What sign-in methods you can use
To sign in to Allegro, you can use:

- password and phone number — if you do not use two-factor authentication
- Google, Facebook, or Apple account — if you use the same email address there and on Allegro

- passkey.
If you use two-factor authentication, we may also require additional confirmation with a single-use code. Learn more about two-factor authentication.
How to sign in with a password and username or email address
Using your username or email address and password is the default sign-in method. To do it, simply go to the sign-in page, enter that information in the appropriate fields, and click [sign in].
How to sign in with a phone number
To sign in with a phone number, you need to enable this option in your account settings first. You can only do it if you:
- do not use that phone number to sign in to another Allegro account
- have not enabled two-factor authentication.
How to enable signing in with a phone number
- Go to the Sign-in and Password tab and find the Phone Sign-in section.
- Check if you have provided your current phone number there. If not, click the link below the number to change it.
- If the number is up-to-date, click [enable].
- We will send you an SMS code to that phone number. Use it to complete the empty fields. Done!
From now on, we will display the [disable] button in the Phone Sign-in section. Use it to turn off this sign-in method on your account.
Sign in with a phone number
- Open the sign-in page and click [use contact number].
- Enter the phone number associated with your Allegro account and click [sign in].
- Enter the single-use SMS code.
- Click [confirm code].
How to change the phone number you sign in with

- Click [edit] below the phone number and provide a new number.
- Follow the instructions above to enable phone sign-in again.
How to sign in with a Google, Facebook, or Apple account
If you registered your Allegro account with the same email address as your Google, Facebook, or Apple account, you can link them together. This will allow you to quickly sign in to Allegro using the [continue with Google], [continue with Facebook], or [continue with Apple] button.
How to enable sign-in with a Google, Facebook, or Apple account
- Open the sign-in page and select [continue with Google], [continue with Facebook], or [continue with Apple].
- Sign in to the selected service and confirm you want to link the accounts. Use the same email address you registered your Allegro account with.
If you sign in with an email address that is not associated with any account on Allegro — we will redirect you to new account registration. We will also do it if you decide to hide your email address in the Apple form — this prevents us from accessing the information we need to link your Allegro account to Apple.
- Click [link accounts] to confirm.
- If the first and last name on your Facebook, Google, or Apple account is different than on your Allegro account, we will also ask you to enter the password to your Allegro account in the next field.
- Done! Now, you can quickly sign in to Allegro using the [continue with Google], [continue with Facebook], or [continue with Apple] button.
You can unlink the accounts at any time in the Social media accounts tab.
How to sign in with a fingerprint or face scan
If your device has a face recognition or fingerprint scanning feature, you can sign in with biometric data. This sign-in method is currently available only in the Allegro app for Android.
How to enable signing in with biometric data
- Open the Allegro app and click [My Allegro] at the bottom of the screen.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Find the Biometric data option in the Safety section. Click [change] next to it.
- Move the slider next to the Sign-in option to enable signing in with biometric data.
- For security reasons, enter your password and login or email address to confirm your identity.
- Use a fingerprint or face scan to confirm the new sign-in method. Done!
You can disable signing in with biometric data in the same place. Just move the slider next to the Sign-in option to the opposite side.
How to sign in with a passkey
A passkey is a secure sign-in method that does not require you to create a separate password. You will sign in to Allegro the same way you unlock your device — for example, with a fingerprint, face scan, or PIN.
How it works
When you set the passkey, we will create a secure connection between your Allegro account and the device you use. During the sign-in, you just unlock the device with the set sign-in method, confirming your identity that way.
Most of the verification takes place locally on your device. All we receive is the confirmation that you succeeded. We do not access your data, such as PIN, fingerprint, or face scan. You get improved security and convenience.
When you can use the passkeys
To sign in with a passkey, you need:
- an up-to-date version of one of the popular browsers, for example, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Microsoft Edge
- a secure program to store passkeys, such as Apple Keychain or Google Password Manager — such programs are often installed by default by the device manufacturer.
How to enable signing in with a passkey
- Go to the Passkeys tab. You will find it in your account settings, in the Safety section.
- Click [create passkey].
- You will see a new window with a few options to choose from. They can differ depending on the operating system and the device you use. To create a new passkey, follow the instructions in that window.
- If you managed to create a passkey, you will see it in the Passkeys tab. There, we will display information about when the passkey was created, and which program on your device has access to it.
Done! From that moment, you can sign in to Allegro the same way you unlock your device.
What you gain using a passkey with two-factor authentication
When you sign in with a passkey, we do not need any additional confirmation. We will not ask you for it within the two-factor authentication — even if you have enabled that option on your account.
However, we will not change the two-factor authentication settings on your account. If, after providing the passkey, you want to sign in with a different method, we will ask you for a confirmation, as always.
How to disable the passkey sign-in and remove the passkey from the device
To securely disable that sign-in method, remove the passkey both from your Allegro account, and your device. If you remove the passkey only from your Allegro settings, your device can still suggest it as an available sign-in method, even though it will no longer work.
How to remove a passkey from your device
Detailed instructions depend on your passkey storage program. You will see its name in the Passkeys tab. Examples of such programs include Google Password Manager and Apple iCloud Keychain.
After checking the program's name, search for it on your device. Go to its settings and remove the chosen passkey for signing-in to Allegro.
How to remove the passkeys from your Allegro account
- Go to the Passkeys tab.
- Click [remove] next to the chosen passkey on the list.
- In the new window, click [yes, remove] to confirm your decision.
