DPD Courier Hungary delivery options you enable in foreign marketplaces. You cannot enable this payment method on allegro.pl.

To which countries you can enable international shipping

In May 2023, we launched a new sales domain in Czechia, which is the result of Allegro's integration with the Mall Group and the effect of our group's long-standing international expansion. We want to introduce you to the Czech, Slovak, and Hungarian marketplaces and encourage you to enable international shipping to those countries.

The Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland delivery option is available to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary by default. You can decide which of the other 20 countries of the European Union you want to dispatch your parcels to.

Each country has a designated delivery option name. Only the countries' names differ, for example, Allegro DPD Courier Germany or Allegro DPD Courier The Netherlands.

For select countries, we have excluded some areas ― such as high mountain ranges or islands ― that are hard to reach for couriers. That is why we have disabled selected postal codes corresponding to those areas. It means that buyers cannot order delivery there, and you cannot dispatch such parcels.

How to enable shipping to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary

You can enable the Allegro DPD Courier Czechia, Allegro DPD Courier Slovakia, and Allegro DPD Courier Hungary delivery options in your offers on allegro.pl and:

• on allegro.cz — the Allegro DPD Courier Czechia delivery option
• on allegro.sk — the Allegro DPD Courier Slovakia delivery option
• on allegro.hu — the Allegro DPD Courier Hungary delivery option.

In the price lists, there is a field where you can provide the delivery price in the currency of a given marketplace — even if you sell only on allegro.pl. This field cannot be left empty.

If you withdraw your offers from sharing in the foreign marketplace, we will not display this price to your buyers. You can enter your own delivery price or leave the one we suggest.

Buyers on allegro.pl will see the prices in PLN, and buyers in foreign marketplaces, for example, in CZK or EUR (if you share your offers there).

What the settlement model is

You will settle the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland within Allegro Standard — directly with us and for attractive rates. You will pay for parcels dispatched with that delivery option and additional services within your monthly invoice.

Each time, we add delivery costs to Settlements with Allegro on your account.

To benefit from our offer, on dispatching the parcel, select:

• the Allegro agreement (for example, Allegro DPD Courier Czechia) – if you use Ship with Allegro

  or

• Ship with Allegro API and the Allegro agreement if you use external systems, like Baselinker or Sello.

How much you will pay for Allegro DPD Courier international parcels

Types of service within the Allegro DPD Courier international dispatch:

• basic service fee ― applies to parcels up to 10 kg. It is a fixed fee for a given destination country covered by the buyer,
• additional service fee ― applies to parcels between 10 and 20 kg, or between 20 and 31.5 kg. The seller covers the additional service cost ― the buyer pays the price for the basic service that the seller sets in the price list.

Allegro Smart! parcel settlements

We will charge a 39 CZK fee for Allegro Smart! parcels with the payment on delivery option. In addition to the payment for the order, you will also get 39 CZK for the payment on delivery service from the buyer.

We will charge a 490 HUF fee for Allegro Smart! parcels with the payment on delivery option. In addition to the payment for the order, you will also get 490 HUF for the payment on delivery service from the buyer.

What the maximum parcel dimensions and weight are

The maximum dimensions and weight of parcels dispatched with the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland option:

• maximum weight (dimensional or actual weight) — 10 kg
• maximum length of the longest side of the parcel — 175 cm
• sum of sides (2 x width + 2 x length + height) = max. 300 cm

Parcel weight is calculated according to the higher parameter:

• actual weight — how much the parcel weighs when placed on a scale or
• dimensional weight — related to the size of your parcel. We calculate it with the following formula: [height (cm) x length (cm) x width (cm)] / 5,000.

There are surcharges for parcels over 10 kg (actual or dimensional weight) set in the price list. The maximum parcel weight you can declare in the Ship with Allegro dispatch form is 31.5 kg.

How to dispatch a parcel

You can dispatch parcels with the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland delivery option only through Ship with Allegro or by integrating the Ship with Allegro API with external integrators, such as Baselinker or EasyUploader.

If you dispatch your parcels under your own agreement or directly through the carrier's shipping tool — you will not settle the costs according to our price list.

Access to Ship with Allegro is free of charge. You do not need any extra formalities to use it. It is pretty simple — you can move from your Allegro account to Ship with Allegro in just two clicks.

Go to the Orders tab in My Allegro and click [dispatch parcel] for the selected order with the Allegro DPD Courier — dispatch abroad from Poland. We will redirect you to the Ship with Allegro dispatch form for that order.

If the buyer asks you to change the delivery address, you can do it while dispatching the parcel. However, you cannot change the delivery option, for example, from delivery to the buyer's doorstep to delivery to a pick-up point.

You can order a courier to collect your parcel. The courier will collect the parcel from the address you provided in the dispatch form. We make this option available within the basic service — which means it is free of charge.

Generating a label does not mean that you ordered a courier pick-up automatically. Remember to order a pick-up if you want the courier to collect your parcels.

How to set the same-day dispatch time

The same-day dispatch time is the time by which buyers must place their order and pay for it if they want the parcel to be dispatched on the same day.

You can set it in the Delivery Settings tab — in the Time settings for orders with same-day dispatch section:

Complaints

You can file a complaint in 2 ways:

• Directly with DPD (the form available in Polish) — in the case of damage or loss of the parcel.

Make sure to include our power of attorney when filing such a complaint — if it refers to an order placed on allegro.pl. You can find it in the Delivery Settings tab. All you need to do is click [pobierz pełnomocnictwo] (download the power of attorney) at the bottom of the page. This button is available only if you select Polish in the account location settings.

If you want to file a complaint for an order from allegro.cz, you do not need our power of attorney.

• Through Allegro, when the complaint concerns deliveries you dispatched via the Ship with Allegro tool without a contract with the carrier.

Report to us (via chat, email, or phone) a complaint concerning:

• the delivery fee
• fees for additional services
• damage or loss of the parcel.

If you file a complaint and it turns out that the fees are miscalculated — the carrier will send us a correction we will later include in your bill. If the complaint relates to damage or loss of the parcel and you file it without Allegro's involvement, the correction will go directly to the bank account number you have indicated.

How parcel returns work

If the buyer does not collect their parcel or the courier does not find the recipient at the indicated address, the parcel will be sent back to you at your cost.

For returning an uncollected parcel, you will pay:

• 18.99 PLN — for purchases made on allegro.pl (regardless of the country of delivery)
• 99 CZK* — for purchases made on allegro.cz
• 3.49 EUR* — for purchases made on allegro.sk
• 1,400 HUF* — for purchases made on allegro.hu.

If the parcel is heavier than 10 kg, we will charge you the additional service fee according to the price list.

If the buyer collects the parcel and decides to return it, they should arrange the return of the product at their own expense. You will not be charged any additional fees.
