From now on, you can benefit from another display location of your dynamic template ads — search prompts. Check the details.
If you have special Allegro Ads permissions, you can benefit from another display location of your dynamic template ads — that is, in search prompts.
Where we will display your ad
If you select search prompts as the display location of your dynamic template ad, we will display your ad to buyers:
- only on the desktop version of the platform — we will not display it in the Allegro mobile app or on the mobile platform version
- when they type in the products they are looking for on Allegro.
What your advertisement will look like
We are testing a new format of a dynamic template ad
On June 4, we started testing a new format of a dynamic template ad. The test will last for about 4 weeks. It will include the ads of selected sellers. As part of the test:
- we will significantly increase the surface of the graphic shown in the ad
- we will not show the advertising slogan in the mobile view — in order to ensure full visibility of the first offer shown in the ad.
You do not have to do anything regarding the test. If we include your selected offers in the test, all recipients will be able to see them. We will display other ads as usual.
A dynamic template ad is a type of display ad that consists of:
- logo
- short text
- promoted offers selected by you.
We will display the logo and the text in the last position in the search results. We will not display in search prompts the offers you selected during ad configuration.
How we select your ads
When the buyer types into the Allegro search engine the product they are looking for, we show them the ads that correspond best to the phrase they entered.
We select ads to be displayed in this location based on, for example:
- queries from buyers
- keywords you enter while creating the ad.
How to enable dynamic template ads in search prompts
Check how to launch a dynamic template ad in the Allegro Ads dashboard step by step. Select Search prompts as the display location — this option is unchecked by default.
What you should pay attention to when creating dynamic display ads in search prompts
- If you want your ad to be displayed in search prompts for the first time, create a new ad and select only one display location. That way, you will be able to easily monitor the effectiveness of the ad.
- Make sure you have an attractive advertising slogan — it plays a key role in this display location.
- Pay attention to the logo. Use simple graphics on a white background.
- Monitor the results — in the statistics dashboard, you can check the effectiveness of your ads in specific display locations.
Frequently asked questions
Why do ads displayed in search prompts have a high sales value?
As with other ad display locations, if the buyer has purchased in your offer:
- within 7 days from the moment they clicked your ad
- within 24 hours from the moment they saw your ad we will link the sales to the display of the ad and we will show its value and the number of units sold in the statistics.
Buyers who use the search engine are usually determined to make a purchase, so the value of sales and the number of units sold may be high. It may happen even with only a few clicks, as the sale is linked to the ad based on the clicks, but also on the ad impressions. Learn more about how we settle display ad costs.
Why is my ad displayed in search prompts more often than in other locations?
If, during ad configuration, you select a lot of keywords or single words instead of phrases, the ad you create will be frequently matched with phrases that buyers enter into the Allegro search engine. Check the difference between keywords and negative keywords.
Due to the high number of searches, we may display most of your ads in this location. Therefore, you should consider adding ads displayed in search prompts to separate ad groups.
How to create a Banner ad in Allegro Ads
A Banner ad is a type of image advertising that allows you to reach more buyers. Check how to enable such an ad.
A Banner ad is a type of a Display ad which consists of an image presenting a brand or an offer category. With that, you will reach a wider range of buyers.
- Sign in to your account in the Allegro Ads dashboard.
- Click [stwórz kampanię] (create campaign).
- Select Reklama graficzna (Display ad) and click [skonfiguruj kampanię] (set up campaign).
- Name the campaign and the ad group (only you will see those names).
- Select a brand for which you want to add the campaign. Here, you can also add a new brand.
- Click [dodaj reklamę] (add an ad) in the Skonfiguruj reklamy (Set up ads) section.
- Select Reklama banerowa (Banner ad).
- Complete all the fields:
- nazwa reklamy (ad name) ― only you will see this name
- gdzie ma kierować reklama (where the ad redirects to) ― provide the link to your Allegro offers
- banery reklamowe (ad banners) ― add two banners you have created ― note that they need to comply with our guidelines.
- kategorie (categories) ― select up to 15 categories in which you want your ad to be displayed
- słowa kluczowe i wykluczające (keywords and negative keywords) ― complete the keywords, so that the system can display your ad when buyers enter them in the search engine, as well as negative keywords that will block the display of your ad.
- Determine up your daily budget, the CPM rate, and display period. Optionally, you can state your total budget.
- Click [stwórz kampanię] (create a campaign) to send it to us for verification. We will verify it and display it on Allegro if it complies with the display rules. Next to the campaign, you will see the Displaying status. If we reject the ad, we will ask you to edit the ad and implement changes specified in the explanation. Implement changes and submit the ad for verification once again.
How to turn on a Flexible banner in Allegro Ads
A Flexible banner on the home page is a display ad that presents a brand, a product, or an offer category in a graphic form.
We will automatically adjust the text and image of your Flexible banner to display properly on various devices and in different display locations. This will help you reach more buyers from your first days on Allegro.
What you need to add a Flexible banner
- One image, at least 1,600 x 350 px in size — with no text or logo. Place the most important part of the graphics, such as the product photo, on the right side .
- Copy text — the longest text that will appear on your ad. It should contain the key message of the ad. Text length: 10–32 characters.
- Additional text — optional (you can leave this field empty). This text will be smaller and displayed in the ad under the copy. Text length: 10–50 characters.
- Legal notice — optional (you can leave this field empty). If you select this field, it will replace the additional copy text. Text length: max. 200 characters.
- Logo — add the logo of your brand. Do not add the Allegro logo.

How to add a Flexible banner
Sign in to your account in the Allegro Ads dashboard.
Click [add campaign].
Select Display ads and click [configure campaign].
Name the campaign and the ad group (these names are visible only to you).
Select ad type — Flexible banner.
- Complete all the fields:
- ad name ― visible only to you
- where the ad should lead — add a link to which your ad will redirect the user when they click it
- ad content and design:
- image — you can use one of the images prepared earlier in the Multimedia tab
- logo — add the logo of your brand
- copy text — add text that encourages buyers to click on your ad, max. 32 characters
- additional text — optional, max. 50 characters
- categories related to the ad ― select up to 15 categories, so we can adjust the ad display. We will display the ad to buyers who have browsed offers in those categories.
- Add the banner — in size 1600 x 350 px, without a text and a logo. When you add a banner, you can check the preview of the safe area of the image — it will always be visible.
On the left side of the image, we will display the logo, copy text, and additional copy text — on smaller screens, these elements may cover image details.
We will always display the entire logo, copy text, and additional copy text in your ad. We will adjust these components to display properly on various devices.
- Select display location. We can display the flexible banner:
- on the home page — select Showcase on the Allegro homepage
- in the left column on the list of offers — select Left-hand column in the list of offers.
We will display the flexible banner to buyers who had browsed offers in the categories you selected when creating the ad.
Determine your daily budget, the CPM rate, and dates of display. Optionally, you can state your total budget.
Click [create campaign] to send it to us for verification. We will display it on Allegro if it complies with the display rules. Next to the campaign, you will see the [Displaying] status. If we reject it, we will provide you with the reason. Then, you will have the possibility to correct the ad according to our comments and resubmit it for verification.
You can also place a dynamic template ad on the home page. All you need to do when you create it is select Showcase on the Allegro home page as the display location.

- Sign in to your account in the Allegro Ads dashboard.

After you have added the 960 x 252 px banner, you will see a so-called exclusion zone. It consists of the lines that show you how the graphic creation will be displayed on the Allegro homepage. Anything outside those lines may be not displayed.
If crucial information or buttons are outside the lines, upload a different graphic creation. Moderators will not accept incorrect ads.

You need to prepare a graphic creation in two formats:
- 1600 × 350 px - for ads displayed on computers
- 1536 × 500 px -- for ads displayed on our mobile website and in the Allegro application.
Links in the ad
The banner can be an advertisement for a group of products, a category or your entire Offers. It cannot be an advertisement for one product. Therefore, the link must direct to the list of offers, your Allegro store page or your other Allegro page.

The key content column should always be arranged as in the example above - place the Logo on the Offer's Page at the top of the column and align it to the left of the column, add a title below it, and a subtitle at the bottom of the column.

Be sure to leave space between the text and the edge of the safe area. We marked the required margins on the diagrams.
Other requirements for advertising graphics
- Do not place texts outside the designated area.

- Do not use black and white photos, vector graphics, illustrations, unrealistic 3D visualizations.
- Use one photo or graphic that looks natural. Avoid collages or graphics that have been visibly manipulated or manipulated.

- The text on the ad cannot contain information about price reductions or suggest the exclusivity of the Offers - for example: only with us, promotion, sale, sale, exclusive offer , etc.
- You cannot enter percentage discounts, for example: -25%.

- The text may not refer to website addresses.
Appearance
- Text sizes:
- for ads displayed on computers: 33 - 48 px title, 17 - 24 px subtitle, at least 12 px footnotes
- for ads displayed in the mobile application: 24 - 30 px title, 17 px subtitle, at least 15 px footnotes.
- The text cannot be written in capital letters only. You can use capital letters in accordance with the rules of Polish grammar - for example, when you start a new sentence or mention proper nouns.
- Text cannot be bold or italic.
- The text with the most important information should be placed in the safe area and not extend beyond this area.
- The text must be written in one typeface.
- You can use up to three text sizes -- one for the title, one for the subtitle, and one for the footnotes or disclaimers.
- The text should be horizontal, from left to right. It should not be noticeably curved, slanted or distorted.
- If you must include a disclaimer in your ad, make sure it is in secure areas and legible.
Recommendations
- Use photos that show real situations. If you want to show a product, make sure that:
- present it aesthetically, in a natural context, preferably together with other products
- show it in use.
- Take care of the aesthetics of the photo and composition. Do not include many graphic elements in the ad.

- Placing key graphic elements outside the safe area.
- Incorrect text format - for example, advertising slogans in capital letters or incorrect text reconciliation .
- Errors in the text - for example, typos.
