How it works now
On Allegro, you can list products of protected brands if:
- you hold a business account
- you confirm that you are familiar with the Brand Protection Conditions
- you ship orders from the European Economic Area.

- we will clarify that the ban on selling protected brands does not apply to sellers whose account is registered with details of an entity residing or with a fixed establishment in Great Britain or Switzerland (non-EEA countries)

What DAC7 is about
DAC7 — the Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 of March 22, 2021 — is a legal act that improves reporting mechanisms between EU member states. It highlights income from sales on online trading platforms that operate in the EU — such as Allegro or Allegro Lokalnie.
On July 1, 2024, the provisions of the Act (available in Polish) implementing the directive in Poland came into effect. The Act requires us to collect, verify, and report information about you and your sales to the tax authorities — if you exceed a specified sales threshold on Allegro or Allegro Lokalnie.
What the change to the T&C will consist of
- We will update the Allegro Privacy protection policy: the DAC7 regulations oblige us to process the personal details of sellers, including the taxpayer's Tax Identification Number (TIN). Consequently, we will add another purpose of processing personal details.
- We will also include in the Terms & Conditions sanctions that may be imposed on sellers who fail to provide us with the details required by the DAC7 regulations — this will be one of the reasons to withdraw from the agreement with sellers.

We will extend the scope of the Professional and Expert Subscription and update the rules for using banners on the product page and list of offers
From: August 19, 2024
If you have the Professional or Expert Subscription, you will take advantage of a new option — we will automatically update prices in those of your offers in foreign marketplaces where you enabled the Price Converter. We will do it each time the reference exchange rate of the currencies, announced by the European Central Bank on the day before the day of the currency conversion, changes by at least 1%.
The prices of Subscriptions will not change.
At the same time, we will update the rules for using banners on the product page and list of offers— they cannot imitate badges we grant sellers within programs such as the Super Seller program.

We will offer a new UPS delivery option from Poland to Slovakia
From: August 19, 2024
You will enable the new delivery options:
- Allegro UPS Courier Slovakia
- Allegro UPS Courier Slovakia payment on delivery
on a business account. You will dispatch parcels through our free tool — Ship with Allegro — or through integrating external tools (for example, Baselinker) with the Ship with Allegro API.
On allegro.sk, the new delivery option will be:
- available for buyers within Smart!
- on the list of delivery options that qualify for the Smart! badge — for sellers who dispatch parcels from Poland to Slovakia.
Send your request to the address: allegroumowy@ups.com. Your email should contain:
- your Allegro login
- company name
- company address: street, building and apartment number, postal code, city
- pick-up address: street, building and apartment number, postal code, city
- phone number of the person who handles parcel dispatches
- the time by which someone is always present at the pick-up address or the time your company closes (the courier arrival time depends on your postal code)
- a minimum of 3 days of the week (from Monday to Friday) when the courier will come to collect parcels
- estimated number of parcels within a pick-up
- estimated parcel dimensions
- preferred pick-up time
- note for the courier (optional).
Hand over to the courier at least 4 parcels per pick-up. You can also hand over parcels with delivery within Poland — the total number of parcels sums up.
UPS will confirm by email that the pick-up order has been activated.

The maximum price you can set in the delivery price list for that delivery option is:
- 18.99 PLN on allegro.pl
- 3.49 EUR on allegro.sk.
The maximum price for the Allegro UPS Courier Slovakia POD option is 4.49 EUR on allegro.sk.
Maximum actual or dimensional weight: 31.5 kg. We calculate the dimensional weight with the following formula: width in cm x length in cm x height in cm / 5,000.
Maximum dimensions:
- the longest side — 100 cm.
- the second longest side — 76 cm
- the sum of side length (2x width + 2x height + length) = 300 cm.
The price of the service includes parcel insurance up to 2,000 PLN. Declare the insurance amount while dispatching the parcel. You cannot buy extra insurance.
You can file a complaint:
- directly with the carrier ― if the parcel was damaged or lost
- with our help — if the complaint concerns the delivery fee or the additional service fee, as well as when the parcel was damaged or lost.

We will update the Allegro Ads Terms & Conditions
From: August 19, 2024
We will update the provisions regarding display ads and Ads Express.
Display ads
We are committed to making display ads relevant and as helpful to buyers as possible. That is why we will add a new provision obliging advertisers to create display ads that will not:
- be misleading
- redirect to websites other than Allegro
- contain promotional information (such as deal, cheap, only at our store, sale, best price, etc.)
- indicate percentage and amount discounts.
Ads Express
Ads Express allows you to easily enable ads — without signing in to the Allegro Ads dashboard. The tool automatically selects the best offers and advertises the ones with the best chance of selling. Ads can be displayed in the Allegro advertising space and outside it. Ads are displayed in external spaces through Google.
On August 19, we will disable the option of selecting whether a given ad is displayed only on Allegro pages or also outside Allegro. It will not be possible to resign from displaying ads on Google. That will allow us to simplify the Ads Express form even further and make it coherent with the offer advertising option in the listing form. In addition, by displaying ads on Allegro and Google, you can increase their audience.
This change will not increase the budget you set while creating a campaign.

We will clarify how our recommendation system works

We display offers, products, and classifieds based on a recommendation system. It accounts for factors like the offer title, how many times the offer has been viewed by buyers, the number of purchases made in it, and so on.
What we will change
- We will clarify the description of the two-stage recommendation system and the meaning of each factor.
- We will add, for example, the product condition or the number of seller’s positive ratings to the factors affecting the order of offers, classifieds, and products you see in recommendations.

We will update the rules regarding images, registration, and product sets, and introduce editorial changes

We will tag images from the Product Catalog edited with the use of artificial intelligence
We use artificial intelligence to edit images in the Allegro Product Catalog. We will tag such images with a Created with an AI watermark.
Consequently, we will include this exception in the Terms & Conditions (as a rule, captions are not allowed on images placed in offers).

We will limit the number of offers that you can list on a new account within 30 days of listing the first offer
You can list a maximum of 20,000 offers on a newly created account.
We will increase that limit to 200,000 offers if — within 30 days of listing the first offer on the newly created account — you:
- maintain Neutral or higher sales quality level
- do not violate the provisions of the Terms & Conditions regarding linking offers to the Allegro Product Catalog and adding products to the Catalog
- keep using the correct EANs (GTINs) in your offers.
If you do not meet the requirements listed above on this account — the limit of 20,000 offers will remain. We will check again in another 30 days to see if you meet the requirements for changing the limit to a higher one.
How to create another business account with the same tax identification number.

We will update the rules for listing product sets
We will clarify that you can only list a single product within one offer — unless you use the product set option. It is available in the listing form and the API.
If the Allegro Product Catalog contains a set created by the manufacturer — you do not need to add every element of that set as a separate product. Sets created by the manufacturer should come with an EAN (GTIN) or manufacturer's code.

Allegro Lokalnie: we will clarify the provisions regarding features available for classifieds
We will include in the Terms & Conditions that the same features — Komfortowe (Comfort) and Premium — are available for the buy now and free classifieds on Allegro Lokalnie.
In classifieds with auctions, you can only select the Komfortowe (Comfort) feature.
How to feature a classified ad on Allegro Lokalnie.

We will introduce editorial changes to Appendix No. 4 to the Allegro Terms & Conditions (Fees and sales commissions)
- We will change the names of certain subcategories with accessories to Accessories. For example, the current category: Skiing and Snowboarding Accessories will have a shorter name — Accessories.
- We will simplify the layout of Appendix No. 4: at the beginning of it, we will place general provisions that apply to all marketplaces. They will be followed by provisions specific to individual marketplaces.
Those changes will not affect the fee rates.

This will not apply to classifieds from the following categories:
- Nieruchomości (Real Estate)
- Samochody (Cars)
- Motocykle i quady (Motorcycles and Quads)
- Maszyny (Machinery)
- Przyczepy, naczepy (Trailers, Semitrailers)
- Inne pojazdy i łodzie (Other Vehicles and Boats).
Classifieds from those categories will still be displayed on Allegro Lokalnie and Allegro. In addition, some classifieds may also be visible in selected spaces on Allegro (outside Allegro Lokalnie).

Smart! in foreign marketplaces: we will require a payment on delivery option
From: October 1, 2024
Customers from Czechia and Slovakia like to pay for orders on delivery. Your offers in those marketplaces will be Smart! only if you enable at least one POD option.
Our research shows that 44% of Czech and 53% of Slovak buyers use payment on delivery — and that is the payment method they prefer. For comparison — in Poland it is only 6%! Czechs like to pay on delivery with both cash and card — even if they use parcel lockers. That is why we will introduce a new requirement for the Smart! badge on allegro.cz and allegro.sk in the coming months. Your offers will be Smart! in those marketplaces only if you enable at least one POD option.

We will change the name of the WE|DO delivery options to One by Allegro
From October 1, 2024
On October 1, we will change the name of the WE|DO delivery options to One by Allegro (the WE|DO brand belongs to Allegro Retail). We are gradually updating that name across Allegro in relation to that change. On October 1, we will also change it in our Terms & Conditions — in delivery options within Czechia.

We will update the Terms & Conditions of payment operators
From: October 1, 2024
Allegro Finance is — together with PayU and Przelewy24 — one of the payment operators on Allegro.
On October 1, we will introduce to the Allegro Finance Terms & Conditions (Appendix 7(c)) provisions similar to the ones already included in the Terms & Conditions of other payment operators. Those provisions will, among others, concern:
- rules and conditions for providing services
- handling payments in different currencies and currency conversion
- frequency of sales funds payouts
- payout delays
- identification procedure
- personal data processing.
We will also update the Terms & Conditions of other payment operators:
- PayU — we will add information about the frequency of payouts in HUF
- Przelewy24 — we will add provisions concerning withdrawal from the agreement between PayPro (Przelewy24) and the seller.
