We have introduced a limit on the number of offers and accounts for sellers registered outside the EEA, Switzerland, Ukraine, or the UK
How it worked before
The maximum number of offers a seller with a newly-created account could have at a time was 20,000. After 30 days, we would increase that limit to 200,000 offers — provided that the seller:
- maintained at least a Neutral sales quality level
- did not violate the provisions of the Terms & Conditions regarding linking offers to the Allegro Product Catalog and adding products to the Catalog
- used the correct EANs (GTINs) in offers.
Sellers could register multiple Allegro accounts with a single tax identification number.
What we have changed
We have introduced a limit of 500 offers listed on a single account for:
- sellers with a tax identification number issued outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland, Ukraine, or the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
or
- sellers whose registered office, registered business, or the actual place of conducting business activity is registered outside the area specified above.
The limit of 500 offers applies without a deadline.
Sellers from outside the area specified above can register only one account with a single tax identification number.

We have extended the list of protected brands
How it was before
On Allegro, you could list offers with products of protected brands if you held a business account, confirmed that you knew the Brand Protection Conditions, and acted according to them.

You will no longer be able to use Allegro Ads on a regular account.

Allegro Ads and promotion options: we will block the possibility of advertising offers for 30 days for selling forbidden products
You must not sell products that violate the law on Allegro. If sellers repeatedly list offers with such products, we may:
- limit their access to selected Allegro functions or suspend their account
- block them from participating in campaigns available in the Campaigns & Programs tab.
What we have changed
Starting today, we block sellers who repeatedly list offers with products that violate the law from participating in Allegro Ads campaigns and promoting offers.
What it means for you
- We monitor offers listed on Allegro and reports concerning illegal products on an ongoing basis. When we find an offer with an illegal or forbidden product, we remove it and inform the seller.
- If we discover that such violations occurred on your account on at least 3 days within the last 30 days — we will block you from advertising with Allegro Ads and promoting offers.
- You will not be able to do that for 30 days. In that period:
- we will exclude all of your offers from the ongoing Allegro Ads campaigns and disable promotion options
- we will block you from submitting new offers to Allegro Ads campaigns and adding promotion options.
We have removed two areas rated with stars: compliance with the description and customer service from the seller’s rating
Before, when buyers gave you ratings:
- they declared whether they recommend shopping at your store — by clicking thumbs up or thumbs down
- they rated compliance with the description and customer service — depending on how satisfied they were, they could award you from 1 to 5 stars.
- they added a comment or justify their rating — it was not mandatory for recommended purchases.
What we have changed
Today we have removed stars from the seller's rating.
What it means for you
- Customers can no longer rate compliance with the description and customer service — areas they rated with stars before. However, they can still recommend purchasing from you, add comments, and justify their ratings.
- We no longer display information about the stars in the Ratings Receivedtab and the About seller section.
We stopped considering stars in sales quality in November 2024. Since then, they have not had any effect on your statistics. We display them in the Ratings Received tab and the About Seller section only for information.

We have started accounting for recommendations from buyers on allegro.hu in your statistics
For the first few weeks after launching allegro.hu, we did not include sales ratings and recommendations from buyers in your statistics. It allowed you to start selling on allegro.hu without having to worry about negative opinions from new customers.
What we have changed
Today we have started accounting for recommendations from buyers on allegro.hu:
- in your recommendation percentage
- in your sales quality — in the Recommendations from buyers metric.
We sum up recommendations — you will see sales statistics regarding all marketplaces in the My Sales Quality dashboard and the Ratings Received tab.
What you can do to achieve high scores
Make sure buyers on allegro.hu are satisfied with purchasing from you. To do it:
- read our article and learn how to increase your chances of getting positive ratings from buyers.
- follow the tips of the Assistant — you can find them in the Sales Center when you click the bulb icon in the top right corner.

We now grant the Deal badge automatically
You do not need to submit offers for the Deal badge. We will grant it automatically in all the marketplaces.
We grant the Deal badge to offers in which you reduce the price by at least 5% compared to the lowest price in those offers from the last 30 days. Before, we only displayed that badge in the offers you submitted through the Campaigns & Programs tab.
What we have changed
We will add the Deal badge to all offers that meet the requirements — but only if the price reduction does not exceed 60%.
The Deal badge remains free of charge in all the marketplaces.
What offers get the Deal badge automatically
We automatically grant the Deal badge to offers that:
- are listed by sellers who hold a business account with at least a Neutral sales quality level
- are not listed in the categories in which we do not grant the Deal badge in a given marketplace
- contain new products
- have had their product price reduced by at least 5%, but no more than 60%, compared to the lowest price in that offer from the last 30 days.
Other restrictions on promoting offers in a given marketplace still apply. It means that the badge will not be available, among others, in offers of sellers who have been barred from participating in campaigns, or in offers with medical devices on allegro.pl, for which sellers have not completed the required consents.
We have updated the Allegro Privacy protection policy
In Appendix No. 5 to the Allegro Terms & Conditions, we now inform that:
- in accordance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, we cannot deliver parcels to persons who are on sanction lists
- if we have legitimate concerns about the security of your account or transactions, we may suggest you use third-party authentication services to confirm your identity
- to counter money laundering and terrorist financing, we will use analytical support services provided by Regulatory DataCorp Limited based in London, United Kingdom.
We have also made editorial changes.
Basis: imposing certain obligations by governmental authorities, improving the operation of the platform and the user service, security/safety considerations, and editorial changes (sub-paragraphs 14.1 (b,d,h,k) of the Allegro Terms & Conditions).
We consider the delivery cost while selecting Top offers
What a Top offer is
In the Allegro Product Catalog, we keep gathering all products available in offers listed by you and other sellers. Under each product, we group offers where it is available. This way buyers can find what they are looking for faster. First, they can choose the product that interests them. Then, they can select the Top offer that represents it or other offers with that product.
While selecting Top offers, we consider different factors, such as product price or the quality of the first image in an offer.
What we have changed
We have added another factor: the delivery cost. Offers in which the total cost of the product and delivery is lower will be more likely to become Top offers. At the same time, customers' interest in the offer is no longer a factor.

We have clarified how we sort product reviews
Product reviews are reviews of products submitted by customers who have bought them.
In the Terms & Conditions, we have clarified how we sort product reviews when you use the helpful filter. When you do that, we display reviews according to the accuracy algorithm that accounts for several factors. Thanks to the algorithm, reviews containing important product information are displayed higher on the list. Such reviews help buyers decide whether they should buy a given product.
What factors we take into account while sorting reviews from the most helpful:
- when a given review was added
- how long the review is
- whether the review contains a product image
- whether the buyer listed the pros and/or cons of the product
- how many sellers have rated the review as helpful with thumbs up
- whether the number of stars is close to the product's average rating
- the recommendation percentage of the seller the product was bought from
- the language of the review: for example, on allegro.pl, reviews written in Polish will be displayed higher, while on allegro.cz — the ones written in Czech will be displayed higher.

We have extended the list of categories in which you can sell only new products
We have extended the list of categories in which, due to health protection or for hygienic reasons, you can only list new products. The categories we will add to the list are available in this file.
Basis: security/safety considerations (sub-paragraph 14.1 (h) of the Allegro Terms & Conditions).
We have added drug precursors to the list of forbidden goods
We have added to the list of forbidden goods substances of category 1 and 2 in pure form specified in Annex I to the Regulation (EC) No 273/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of February 11, 2004, on drug precursors. Those are, for example, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, red phosphorus, piperidine, potassium permanganate, and many others.

If you sell weapons, ammunition, fireworks, or stun guns — we have replaced the required declarations with mandatory parameters
Before, we required specific declarations in descriptions of offers with:
- weapons
- air guns
- ammunition
- firecrackers and pyrotechnics
- stun guns.
Example: the description of an offer with ammunition had to include the declaration that it was non-combat configured.
Instead of such declarations, we now require you to complete a corresponding mandatory parameter.

We require additional information in the content of offers with dangerous substances
In the descriptions of offers with products of that kind (for example, household cleaning supplies, plant protection products, paints, solvents, etc.) we require repeating part of the information available on the product label.
In addition to this information, we also require a note in the offer that reads: In all cases, follow the information on the product label.
Basis: amendments to legal regulations having a direct impact on the content of the Terms & Conditions and security/safety considerations (sub-paragraphs 14.1 (a,h) of the Allegro Terms & Conditions).
We have clarified the rules regarding banners on the product page and the list of offers
We have clarified that the banners you place on the product page and the list of offers can only contain the following:
- information about the seller and the offered products
- the logo of the brand, manufacturer, or seller.
