Payout account
How to pay out money from sales if you hold a regular account
You must have the PayU service active to pay out money from sales on a regular account. You can find all the necessary settings regarding payouts in the relevant tab.
You can only pay out money from sales with a transfer to your bank account.
If you pay out funds for the first time, activate your PayU account. Provide the necessary information, set the frequency of payouts, and make a verification transfer. Your bank account details must match the details in your Allegro account.
If you have any issue paying out your funds, contact us and describe your problem thoroughly.
To order a one-time payout from Allegro Finance, go to the Funds and Operations history tab and click [withdraw available funds]. Before you do that, make sure the payout details are correct.
The bank transfer with the payout will be carried out by the end of the next business day at the latest.
Editing settings
You can edit your payout settings any time. If you change the account details for payouts, we will suspend payouts for 1 day as a safety measure.
What if the payout fails
If you try to pay out funds to an inactive bank account (for example, if a given account has been closed), the bank will cancel your payout within a couple of days. In that case, we will automatically block Allegro Finance payouts by the time you update your bank account number for payouts. Only an Allegro employee can unblock your payouts.
How to update the bank account number for payouts
- Go to the Payout Settings tab.
- Next to the bank account number, click [edit] and provide the new number.
- Make a verification transfer.
Once the new bank account number is verified, we will automatically activate payouts. From that moment, you can pay out funds to the new account.
Reverification of business details — what it is and what it involves
Payment operators — PayU, Przelewy24, and Allegro Finance — are obliged by law to reverify business details regularly. To do that, they may ask you to provide additional information, for example, business verification documents.
Payment operators — PayU, Przelewy24, and Allegro Finance — are obliged by law to reverify business details regularly. To do that, they may ask you to provide additional information, for example, business verification documents.
As we cooperate with payment providers, you can go through the reverification process on the Allegro website. The process is similar to registration and account activation. That is why we can complete most data for you — which allows you to verify your account faster and more easily.
Legal basis
Reverification is required by the Act of March 1, 2018, on preventing money laundering and financing terrorism (Polish Journal of Laws of 2021, item 1132 with amendments, available in Polish), particularly with article 34 of that Act.
How much time you have to undergo reverification
It depends on whether the payment operator considers your case urgent or of standard priority. If your case is considered urgent, you will be obliged to verify your account within 5 days. However, usually, you can do it within 60 or 90 days (depending on the operator) — if you fail to verify your account within that deadline, we may suspend your payouts or sales. We will let you know about the verification deadline in the notification and in messages we will display in a few tabs.
Until the deadline passes, you can sell and withdraw sales funds as usual. However, if the verification requires you to change the account for payouts, you can pay out money to the previous account only until the verification of the new account begins.
What happens if you fail to verify your business details on time
The first option
If you complete the verification process too late or you fail to do it at all — we will suspend your payouts. Note that if you submit documents close to the deadline, the payment operator may not be able to check them on time.
We will unlock payouts once you complete reverification. If you fail to do it — we may also suspend your sales entirely.
The second option
If the result of your verification carried out by a payment operator is negative, we will suspend your sales.
How you can lift the sales suspension
If the result of your reverification carried out by a payment operator is positive, we will lift the sales suspension from your accounts. To undergo reverification, click [send verification documents] in:
- the email we have sent after imposing a sales suspension due to failure to verify within the deadline
- the message you will see after imposing a sales suspension due to failure to verify within the deadline.
What the reverification on Allegro involves
The reverification is similar to registration and account activation but is shorter and simpler. For example, you do not have to set the sales terms.
If payment operators inform us that your business details are being reverified and they need additional information, we will let you know by email. You will also see a dedicated message displayed in the tabs: Funds & Operations history, My Assortment, My Sales, and Account details.
- Start verification — click [send verification documents] in the email or [go to verification] in the message.
- Check:
- your business details — basic details that you have already entered in your account — we complete them for you
- payout account details — account number and account holder details.
If you need to change them, you can do it at this stage. If the data are correct, click [confirm and continue].
- In the form, we will ask you to confirm your identity and your business details. All persons requested by the payment operator to confirm their identity are obliged to do so (a company's beneficiary and/or representative). In some cases, the payment operator may ask you to send additional documents related to the company's operations that are obligatory in your country. In the form, you will find more information on the documents you need to send. Click [Send] in the last step to send the form for verification. You will be able to do that only if everybody who was requested to confirm their identity has done so, and you have added the required company documents. If you want to know what documents to prepare beforehand, check the general regulations in our articles: for Polish businesses, for businesses from the European Economic Area, and for businesses from outside the European Economic Area. Sometimes, you will also need to confirm the bank account — in that case, you will see a relevant message.
Done. We will let you know by email about the verification result.
If the verification deadline expires or if we reject your documents — you will get a message that your payout account or sales have been suspended. In that case, reverify again according to the instruction above to be able to pay out funds again or lift the sales suspension.
What if you have several accounts registered with the same tax identification number
In that case, we may ask you to reverify one or all accounts registered with the same tax identification number. You will learn which account requires reverification from the messages that we display to you.
If the reverification is required for the account you are currently using, you will see the message:
If reverification is required for one of your other accounts, you will see the message:
As login_konta, we will display to you the login of the account that requires reverification.
If you fail to verify within the deadline:
- we will block payouts for all accounts linked to a given tax identification number
- we will suspend sales for all accounts linked to a given tax identification number.
What happens if you fail to submit the requested document
If you fail to verify your data, the payment operator may terminate the service agreement on your Allegro account. They will inform you about that via email. In the attachment to the email you will also find the termination of services provided to you by that operator.
What the termination of agreement by a payment operator means
That means you will not be able to:
- sell on Allegro and Allegro Lokalnie
- accept payments from buyers.
You can still buy on Allegro and Allegro Lokalnie.
If you want to start selling again, register a new account on Allegro. Check how to do that.
Do you have any more questions? Contact us — we will help you go through verification smoothly.
Legal basis
Such verification is required by the Act of March 1, 2018 on preventing money laundering and financing terrorism. The Act is is available on the website of the national legislature (only in Polish). Institutions like PayU are legally obliged to update documents and customers' data regularly. According to law, such institutions have the right to process information from customers' identity documents and to make copies of them.
How often the data is verified
Payment operators may verify data anytime, however, usually they do it once in 3 years.
How you will be informed about the verification
If the payment operator needs your identity document to verify your data, you will receive a request from PayU to send it. The request will be sent from the address service@payu.com — the title will be “Zweryfikuj swoje dane, aby nadal wypłacać środki z Allegro Finanse” / (Verify your data to be able to withdraw money from Allegro Finance).
What information should be visible on the document
All you need to do is to submit a photograph of the back side of your national identity card or only the page of your passport that contains the photograph.
Only the following have to be visible and legible:
- first and last name
- PESEL number (or your date of birth if you do not have a PESEL number)
- document's series and number
- document's date of issue and expiry date.
You can cover all the other information.
You can secure your document
To secure the copy of your document, you can add a watermark or any other elements, for example, a strike-through or a text. However, such additional security means cannot hinder readability of the data necessary for completing the verification.
How to submit the photo of the document
- Go to the Payout Settings tab.
- In the PayU section, click [przejdź do PayU] / (go to Payu).
- Attach a photo of your identity document and submit it for verification. Done!
How you will know if the verification is successful
If — after you submit the scanned copy of the documents or its photograph — in the Payout Settings tab the [przejdź do PayU] / (go to PayU) button:
- is not visible — that means that your data has been successfully verified and updated
- is visible but when you click it, a message about ongoing verification pops up — that means that your data are still being verified by the PayU team
- is visible but when you click it, a form appears — that means your data has not been updated. In that case check whether the photo you submitted is clear and the data is legible — then submit the document again.
In what cases you have to submit the document again
You may have to do it if the document you submitted:
- is illegible — it is impossible to read the required data
- belongs to someone else than the person registered on a given account and being verified
- contains data that are covered but necessary for completing the verification
- consists of one page that does not contain all the data necessary for completing the verification.
How much time you have to confirm your identity
You have to do it within 90 days from receiving the request. Until the deadline, you can use your account as usual — to sell and withdraw sales funds.
What happens if you fail to submit the requested document
If you fail to verify your data, the PayU payment operator may terminate the service agreement on your Allegro account. PayU will inform you about that via email. In the attachment to the email you will also find the termination of services provided to you by PayU.
What the termination of agreement by PayU means
That means you will not be able to:
- sell on Allegro and Allegro Lokalnie
- list on charity auctions in the Allegro Charity platform
- accept payments from buyers.
You can still buy on Allegro, Allegro Lokalnie, and participate in charity auctions. If you want to start selling again, register a new account on Allegro. Check how to do that.
What documents you need to submit to activate payouts through Przelewy24
If you want to receive payments from buyers via Przelewy24, enable the service in Allegro Finance. Depending on the type of your business, you are required to submit different documents.
In order to activate payouts through Przelewy24 within Allegro Finance, submit necessary documents:
business type | required documents |
---|---|
a regular account | required documents the identity confirmation form (available in the Payout settings tab, in the Przelewy24 section, when you click [uzupełnij dane osobowe] (provide personal data)), or a scan or a photo of ID or passport of a person, whose details are provided on the account |
a Junior account | required documents an ID or passport scan/photo of a person on whom the account is registered, and an ID or passport scan/photo of a legal guardian of the account holder as well as a declaration signed by them (available only in Polish) |
You can submit the documents in the Payout settings tab. Go to the Przelewy24 section and click [uzupełnij dane osobowe] (provide personal details).
You can submit up to 7 documents as PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs. BMPs, and TIFFs, up to 4MB.
The verification lasts up to 5 business days. In some cases, we may request you send additional documents.
Why you need to submit the documents for verification
The payment service provider is obliged to apply financial security measures (according to the Act of March 1, 2018, on the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing). The basic financial security measures include, among others, verification of customers' identity and identification of the beneficial owner. The documents are removed after the verification is complete.

When and how often you can withdraw money if you hold a business account
You can pay out your funds at any time or you can choose to pay them out automatically. You can change your payout settings in the Payout settings tab.
What the available payment methods are
You can withdraw money:
- on demand — at any time. You can request a payout through the Funds and Operations history tab. If the payout on demand is possible within a given payout schedule, the confirmation button at requesting the payout will be active.
- automatically. We will pay the money according to a domestic or international schedule.
How to enable automatic payouts
- Go to the Payout Settings tab.
- In the section for payouts in a given currency — for example, PLN payouts or EUR payouts, click [edit settings]. We will display a separate screen with payout settings.
- In the Automatic payouts section, move the slider to enable that payout method.
- You can select the account to which you want to withdraw money, set the details for payouts within the domestic schedule, or reserve the money.
- Click [save] to confirm the settings.
- Done. We will pay out funds automatically, according to your payout settings.
What the payout schedule is and how it works
The payout schedule determines how often and in what currency you can withdraw money. The schedule we apply depends on:
- the currency you want to withdraw
- ountry code in the IBAN of your account for payouts.
There are two payout schedules:
- domestic
- international.
1. Domestic schedule — you can select how often you want to withdraw money.
For PLN — we apply it if the currency to be paid out is PLN and, at the same time, the country code in the IBAN of your account for payouts is the code of one of SEPA countries — for example, PL. In that case, we will pay out money:
- automatically:
- once a week — on a day of your choice
- once a month — on a day of your choice
- on each working day
- on demand.
You can decide on your own how often and in what amount you will withdraw money.
For CZK and HUF — we apply it if the currency to be paid out matches the IBAN. For example, you want to pay out:
- CZK to an account with country code CZ in the IBAN
- HUF to an account with country code HU in the IBAN
In that case, we will pay out money:
- automatically:
- once a week — on a day of your choice
- once a month — on a day of your choice
- on each working day
- on demand.
For EUR — we apply it if EUR is the currency to be paid out and, at the same time, the country code in the IBAN of your account for payouts is a code of one of SEPA countries — for example, PL. In that case, we will pay out money:
- automatically:
- once a week — on a day of your choice
- once a month — on a day of your choice
- on each working day
- on demand.
The minimum amount of payout in a given currency:
- 20 PLN
- 100 CZK
- 2000 HUF
- 10 EUR.
2. International schedule — you cannot select individual payout settings. That schedule is predetermined. Payouts on demand are not available.
We apply it if the currency to be paid out — for example, CZK — does not match the country code in the IBAN. In that case, we pay out money automatically:
- for CZK:
- on the 1st day of the month, regardless of the amount
- on the 14th day of the month, from 5000 CZK
- every day, from 50,000 CZK.
If you want to pay out forints to a bank account held outside Hungary, you can only do this using the Currency Converter. Similarly, if you want to pay out Czech korunas to a bank account with an IBAN code different from CZ, you need to use the Currency Converter.
- for EUR:
- on the 1st day of the month, regardless of the amount
- on the 14th day of the month, from 50 EUR
- every day, from 500 EUR
- for PLN:
- on the 1st day of the month, regardless of the amount
- on the 14th day of the month, from 100 PLN
- every day, from 4,000 PLN.

How often you can withdraw money from sales if you use currency conversion
You can withdraw the funds from sales in other marketplaces to your current, verified payout account, or a separate account. The conversion cost depends on your bank. If you want to avoid additional bank fees, you can add another bank account in EUR to your Allegro account, or use the Currency Converter. With the Currency Converter, you will quickly exchange your sales funds, for example, from EUR to PLN — directly on your Allegro account. Then, you can withdraw money to any active bank account that accepts money in the currency of your choice. When you exchange money, we pay out money according to a schedule for payouts with currency conversion.
We will display the minimum amount from which we pay out money with currency conversion in the base currency of the marketplace.
