What the GREAT PRICE badge is

GREAT PRICE is a badge for offers with the best prices on Allegro. We grant them automatically if certain conditions are met.

If your offers stand out thanks to attractive prices — you can get a special GREAT PRICE badge. That way buyers will find your products quicker and more easily, and you will have the chance to boost your sales.

When the buyer uses the GREAT PRICE filter, your offers will appear in the search results.

How to get the GREAT PRICE badge

We will grant the GREAT PRICE badge to offers that meet all of the following requirements:

  • have the lowest price on Allegro — we check it several times a day
  • are listed from a business account with at least neutral sales quality level
  • are listed in the buy now format
  • contain products with the condition parameter New (except for categories where the Condition parameter is unavailable)
  • include Allegro Smart! delivery or free delivery option
  • have the VAT invoice option
  • are linked to the Allegro Product Catalog
  • have the dispatch time declared by the seller shorter or equal to the average in the relevant category.
What if the product price in two offers is the same

The badge will be granted to the offer with a higher number of units sold within the last 30 days. If their number of units sold is the same — we will grant the badge to the offer that was listed earlier.

You do not have to submit your offers for the GREAT PRICE badge on your own — we automatically check which offers available on Allegro meet the conditions. We do not charge you any additional fees for granting the badge.

When we may not grant you the badge

Even if your offer meets the above requirements — you may not get the badge. We also take into account the current market prices and selling trends in the categories on Allegro.

We pay attention, for example, to: seasonality, uniqueness of the product, sales potential of the product on Allegro, recognition and frequency of buyers' searches for the product, product quality (including the quality of the material from which it is made), whether the product has appropriate certificates, delivery terms, warranty period, as well as the quality of the description, images, and listing template.

We will also not grant the badge to offers:

Best Price Guarantee and the GREAT PRICE badges

Offers with the GREAT PRICE badge include cheapest products of a given type available on Allegro. In offers with the Best Price Guarantee badge, the product price is the lowest on Allegro compared to a dozen other online stores. Learn more.

The rules came into effect on October 31, 2024.

We granted the badge to offers that met all of the following requirements:

  • had the lowest price on Allegro — we check it several times a day
  • were listed from a business account with at least Neutral sales quality level
  • were listed in the buy now format
  • had the condition parameter New (except for categories where the Condition parameter is unavailable)
  • included Allegro Smart! delivery or free delivery option
  • were linked to the Allegro Product Catalog
  • contained a product offered by at least 2 different sellers. This did not apply to offers listed by sellers participating in partner programs: Brand Partner, Top Brand Partner, Strategic Partner, Allegro Diamond Partners, and Top New Joiners.

We checked the product prices several times a day. If two offers had the same price, both were awarded the badge.

Until October 31, 2024, we did not grant the badge to offers listed in the following subcategories:

What the Deal Zone is and how to get the crossed-out price badge

The Deal Zone is a special section where we present attractive offers marked with dedicated badges.

What the benefits of the crossed-out price badge are

Thanks to it, your offers will be displayed in the Deal Zone. Each buyer sees offers we have selected just for them — based mostly on their activity on Allegro. This way, you have a higher chance to reach potential customers who are interested in what you have to offer.

We display offers marked with badges on the Deal Zone page and in various Allegro sections — for example, on the home page or in other places with information on promotions.

In the Deal Zone, we also display the offers you submit for promotional programs and campaigns — for example, Allegro Days. This makes your offers even more attractive.

What you need to do to have your offers displayed in the Deal Zone

Badge types in the Deal Zone

In the Deal Zone, we display offers with a few types of badges:

  • fixed — the Deal badge we grant automatically
  • periodic — we re-run them periodically, such as Allegro Days
  • seasonal — we launch them during a given season, such as Smart! Week or Black Week.

The Deal badge

Within the Deal badge, we display the percentage of an offer price discount. We calculate it in relation to the lowest price of a product in that offer in the last 30 days before the discount. That price is displayed crossed out.

What offers we grant this badge to

We automatically grant the Deal badge to offers that:

  • include a new product — we do not grant the Deal badge to products for which the Condition parameter is not available
  • have had their product price reduced by at least 5%, but no more than 60%, compared to the lowest price in that offer in the last 30 days
  • have been active on Allegro for at least 24 hours — we can determine the lowest price in the last 30 days only after that period
  • are not listed in one of the categories excluded from the campaign
  • have not been excluded from the campaign because we found them unattractive — to determine that, we mostly take the price and sales performance into account. For example, we check the difference between the offer price and the lowest price of a given product on Allegro. We also look at the offer's sales results, popularity, and buyers' interest. We exclude such offers because we want to show buyers attractive products at reasonable prices and ensure the value of the Deal badge.

Other restrictions on promoting offers in a given marketplace still apply. It means that the badge will not be available, among others, in offers of sellers who have been barred from participating in campaigns, or in offers with medical devices on allegro.pl, for which sellers have not completed the required consents.

How long we display the Deal badge

We will display the Deal badge in your offer for a maximum of 30 days. If the offer no longer meets the badge conditions due to a change within this period, we will stop displaying the badge.

Example
  1. You update the price of your offer to 10 PLN. The lowest price of this offer in the last 30 days is 11.10 PLN, so the discount equals about 10%.
  2. On April 5, we automatically grant this offer the Deal badge for 30 days — until May 5.
  3. On April 15, you update the price of this offer to 9.80 PLN. The current lowest price of this offer in the last 30 days is 10 PLN, so the discount equals 2%.
  4. Your offer no longer meets the conditions of the Deal badge, so we stop displaying it even though 30 days have not passed yet.
