Allegro Ads: we have increased the minimum CPC rates for Sponsored offers appearing on the search result list on allegro.pl
On allegro.pl, we have increased the minimum Cost Per Click — CPC — rates for Sponsored offers that appear on the search result list.
At the same time, we have separated the minimum CPC rates based on the display location. This means that the minimum rates for Sponsored offers that we display in other locations (for example, on the product page) have stayed the same.
We have introduced this change automatically — you do not need to take any action. If you want to end the ongoing campaigns, you can do it based on the current rules.

What it means for you
- The minimum click rates will vary depending on where the Sponsored offer is displayed. The rate increase applies only apply to the search result list.
- Starting February 16, you cannot to set the CPC rates for the search result list lower than those provided in the table. For the ad groups that use the Dynamic CPC strategy — the average CPC goal must be at least 25% higher than the minimum CPC.
- If you have an ad group for which the current rate is lower than the new minimum — for that group, we will automatically set the rates on the new minimum level.
See examples
- You have an ad group in the Electronics category for which you selected display locations:
- until February 15, you could set at least 0.65 PLN per click for that ad group
- starting February 16, you can set at least 0.75 PLN per click.
- You have an ad group for which you use the Dynamic CPC strategy. It is in the Health category, and the display location is search results:
- until February 15, you could set at least 0.81 PLN as the average CPC goal — it is 25% more than the minimum CPC for the Health category
- starting February 16, you can set at least 1.00 PLN for that category.
- You have an ad group in the Electronics category, with the selected display locations: product page, left column, and remaining display locations, that is, without the search result list:
- until February 15, you could set at least 0.65 PLN per click for that ad group
- starting February 16, 2026, you can to set at least 0.65 PLN per click, because the display locations for this ad group do not include the search result list.

What else we have changed
We have updated the Allegro Ads Terms & Conditions:
- we have clarified the way of settling for ads: if you cooperate with the Allegro Ads Partner Program agency, you will always be the payer paying for Allegro Ads services. Before, the agency could choose the payer (it can be the agency or the seller). This will help you manage your Allegro Ads fees — you can check them in in the Settlements with Allegro tab
- we will have the right to put on hold ads that can be considered political.
We have extended the list of protected brands
On Allegro, you can list offers with products of protected brands if you have a business account, confirm that you know the Brand Protection Conditions, and act according to them.

We have added new products to the forbidden and restricted goods list
We have added the following to Appendix No. 1 (Forbidden and restricted Goods):
- psychomodulatory substances — with a total ban on sales
- medical devices intended for professional use only — with a total ban on sales
- cosmetic and fragrance samples marked as not for sale — we will allow these exclusively as a free gift with the purchase of other products.
If you have not terminated offers with those products by today (February 16), we can do it for you.

You will dispatch parcels with the Poczta Polska delivery options at all types of post offices — including postal agencies and branches
How it worked before
If you dispatched a parcel through Ship with Allegro and selected the Poczta Polska delivery options, you could only hand the parcel over at a Poczta Polska office.
What we have changed
Soon, you will be able to dispatch parcels through Ship with Allegro at all types of post offices — including the Poczta Polska postal agencies and branches. Your buyers will also be able to dispatch returns at those locations.
What it means for you
This change will make dispatching parcels handled by Poczta Polska even more convenient. Sellers will no longer need to check whether a given Poczta Polska location is a post office or a postal agency. You will be able to select any Poczta Polska location to hand over your parcel.

We have extended the list of categories in which a white background in the thumbnail is not required
How it works
A thumbnail(the image that you set first in the listing form) showcases the product on a white background. In selected subcategories, the background can also be light grey and uniform.
What we have changed
We have added following subcategories to the list of subcategories in which you can use thumbnails with a light grey background:
- Fashion — Jewelry and Watches
- Fashion ― Haberdashery and Accessories
- Fashion — Backpacks
- Sports and Travel — Backpacks.
What it means for you
- Listing offer has become easier — you have more options for adding the available images without having to edit them.
- We have adjusted our rules to the standards you already know with from the clothing industry.

We can use artificial intelligence to verify offer quality
The good quality of offers on Allegro is our highest priority — we verify their truthfulness, aesthetics, and clarity. We have added a provision stating that we can use AI-based tools to verify offer quality.
These tools will allow us to identify errors in the content of your offer and suggest what you need to correct. By doing so, we can reduce the risk of buyers resigning from the purchase. However, if a given offer does not meet our quality requirements, we may reject listing it.

We have clarified the provision about sorting search results by product rating
Buyers can select from several sorting options on the product list. One of them is product rating: highest.
What we have changed
We have updated the description of that option and clarify that, in addition to the product's highest rating, we also consider the number and type of ratings (the ratio of positive to negative ratings) and their recency.
This has allowed us to present better results on the product list and support sellers who offer a high-quality assortment.
What it means for you
- Products that regularly get positive opinions will gain a more stable and higher position on the list.
- As we consider the number of ratings and their recency, a single negative rating will not significantly lower your product's position on the list as easily as it does now.
- Your customers can find verified, high-quality products more quickly. This increases your chances of making a sale.

What we have changed in the Allegro Privacy protection policy
In the Appendix No. 5 to the Allegro Terms & Conditions, we have added information that:
- we can show you our ads commissioned by advertisers cooperating with us based on the data you provided (like email address or phone number)
- we can display ads in the Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited advertising spaces — based on the personal data you provided
- we can use features based on AI systems or models to process your personal data
- we can also obtain and process the data related to citizenship — because some financial services we offer depend on that
- we will begin using the ThreatMetrix system by Lexisnexis Risk Solutions (EUROPE) Limited to enhance security on Allegro.
We have introduced stylistic and editorial changes.
Basis: enhancing the protection of Users’ privacy, improving the operation of the platform and the buyer and seller service, preventing misuse, and editorial changes (sub-paragraphs 14.1 (e,d,g,k) of the Allegro Terms & Conditions).
What we have changed in the Allegro Finance Privacy protection policy
- We have added provisions related to using features based on AI systems or models.
- We have started to use the ThreatMetrix system by Lexisnexis Risk Solutions (EUROPE) Limited to enhance security on Allegro.
Basis: expanding the scope of the service to include new features (sub-paragraph 7.1 (e) of the Allegro Finance Terms & Conditions).
What we have changed in the Allegro Pay privacy protection policy
- We have updated our list of information sources to include national registers. We have added the feature allowing to retrieve company data from the CEIDG register and confirm identity via the mObywatel app. Data is collected automatically, accelerating the financing approval process and removing the possibility of manual mistakes in forms.
Basis: section 14, sub-paragraph 2(5), of the Allegro Pay Terms & Conditions.
- We have included information that we can use features based on AI systems or models to process your personal data.
Basis: section 14, sub-paragraph 2(4) of the Allegro Pay Terms & Conditions.
- We have clarified the data processing rules within Allegro Capital — the new financing service for businesses. We have determined that Allegro and Allegro Pay are jointly the controllers of your personal data.

- We have supplemented the scope of personal data that we process within the new service: Allegro Capital. We have specified which data (for example: NIP number, PKD code, Allegro account history, or marital status) is analyzed when assessing the credit score of businesses. We have also updated the legal basis for data processing in the case of loans related to the business activity you run.

Allegro Prices: we have clarified the rules for settling the sales commission when you grant a discount
What the Allegro Prices program is all about
If you participate in the program, some of your offers may qualify for a temporary automatic price reduction. For each 1 PLN of discount you grant, we reduce your price by additional 2 PLN. In return, we will give you compensation equal to the discount value.
What we have changed
In the Terms & Conditions, we have stated that we will not charge sales commission on the discount you fund.
Example: The price of your offer is 100 PLN. You declare a 5% discount, so the price is reduced by 5 PLN, and we reduce it by an additional 10 PLN. The price after the discount is 85 PLN. We grant you a 10 PLN sales commission discount as compensation. We charge the sales commission on 95 PLN (100 PLN - 5 PLN of your discount), and not from the initial 100 PLN.
What it means for you
If you decide to reduce the price, your sales commission will drop proportionally to your discount.

We have specified the rules for granting transaction rebates
If you sell a product but the transaction is not completed, you can apply for a sales commission refund — that is, a transaction rebate. We grant it in specified cases.
Following the change that separates the complaint process from Discussions, you do not receive a refund of the charged sales commission if your customer files a complaint for non-conformity of goods with the agreement and/or under warranty (for example, due to a missing component or product damage) and your sales quality rating is below Neutral.
What we have changed
We have updated the Terms & Conditions to include this change. The Terms & Conditions have become more precise, and you know exactly when you can get a transaction rebate. See how to do that.

We have changed the rules for handling baseless reports and complaints
We are committed to providing the highest standard of service to both buyers and sellers. That is why we are introducing transparent rules concerning baseless reports and complaints. Those rules are based on the Digital Services Act.
You can find them in the Terms & Conditions as a new appendix — Appendix No. 23 (Procedure for suspending processing of baseless reports and complaints on the Allegro platform).
What we have changed
The new procedure applies exclusively to situations involving the frequent submission of clearly baseless reports and complaints — specifically those which:
- are not justified
- are submitted often (for example, automatically or by bots)
- purposely harm other buyers or sellers.
There are three stages of dealing with such reports.
- Our employees verify reports and complaints.
- We send warnings to persons who submit a minimum of 100 groundless reports per month (in particular cases, we may send a warning to a person who submits fewer such reports).
- If the warning brings no effect, we may decide to suspend processing such reports for up to 6 months.
We will send a warning and information regarding the temporary suspension of report processing via email or as an Allegro notification.
What it means for you
- We are able to help you faster — reducing the number of baseless reports will give us more capacity to process your queries.
- We can prevent misuse more effectively — by limiting the activity of persons and bots that act to harm buyers and sellers on purpose.
- We ensure even greater objectivity and reliability — we will thoroughly analyze every decision regarding a potential suspension; we will issue warnings.

Allegro Smart!: we have extended the list of countries to which we enable returns
We have extended the list of countries to which we enable returns within Smart! service.
If you accept returns in a country other than the country from which you dispatch products — your offers will have a chance to earn the Smart! badge. This will apply to the following countries: Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary (for example, you dispatch products from Poland, but accept returns in Czechia).
What it means for you
