Shipping price list — creating, editing, replacing
Shipping price lists make selling and shopping easier. Check how to create, edit and change delivery price lists in your offers. Find out more.
Thanks to shipping price lists, you do not have to complete delivery details in each offer. You just need to create a price list that you will later easily and quickly add to a selected offer.
You can create up to 250 price lists and add them to offers based on the assortment. Name each price list to make it easier to distinguish them. Remember also to set up the way you calculate delivery costs for offers with different shipping price lists. That way, your customer will see the correct cost when making the purchase.
How to create a shipping price list
- Go to the Delivery Settings tab.
- In the Delivery price lists section, click [add new price list].
- Name your price list — this will help you identify it more easily in the future. Enter the name in the Shipping price list field.
- Specify where you want to dispatch your orders from. Expand the list in the dispatch from: window and select the country you want to dispatch parcels from or select Email delivery — this option allows you to choose from 24 countries the ones you want to dispatch your products to.
- Choose where you want to ship your parcels to — select the country to which you want to dispatch parcels and the appropriate delivery options. If you add the delivery options to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary to your shipping price list and link that shipping price list to your offers — we will consider them already submitted for sharing in foreign marketplaces. For such offers, we will set the Price Converter by default.
- Complete the first unit and maximum quantity fields. Before you save the shipping price list, the Price list settings summary will show you:
- information about the marketplaces where we will share offers with that shipping price list — if their verification is positive
- delivery options you select — divided into marketplaces
- an additional section named Check the prices of offers on markets — you will see it while editing a shipping price list already linked to offers.
- Finally, click [save]. Done! The price list has been created and you can add it to your offers.
When you save the shipping price list, we will redirect you to the Delivery Settings tab and inform you that we have ordered sharing your offers in additional marketplaces — if you edited a shipping price list already linked to offers.
You can also create a shipping price list through the API. Some delivery option names may be the same in all marketplaces — for example, Allegro DPD Courier. Therefore, while integrating through the API, pay attention also to the Method ID field.
How to create a new shipping price list based on an existing one
You can add new shipping price lists with the [create similar] option. That way, you do not need to add all delivery options to the new shipping price list from scratch.
How it works
- In Delivery Settings, find the shipping price list you want to use to create a new one.
- Click the three dots on the right and select [create similar].
- Name the new shipping price list and edit the details according to your needs.
- Click [save]. Done! Now you can add the shipping price list to your offers.
How to set the delivery cost in different currencies
If you have a business account on Allegro, you can sell both on allegro.pl and in foreign marketplaces.
Depending on the dispatch and delivery place you choose, you will see appropriate delivery options in your shipping price lists. You set the delivery cost in a given currency. If the delivery option is available in more than one marketplace, you need to complete prices in each currency separately.
If you want to set the delivery price in two currencies, you can use the Currency calculator. Thanks to it, you will calculate the delivery cost of a given option in different currencies.
Click [set the price] to set the recalculated price in your shipping price lists. It is possible if the recalculated price is not higher than the maximum price you can set in the price lists for a given delivery option.
We publish the data in the Currency calculator based on the European Central Bank's current rate.
How to edit delivery time for particular shipping options
In the offers, we display the average time of parcel delivery for particular shipping options. However, if you know that the time may differ for the options you offer, you can edit the time manually while setting or editing the price list.
You can change the default shipping time for the following options:
- Courier delivery
- Economy postal parcel
- Priority postal parcel
- Economy registered letter
- Priority registered letter
- Economy letter
- Priority letter.
To do so, click on the shipping time displayed next to a given option, enter your own time, and click [save].
How to complete a price list for parcels from abroad
If you have registered your account to a foreign address, in a price list, you can easily select delivery options for parcels from abroad to Poland.

If you select: dispatch from: [Czechia] or dispatch from: [Another country], we will display the delivery options that allow you to dispatch parcels from abroad. For the majority of these options, you can set the default shipping time on your own. Learn more.
How to add a shipping price list while listing offers
In the listing form, you can find the Delivery and payment section and the Shipping price list field. Click on the drop-down list and select one of the price lists.

- Go to the My Assortment tab and select offers in which a price list should be replaced.
- Hover over [edit] and click [shipping price list].
- Select a price list that you want to assign to the selected offers and click [save].
We will display the number of offers in which you are editing the shipping price list in a separate window. We will share part of the offers or all of them in additional marketplaces. If you do not enter the offer price in the currency of a given marketplace — we will set the Price Converter in the shared offer.
- Click [save] or [Save and share offers]
You can apply the same method to replace a price list in a single offer. Simply select it and follow the instructions above.
Note
Editing a shipping price list is possible in the buy now offers. In the case of an auction, the change is possible until buyers make their offers.
How to remove a shipping price list template
If you want to remove a shipping price list template that you do not use anymore:
- Go to the Delivery Settings tab and find the price list you want to remove.
- Click the three dots on the right and select [remove price list].
- Click [remove]. Done!
If there are offers linked to the shipping price list you are trying to remove — first, you need to select another price list that will replace the old one, and then click [remove]. We can replace a given shipping price list only with one that contains delivery options to the same countries.
Example 1:
You are trying to remove a shipping price list linked to offers. That shipping price list contains delivery options to Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. It means that your offers are available in foreign marketplaces. To replace that shipping price list — we will only show you your other shipping price lists that contain delivery options to Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia.
Example 2:
You are trying to remove a shipping price list linked to offers. It contains only delivery options within Poland. To replace that shipping price list — we will only show you your other shipping price lists that contain delivery options to Poland.
Linking offers to another shipping price list can take up to several hours.
If you want to remove a price list with more than 1,000 offers linked to it:
- Go to the My assortment tab and link the offers to another shipping price list. Check how to do it.
- Then, go back to the Delivery Settings and select [remove price list] next to the price list you want to remove.
What you will find in the list of price lists
In the list of price lists, you can easily check whether your shipping price lists meet the Allegro Smart! terms in all marketplaces.
If, next to the price list's name, you see the following information:
- Smart! — the shipping price list meets the Allegro Smart! terms in the selected marketplace or in both marketplaces
- without Smart! — the shipping price list does not meet the Allegro Smart! terms in the selected marketplace or in both marketplaces
- Email delivery — the shipping price list does not meet the Allegro Smart! terms because the email delivery is always free of charge.
When you hover over that information, you will see more details.
The list of price lists also allows you to go to the list of offers to which the given price list is linked. To do it, click [show offers] next to a selected price list. Then, you will go directly to the My Assortment tab with the shipping price list filter active.
What the Smart! price list wizard is
The wizard allows you to easily, quickly, and conveniently create the price list that meets the Allegro Smart! conditions
You can go to the price list wizard if, in the Delivery Settings tab:
- you create or edit a new price list. You just need to click [adjust price list] in the message window at the top of the screen.
- in the list of price lists, you hover over the price list that does not meet the Allegro Smart! conditions. You just need to click [adjust] in the message window you will see next to the price list.
The wizard allows you to create the shipping price list that meets the Allegro Smart! conditions in 4 simple steps:
- In the first step, you will learn what you should do to get the Smart! badge.
- In the second step, you will select courier delivery options.
- In the third step, you will select delivery options to a pick-up point and/or a parcel locker.
- In the fourth step, you will see the summary. We will display the list of options you enable within the price list. You will also learn whether the shipping price list meets the Allegro Smart! conditions
Frequently asked questions
You can check it in the preview of your shipping price lists. If you click [preview] next to a given shipping price list, you will see its simplified view.
The view will be divided into marketplaces. That way, you can find basic information about selected delivery options and parcel prices, as well as check which options will be visible in each marketplace.
If you click [more], you will see additional columns that are hidden in the preview by default:
- Parcel limits — quantity
- Parcel limits — maximum weight
- Another unit in package.
When you create a price list, you select the delivery options you want to make available to buyers. Then, you complete the following fields:
- First unit — the parcel fee that will be charged to the buyer when they buy at least 1 unit.
- Maximum quantity — the number of units you can ship within one parcel. In this field, enter the number of units you are actually able to pack within one parcel.
- Surcharge for subsequent unit — the amount that we will add for each subsequent product shipped within the same parcel.
Examples
The delivery fee for the first unit is 10 PLN, you can ship up to 5 units within one parcel, and you set a surcharge of 1 PLN — in that case, when the buyer orders:
- 1 unit — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN
- 2 units — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN + 1 PLN = 11 PLN
- 3 units — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN = 12 PLN
- 5 units — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN = 14 PLN
- 6 units — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 10 PLN (another parcel) = 24 PLN
- 7 units — the delivery fee will be 10 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 1 PLN + 10 PLN (another parcel) + 1 PLN = 25 PLN.
The delivery fee for the first unit is 10 PLN, you can ship up to 5 units within one parcel, and you set a surcharge of 0 PLN — in that case, when the buyer orders:
- 1–5 units — the delivery cost is 10 PLN
- 6–10 units — the delivery cost is 20 PLN
- 11–15 units — the delivery cost is 30 PLN.
The maximum parcel weight is another value we take into account when determining the delivery cost. In the price lists, you can set the weight to a value ranging from 5 kg to 700 kg. You can do it in the Delivery Settings tab or through the API.
It is up to you whether you want to provide the maximum parcel weight.
You can set a maximum parcel weight for the following delivery options:
- Allegro UPS Courier
- Allegro UPS Courier payment on delivery
- Allegro DPD Courier
- Allegro DPD Courier payment on delivery
- Allegro DPD Pickup
- Allegro DPD Pickup payment on delivery.
When you set both the maximum quantity and the maximum parcel weight, we will take them into account. If an order exceeds one of those values, we will charge the buyer another parcel costs.
We take into account the maximum parcel weight in the delivery cost only if you complete the Weight (with packaging) parameter in a given offer. If you do not do it, we will calculate the delivery cost based on the maximum number of units in a parcel alone.
Example:
You sell dog food, whose weight with packaging is 2 kg. In the delivery price list, you set the following parameters for the Allegro DPD courier delivery option:
- the price for the first unit in a parcel — 12.99 PLN
- the maximum number of units in a parcel — 4
- the maximum parcel weight — 5 kg.
The customer buys 3 units of dog food from the offer, which together weigh 6 kg. The order exceeds the maximum parcel weight you have set as 5 kg. The customer pays 25.98 (2 x 12.99 PLN) for the delivery of that order. We charge them for another parcel — despite the fact that the maximum number of units in a parcel is 4.
Combining price lists and delivery costs allows the automatic calculation of the delivery cost if the customer buys in a few of your offers. We will combine them if in all of the offers from which the customer buys products, you enable at least one common delivery option:
- Combining costs: if there is a common delivery option, but not all of its parameters are the same in all of the offers, we calculate delivery costs for that option according to the seller's settings.
- Combining price lists: if all of the parameters of the common delivery option are the same, we consider that all of the offers have the same price list.
Make sure that you enable at least one common delivery option in all of the offers and set the rule of calculating delivery costs for various price lists. As a result, the customer will see proper delivery costs upon every purchase.
How to edit the way we calculate delivery costs:
- Go to the Delivery Settings tab.
- Click [edit] in the Delivery costs for the buyer section on the right.
- Select one of the available methods of delivery cost calculation.
You can set the way we calculate the delivery cost separately for each marketplace.
First option: in the shipping price list, you have set 0 PLN as the delivery cost for that international delivery option.
Second option: you have set free delivery for international parcels over a given amount (for example, 300 PLN). That means buyers can benefit from free delivery if they order from you international parcels exceeding the amount you set (for example, from 300 PLN).
Free delivery is an option you set on your account, not in the shipping price list settings. It applies to all of the offers you list — regardless of the shipping price list you add to them.
You can set the free delivery conditions separately for each marketplace and currency.
You can set different shipping terms for dispatch within one country and for dispatch abroad or disable free delivery.
You can edit your account details in the Delivery Settings tab.
This may happen in 3 situations:
- if, in the Delivery Settings tab, you select the customer can enter a different delivery cost option as the method for calculating delivery costs
- if the offers in which the customer buys do not have any common delivery option
- if the customer buys products from a few offers, for which personal pick-up from seller is the only common delivery option.
In that case, you have to set the delivery cost with the buyer.
Example:
Offer 1 has the following delivery options: Allegro Paczkomaty InPost and Allegro Kurier24 InPost.
Offer 2 has the following delivery options: Paczkomaty InPost and DPD Courier.
Those offers have no common delivery option, so we will display the Delivery and price to be agreed with seller option to the buyer.
If you do not want to receive orders with no delivery option and cost specified, enable at least one common delivery option in all of your offers. That way, the buyer will not need to enter the delivery cost on their own.
If you have added international delivery options to your shipping price lists, you can dispatch products to Poland and other countries. Set the delivery cost for dispatch abroad in the currencies of all the marketplaces you sell in. Buyers on allegro.pl will see prices in PLN, and buyers in other marketplaces — in currencies applicable there.
No. For all the delivery options available also in other marketplaces, you need to provide prices in PLN and applicable currencies. However, you choose which offers to share in the foreign marketplaces individually. You can do it, for example, in the My Assortment tab. Learn how sharing offers in several marketplaces works.
No. A single shipping price list can include all delivery options you will use to dispatch parcels:
- across Poland
- abroad from Poland
- from abroad to Poland.
In the shipping price list preview, you can check which delivery options will be visible to buyers on allegro.pl and in the foreign marketplaces.
