Magyar Posta delivery options
Magyar Posta — a mandatory delivery option within Hungary
If you dispatch orders within Hungary, you need to fulfill specific legal requirements. Check if they apply to you and what you need to do.
Since March 28, 2024, all e-commerce businesses in Hungary have been required by law to use the services of Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) in domestic deliveries.
This means that sellers on Allegro, who:
- are based in Hungary and
- dispatch orders within Hungary
need to include the Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) delivery options in their shipping price lists for the Hungarian marketplace. This law does not apply to cross-border sales.
How to add Magyar Posta to your shipping price lists
- Go to Delivery Settings.
- Click [edit] next to the shipping price lists and choose the delivery direction — dispatch from: Hungary and to Hungary.
- In the Settlements with the carrier section, select the Magyar Posta delivery option.
- Complete the delivery costs in the relevant fields. The costs of Magyar Posta services are fixed and available on their website.
- Click [save]. Done!
