With this option, you can select the marketplace — Poland (allegro.pl), Czechia (allegro.cz), Slovakia (allegro.sk) or Hungary (allegro.hu). B2B sales
If you share offers on allegro.cz, Czech business customers will also be able to buy from you on business.allegro.cz — and get an invoice for their companies. See what requirements you need to meet so that we can:
When a buyer with a business account makes a purchase on business.allegro.cz, we will automatically provide you with their EU VAT status (based on the information from publicly available registers) and invoice details.
This will help you determine how to settle the transaction with regard to tax. It will also minimize the risk of documenting such transactions incorrectly.
The buyer's EU VAT number is necessary for settling VAT for B2B transactions within the European Union. The status data verified for intra-Community transactions (VAT 0%) confirms that the buyer has the right to use the company details provided in their Allegro account settings, and that they are registered as an EU VAT taxpayer at the moment of our verification.
The taxpayer's VAT status can change over time. Before you issue an invoice, you might want to check their status in the VIES database — the EU's information exchange system.
In the sales notification, we will provide you with the buyer's details necessary to issue an invoice, such as: NIP (in Poland), IČO, and DIČ numbers (in Czechia) and the EU VAT number.
Remember that it is up to you to decide what VAT rate you will use in the invoice — especially whether the 0% VAT rate is applicable for a given transaction. Allegro is not responsible for the seller's invoicing process.
The net price is not the basis for settlement between you and the buyer — the gross price is.
You will provide the buyer with the invoice through the Orders tab. See how to do that.
If a customer without the verified EU VAT status makes a purchase in your offer, you can check the buyer in the VIES database yourself and decide whether the 0% VAT rate is applicable for that transaction.
Turnover discount — what it is and how to grant it
With a turnover discount, you have a chance to make your offers stand out and gain loyal customers who will shop with you regularly. Learn more.
You can use the turnover discount to set discounts on your entire assortment for business customers on business.allegro.cz. This means you can only add it to the offers that qualify for sharing on Allegro Business in Czechia, and it will only be visible to Czech business customers. This discount will not be available to buyers on allegro.pl, allegro.sk, or allegro.hu.
How the turnover discount works
You set this discount for your entire assortment. You decide on the discount percentage and the purchase threshold — that is, how many Czech korunas the buyer needs to spend on your products in a month to qualify.
If you set the discount and the buyer spends the specified amount at your store the following month — they will be able to purchase products from you at discounted prices in the month after that.
If the buyer reaches the required threshold again, they will be able to benefit from the discount again in the following month — and so on.
The discount will be applied in the cart. It cannot be combined with the wholesale discount for businesses. If a particular offer meets the conditions for both the turnover discount and the wholesale discount — only the wholesale discount will apply.
Who can benefit from this discount
Only sellers with a business account whose offers we share on allegro.cz can set the turnover discount.
Only entrepreneurs on business.allegro.cz — that is, Czech customers with a business account — can benefit from the turnover discount.
Where buyers will see the discount information
We display the information about the discount:
- on the product list
- when the buyer adds a product to cart
- in the seller's offer.
How to set a turnover discount
- Go to the Turnover Discount tab.
- Click [add turnover discount].
- Specify the spending threshold — between 4,000 and 60,000 CZK, and the discount percentage — between 2% and 50%.
- Click [next].
- We will display a summary. At this point, you can go back to make changes. If everything is correct, click [save discount].
The discount always takes effect on the first calendar day of the following month — you cannot change it.
How to edit or disable the turnover discount
- Go to the Turnover Discount tab.
- Click [edit] or [remove] under a given discount. If you edit or remove the discount, it will still be applicable until the end of the monthly cycle.
How to sell on Allegro Business
Allegro Business is a place where both buyers with a business account and a regular account can make business purchases. This allows you to expand your customer base and take even more advantage of the sales potential of other marketplaces.
Allegro Business is available to everyone at:
- business.allegro.pl — in Poland
- business.allegro.cz — in Czechia.
On Allegro Business, we share offers of sellers who meet specific requirements. There, you will find the same offers that are visible on Allegro, and all the tools you use daily.
On Allegro Business, you can offer convenient solutions for businesses:
- business discounts — wholesale discount, order discount, and turnover discount
- displaying net and gross prices, and VAT rates
- support for intra-community transactions — 0% VAT
- payment methods for businesses
- easier invoice management — for example, bulk download of invoices from a selected period
- easier purchase management — the purchase history is divided into private and business.
What business discounts you can set
On Allegro Business in Poland:
On Allegro Business in Czechia:
Thanks to Allegro Business, your offers will be visible to more buyers in Poland and Czechia. You do not bear any additional costs. All sales rules on Allegro Business are the same as on allegro.pl and allegro.cz.
When we will display your offers on Allegro Business
The conditions for qualifying offers on the business version of the platform are the same for the Polish and Czech marketplaces. We will display your offers on Allegro Business if you meet all the requirements below:
- you hold a business account
- we have verified your offer and published it on allegro.pl or shared it on allegro.cz
- your offers are linked to the Allegro Product Catalog
- you issue VAT invoices, and you have set a VAT rate in the offer that is applicable in the country you dispatch the goods from
- you list offers with the margin VAT invoice and non-VAT invoice parameter where the VAT rate is not required
- if your company is located outside Poland, we will also check whether your EU VAT number is active in the VIES database.
This means that if you sell on allegro.pl, share your offers on allegro.cz, and meet the other requirements — we will display those offers to both regular buyers making private purchases on allegro.pl and allegro.cz, and to business customers on business.allegro.pl and business.allegro.cz.
If your offer:
- no longer meets the requirements for sharing on allegro.cz and we withdraw it from that marketplace — we will also stop displaying it on business.allegro.cz
- has no set VAT rate and no option to issue an invoice — we will stop displaying it on Allegro Business.
On Allegro Business, you cannot sell in the following categories:
How to manage offers and use filters
Go to the My Assortment tab. When you select Poland (allegro.pl) or Czechia (allegro.cz) in the market filter — in the Offers tab, we will display basic information about your offers in the context of that marketplace, such as the price in the relevant currency.
In the Offers tab, you will also check the attribute that makes your offer stand out — for example, the Smart! badge. When we share your offers on Allegro Business, we will display a special Business badge in the attributes section.
In the My Assortment tab, you can also easily filter offers:
- with and without a wholesale price list pinned
- with the VAT rate filled in — see how to set VAT rates in offers in bulk.
Learn more about the My Assortment tab from our article.
How to check which offers qualify for sharing on Allegro Business
Go to the My Assortment tab. When you select Poland (allegro.pl) or Czechia (allegro.cz) in the market filter — you will see the visibility on Allegro Business filter. This allows you to check quickly and easily which offers we display in the Polish or Czech version of Allegro Business.
How we display the price in the offer
If you declare the VAT rate applicable in the country you dispatch the goods from, we will use it to automatically calculate the net value of the goods. We will display the net price as the main price to entrepreneurs purchasing within Allegro Business. The net price is not the basis for settlement between you and the buyer — the gross price is. However, VAT rates and net prices in offers make it easier for customers to make business purchases.
You can use the Price Converter in your offers submitted for sharing on allegro.cz. It allows you to update prices in sales currencies in the My Assortment tab with just one click. See how it works. The price is the same for regular buyers on allegro.pl and allegro.cz, and for business customers on business.allegro.pl and business.allegro.cz. You cannot set different prices.
Example
The price in an offer on allegro.pl is 123 PLN. You dispatch the order from Poland and have set a 23% VAT rate in that offer. That is why, on business.allegro.pl, we will show the 100 PLN net price as the main price, together with the 23% VAT rate and the 123 PLN gross price.
If you also share that offer on allegro.cz and use the Price Converter, the price in CZK in that offer will be 703.33 CZK (price at the moment of conversion). That is why, on business.allegro.cz, we will show the 571.81 CZK net price as the main price, together with the 23% VAT rate and the 703.33 CZK gross price.
How to buy on Allegro Business
If you want to use the options for entrepreneurs and get good deals on business purchases — learn how to buy on Allegro Business.
How to create offers dedicated only for business customers
In the listing form, you can indicate that only business account holders can buy in a given offer. Your offer will then be visible only on Allegro Business.
If you hold a business account, you can list additional offers only for entrepreneurs who make business purchases. This allows you to offer a range of products that you can only sell to companies — with an invoice.
How it works
If you want an offer to be visible only on Allegro Business — when listing it, make sure to:
- select: VAT invoice, margin VAT invoice, or non-VAT invoice in Invoice options
- select: business customers only in the Who can purchase the offer section
- for VAT invoices — complete the VAT rate.
We will then display such an offer only on Allegro Business (business.allegro.pl or business.allegro.cz).
Business offers are directed only at customers who make business purchases and request invoices. They are marked with a special badge: b2b offer.
You will see it:
- on the product list
- on the offer page.
You decide which offers will be available to all buyers — regardless of account type — and which will allow only for business purchases with an invoice.
How to make your offers available only to business customers
- Go to the listing form.
- Add invoice information and a VAT rate. Check how to do that.
- In the Who can purchase the offer section select business customers only.
- List the offer with the buy now sales format. Done!
How to make the sales commission lower for wholesale transactions
To get a discount on sales commission, you need to hold a business account, activate the program in the Discount Center, and prepare an offer accordingly — including a wholesale price list and VAT rate.
What the program is all about
If you hold an active business account, you can pay a lower wholesale commission. You just need to list an offer with a wholesale discount in which buyers buy the required number of products from the given category.
How it works
Within the program, we have set a specific threshold for each category. That is the number of units from each category that the customer has to exceed within their order for you to get a discount on the sales commission.
The threshold is the same in most categories — 5 units. You can check the thresholds for other categories in the attachment to the program terms — click to download the attachment (available only in Polish).
At the end of each month, you can check how much you have saved in the Settlements with Allegro tab on your account.
How to join the program
- Go to the wholesale discount settings.
- Accept the terms and click [join the program].
- If you do not have any wholesale discounts yet, click [add discount] and create a new one. Check how to do it step by step.
- Select offers that:
- are linked to the Allegro Product Catalog
- have the VAT rate completed.
- Add the wholesale discount to those offers.
What you can gain with the program
As a seller, you can:
- benefit from much lower sales commission for selling wholesale products
- set much more attractive unit price for wholesale purchases — and still get profits
- reach a new customer base which buys more.
As a buyer, you can:
- effectively lower your business shopping costs
- save money — thanks to wholesale price lists
- use additional filters in search results.
How you can make your wholesale discounts more attractive
In the Lower commission in wholesale transactions program, sales cost you less. You can use the amount you save this way to make your offer stand out from the other ones and offer buyers an additional discount.
Check the examples to see how you can do it.
Example 1
You offer photocopy paper for 20 PLN.
We charge you the basic sales commission of 10% for each sold unit. You add a wholesale price list for business customers to the offer.
In addition, you join the program, so we charge you only ⅕ of the basic sales commission for each sale over 5 units — that means, 2% instead of 10%. That way, on the sales commission you save:
- 0.25 PLN on 1 unit when you sell 6 units — 1.47 PLN in total
- 0.72 PLN on 1 unit when you sell 10 units — 7.20 PLN in total
- 0.85 PLN on 1 unit when you sell 15 units — 12.80 PLN in total.
If you increase your wholesale discounts for customers by the same amount you save on the sales commission within the program, you will offer them:
- a discount of 1.85 PLN instead of 1.60 PLN — that means, a discount of 9% instead of 8% for the sale of 6 units
- a discount of 2.72 PLN instead of 2.00 PLN — that means, a discount of 13% instead of 10% for the sale of 10 units
- a discount of 4.85 PLN instead of 4.00 PLN — that means, a discount of 24% instead of 20% for the sale of 15 units.
Example 2
You offer coffee for 50 PLN.
We charge you the basic sales commission of 5% for each sold unit. You add a wholesale price list for business customers to the offer.
In addition, you join the program, so we charge you only ⅕ of the basic sales commission for each sale over 5 units — that means, 1% instead of 5%. That way, on the sales commission you save:
- 0.54 PLN on 1 unit when you sell 7 units — 3.80 PLN in total
- 0.92 PLN on 1 unit when you sell 10 units — 9.20 PLN in total.
If you increase your wholesale discounts for customers by the same amount you save on the sales commission within the [program] (https://salescenter.allegro.com/b2b/discounts/wholesale-discount), you will offer them:
- a discount of 3.04 PLN instead of 2.50 PLN — that means, a discount of 6% instead of 5% for the sale of 7 units
- a discount of 4.92 PLN instead of 4.00 PLN — that means, a discount of 10% instead of 8% for the sale of 10 units.
