Charging sales fees
How is the sales commission calculated
The amount of sales commission depends on several factors - including the price of the product and the category in which it was listed.
What the sales commission amount depends on
The sales commission amount is not the same for all offers. It depends on:
- the final price for which you sell the product — that is the highest bid in an auction or the buy now price
- the category in which you list a given product
- the number of products sold in a given offer — in multi-product offers, multiply the sales commission for 1 unit by the number of sold units
- whether the buyer pays for the delivery.
When charging the sales commission amount, apart from the price of the product, we will also take into account its delivery cost. If the buyer does not pay for the delivery — because it costs 0 PLN or the purchase is made within Allegro Smart! — we will not add its cost to the sales commission amount.
If the buyer makes a purchase within Allegro Smart! and selects the POD option — they will pay 4.99 PLN for each parcel in the order. We will take it into account while charging the sales commission.
Example — selling one product with Allegro Smart! delivery
You sell a product worth 100 PLN from a category covered by a 6% sales commission. Your customer chooses delivery to a pick-up point within Allegro Smart! The 6% sales commission of 100 PLN is therefore 6 PLN. The delivery option selected by the buyer is free of charge — that is why the sales commission will include only the product cost.
Example — selling multiple products in one transaction
You sell a product worth 100 PLN from a category covered by the 6% sales commission together with a product worth 50 PLN from a category covered with the 8% sales commission. For those two products, your customer chooses delivery for 18 PLN. The delivery cost will be divided between the purchased products 9 PLN each. The 6% sales commission of 109 PLN is 6.54 PLN. The 8% sales commission of 59 PLN is 4.72 PLN.
When we charge the sales commission
We charge the sales commission at the moment when the customer makes a purchase in your offer — that means when they win an auction or use the buy now option. We round up the sales commission to 0.01 PLN.
Sales commission in featured offers
If you sell a product in an offer with the active Feature, Flexible Feature, or Promo Package — we will charge an additional sales commission. Check the details.
Categories
We do not charge the sales commission in the following categories: Cars, Motorcycles and Quads, Other Vehicles and Boats, Trailers, Semitrailers, Construction Machines, Real Estate, Services, Vacations, and Live Animals. It means that in those categories you will only pay for listing an offer.

Use the fee and commission calculator to quickly and easily calculate the exact sales commission amount that applies in a given category. If you are using external tools to manage your sales — you can check fee rates through the API.
What transaction rebate (sales commission refund) you will get if the buyer returns a part of the order
If the buyer returns a part of the order and you meet the conditions, we will grant you a transaction rebate for the returned products and the appropriate share of delivery costs.
Example
You sell a product worth 100 PLN from a category covered by the 6% sales commission together with a product worth 50 PLN from a category covered with the 8% sales commission. For those two products, your customer chooses delivery for 18 PLN. The delivery cost is distributed between the purchased items at 9 PLN each. The 6% sales commission of 109 PLN is 6.54 PLN. The 8% sales commission of 59 PLN is 4.72 PLN. However, the buyer returns the first product — that is why we grant you a 6.54 PLN transaction rebate.
How will you return the sales commission of delivery costs and can I request the return of that sales commission only?
Since we charge one sales commission — we do not separate it into the part of the product value and the part of delivery costs. Therefore, if you request a transaction rebate (sales commission refund), it will apply to the entire sales commission for a given transaction, not a part of its cost. You can request the transaction rebate (sales commission refund) under the existing rules.
How do you calculate the sales commission for promoted offers?
We will add the commission for promoting the offer to the final sales commission amount (including delivery costs). Check how we calculate the commission.
How and at what point do you charge the sales commission for auctions?
The sales commission amount depends on the final price of the product you sell and the delivery option selected by the buyer. In the case of auctions, the buyer is obliged to complete the delivery form and pay for the order within 7 days. If they fail to do this, we will charge the sales commission only for the product, excluding delivery costs.
Where will I find information about the sales commission for sold products?
You can check that on your account — in the Operations History section of the Settlements with Allegro tab.
Will the calculator calculate the sales commission together with delivery costs?
The fee and commission calculator will help you calculate the listing fee and the sales commission. The quote presented will be for orders with free delivery.

When we charge the fees
We will charge the first fee in advance for the first cycle the moment you start promoting. If an offer is still active after the first billing cycle ends, we will charge you for another cycle after:
- one day – for Flexible Feature and Promo Package
- 10 days – for Feature and Promotion on the category page.

What if I do not want to be charged the promotion fee for another cycle
If you do not want to be charged with the promotion fee for the next cycle, disable offer promotion. You can do it with an immediate effect or plan the offer promotion to be disabled when the current billing period ends. You can disable promotion while editing your offer or directly in the My Assortment tab.
What happens if you terminate an offer with an active promotion option
We do not charge promotion fees for terminated offers. You can disable promotion options for these offers. With that, you can control whether you enable promotion after relisting this offer.
If you do not disable promoting for terminated offers, we will charge you with promotion fees after relisting this offer. If you do this before the previous billing cycle ends, we will charge the promotion fee after this cycle ends.
What happens if you disable the promotion option
If you disable the promotion option using the Immediately option — we will stop charging promotion fees immediately. If you enable the promotion option again, we will start a new cycle of charging fees.
If you disable the promotion option at the end of a cycle, we will also stop charging at the end of that cycle.

How to use the fee and commissions calculator
Go to the calculator:
- sign in to the Sales Center and go to the Fee and Commission Calculator tab
- if you do not want to sign in, go to this page.
Make sure you have selected the marketplace for which you want to calculate fees. You can check that on top of the page. We will select your registration marketplace by default.
- Enter the the category of an offer for which you want to calculate the fees. You can:
- find the category by the offer title or
- select the category from the list.
If you want to change the category you selected, enter the offer title once again or use the list of categories.
- Complete the Parameters section. There, provide:
- product price in an offer
- delivery cost — we will include it in the sales commission
- product condition — the default value is New. If you want, you can edit it.
- Check the box near the Allegro Smart! logo if you use this program and want to include those costs in the calculations. When you do that, we will grey out the delivery cost you have entered — we will not include it.
- In the Additional options section, select which promotion options you use. You can also provide the planned Allegro Ads budget and the number of Smart! Coins you want to add to the offer.
- Done! In the Summary, you can see what fees we will charge you.
What you can calculate
In the Summary section, you can see the expected fees of an offer for which you will provide the parameters in the calculator. We will calculate them for 1 sold unit of a given product. We will display the costs in two sections.
Fees and sales commissions for 1 unit sold
We charge these fees when a buyer places an order in your offer. Depending on your choice in the calculator, in this section, you can see:
- sales commission — calculated on the price with the delivery cost
- sales commission on featured offers
- Coins fee
- minimum and maximum cost of Allegro Smart! — we will provide it for an example parcel delivered in Poland that you settle with Allegro Standard.
This section shows the gross amount and information about the percentage of the sold product's value for every fee.
Recurring fees
These fees are related to the promotion options, and we charge them once every fixed period for each started promotion cycle. Depending on your choice in the calculator, in this section, you can see:
- Feature, Flexible Feature, or Promo Package fee
- Allegro Ads campaign fee
- promotion on the category page fee.
If you do not choose any promotion option in the calculator, we will not display this section in the Summary.
