Signing in
How to sign in to your account with a phone number
Check how easy and fast you can sign in to your Allegro account with your phone number!
You can sign in with your phone number if you:
- enable this option in your account details
- provide a phone number in your account details
- do not use the phone number you have provided in your account details to sign in to another account
- have not enabled the two-factor authentication.
How to enable signing in with a phone number
- Sign in to your account and go to the Sign-in and Password tab.
- In the Phone Sign-in section, click [enable].
- Then, we will send you an SMS code to the phone number associated with your account. Enter the code, and we will automatically turn on signing in with a phone number on your account.
From now on, you will see the option to sign in with your phone number every time you want to sign in.
How to change the phone number you sign in with
If you have already enabled signing in with your phone number, and you want to change the number, disable the Phone Sign-in in the Sign-in and Password tab. Then, change your phone number in the Account Details tab. Next, enable signing in with your phone number again.
How to enable signing in with a face or fingerprint scan in the Allegro app
You can sign in to the Allegro app using with a face or fingerprint scan. Learn how to do it.
If your device has a face recognition or fingerprint scanner feature (so-called biometric data recognition), you can sign in to the Allegro app with them.
How to enable signing in with biometric data in the app
You can do it in two ways:
- Sign in with your username and password. Next, enable signing in with biometric data in a pop-up window.
- Open the Konto (Account) tab in Moje Allegro (My Allegro). In the Dane biometryczne (Biometric data) section, click [zmień] (change) and enable signing in with the biometric data.
What is two-factor authentication and why you should use it
Two-factor authentication is an additional security measure for your Allegro account. Apart from entering the password, you also need to enter an SMS code that you will receive.
Two-factor authentication is an additional layer of protection for your account against being accessed by other people.
How two-factor authentication works
When you sign in, we will ask you to:
- enter the password to your Allegro account
- enter the code which you can:
- get through the SMS
- generate in the mobile app.
Two-factor authentication and signing in with a phone number
You will not enable two-factor authentication if you have enabled phone number sign-in.
How to enable two-factor authentication with SMS
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication tab and click [Let's go].
- Choose SMS as the way you want to receive your codes. Then, click [next].
- Provide the phone number to which you will get the SMS codes. Once you assign a phone number to your account — you can select it from the list or enter a new one. Next, click [send code].
- Enter the SMS code.
- Click [enable]. Done!
How to enable two-factor authentication through the mobile app
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication tab and click [Let's go].
- Choose that you want to use the app to generate the codes. Then, click [next].
- Choose the device on which you want to generate the codes. Then, click [next].
If you are using this device — we will recognize it immediately. Then, we will redirect you to the window with a QR code.
- Open the app to generate the codes and scan the QR code. If you cannot scan it, click Show code and enter it in the app. Then, click [next].
- Enter the code from the app.
Click [enable].
For security reasons, also provide a phone number to which you want to receive a text message with the code when you cannot access the app. If that phone number is already assigned to your account — you can select it from the list or enter a new one. Next, click [send code].
Enter the code from the text message you receive.
Done!
How to disable two-factor authentication
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication tab.
- Next to the Two-factor authentication is enabled message, click [disable].
- Confirm your identity. Done!
Do you need to enter the code at each sign-in attempts
No. Just add a device to trusted devices. You can do it in the Two-Factor Authentication tab or while signing in. When you access your account from a trusted device, you do not need to enter the code.
Recognizing a trusted device is based on the browser you use. If you clear your browser's cookies or change its settings — we will not recognize the trusted device, so you will need to enter the code again. You will also need the code when you use the incognito mode.
How to add a trusted device in the Two-Factor Authentication tab
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication tab on a device you want to add to trusted devices.
- In the Trusted devices section click [add to trusted].
How to add a trusted device while signing-in
When you sign in to your Allegro account on a device you want to make a trusted one, select Do not ask for a code on this device.
How to change the phone number for the two-factor authentication purposes
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication tab.
- In the SMS section click [change settings].
- Next to the phone number, click [change phone number].
- Provide the new phone number and click [send code].
- Enter the code you get to the provided phone number.
- Click [change phone number]. Done!
I have problems with signing in — what should I do?
Check what you can do if you cannot sign in to your account.
If you cannot sign in
- Check if you enter the correct login, email, phone number and password. Make sure you have not accidentally pressed the Caps Lock key (so you don't write with capital letters) or Ctrl+Shift (which switches the y and z keys).
- Check if the problem is not caused by the browser you use. Perhaps, you have a new password, but your browser remembers the old one. If that is the case — check the password management settings in your browser.
- If you forgot your password — check how you can change or reset it.

When signing in to the Allegro app
If you are signing in to the Allegro app and you enter wrong data, you will see a message: Invalid login, email, or password.
If you enter wrong data five times, the Allegro app will be blocked. We will automatically unblock your Allegro account when you sign in with the correct data using a browser. You can use the browser on your mobile device or computer.
When signing in to the Allegro account in the browser
If you are signing in to the Allegro account in the browser and you enter wrong data, you will see a message: Invalid login, email, or password.
If you enter wrong data five times, we will display a message: A captcha solution is required. Click the reCaptcha sign in the bottom right corner and complete the task:
If you successfully complete the task, we will give you the possibility to re-enter your data. If you complete the task with some errors, reCaptcha will show you new tasks until you provide a correct solution.
If you do not complete the task, the sign in form will remain inactive. The [sign in] button will be grayed out. To reactivate the button, refresh the sign-in page.
If you enter wrong sign-in data, you will see the reCaptcha security even when you enter your login and password correctly. When you complete the task, you can sign in to your account.
How to sign in to Allegro with Google or Facebook account
You can log in to Allegro even faster using your Google or Facebook account. Learn how to link your accounts on social networks with Allegro.
If you have a Google or Facebook account, you can link it to your Allegro account. This way, signing in to Allegro becomes even easier. To do so, open the sign in page and click [Continue with Google] or [Continue with Facebook]. To sign in, use the Google email address you used to register your Allegro account.
When you sign in to your Google or Facebook account, we will ask you to confirm you want to link the accounts. If the first or last name on your Facebook or Google account is different than on your Allegro account, we will also ask you to enter the password to your Allegro account.
Done! From now on, you can sign in to Allegro with your Google or Facebook account.
You can unlink the accounts any time in the Social media accounts tab.
