The most popular delivery options on Allegro
The most popular delivery option among buyers is currently pickup at a location (parcel lockers and pickup points), followed by courier delivery. However, buyers have different needs, so it is best to offer them a choice of delivery options from all categories.
How to choose a carrier and negotiate contract terms
Buyers expect fast, safe, and inexpensive delivery that best meets their individual needs. With delivery options that you settle using Allegro Standard, you receive an invoice directly from Allegro at the rates we have negotiated with carriers. With the Ship with Allegro tool, you can start sending shipments without unnecessary and time-consuming formalities.
However, if you already have your own contract with the carrier, you can still use it. You can also add it to the Ship with Allegro tool to send parcels quickly and easily.
Courier delivery
Courier delivery is a delivery option often chosen by buyers. The shipping time for a courier shipment is usually between 1 and 2 days. The speed of delivery is an important factor that convinces customers to shop online — according to Allegro data, offers with the expected delivery time for the next day achieve on average up to 28% higher sales!
Allegro also offers express courier delivery, which is becoming increasingly popular on the market. Same-day delivery makes your Allegro offers more attractive than those of brick-and-mortar stores, especially when the buyer is in a hurry.
Courier shipments also allow for the transport of non-standard goods — large, heavy or of unusual dimensions. Thanks to new delivery options, you can deliver heavy and bulky products, such as large household appliances, furniture, or sports equipment. Within these options, you can provide professional additional services such as home delivery or installation/assembly throughout Poland.

Pickup at a location:
- Parcel lockers
The carrier picks up the shipment from the seller and delivers it to the machine selected by the buyer. This delivery option is rapidly gaining popularity because it offers the buyer great flexibility in terms of pickup time — the machines are available 24 hours a day, and the recipient has 48 hours (from the moment the shipment arrives at the machine) to pick up the order. The transit time to the machine is usually 1 day.
- Pickup points
The carrier delivers the shipment to a pickup point selected by the buyer, for example, a nearby kiosk or gas station. The recipient receives a notification that the shipment is waiting at the point and can be picked up during its opening hours. The average delivery time to the point is between 1 and 2 days.
Delivery options with cash on delivery
Buyers expect to be able to pay on delivery (cash on delivery) — this gives them greater security when shopping. One of the most popular options with the option of payment on delivery is courier delivery. This payment option is also a good alternative for buyers who do not have pickup points or parcel lockers nearby. It is therefore worth ensuring that each offer includes at least one delivery option with this payment option.
Thanks to the group of methods settled within Allegro Standard, you no longer need to have a signed contract with the carrier to send COD shipments. In addition, you will receive the amount for the order as soon as two working days from the moment of delivery.
The cash on delivery option is not available for the following methods:
- Allegro One Box
- Allegro One Punkt
- Allegro registered mail
- Allegro Paczkomaty InPost (not all parcel lockers have this function)
- Priority postal parcel.
Parcels and letters
For shipments of standard dimensions and weight, it is possible to send a registered or economy shipment. In addition, each of them can be sent as priority to shorten the delivery time. Registered shipments are usually delivered within 1–2 days of posting. You can send your registered shipments using the Allegro Shipping tool, without signing a contract with the carrier.
