Sales Quality: we have introduced changes to the Fast dispatch metric
From June 4, due to a technical error, we were calculating the points in the On-time dispatch and Fast dispatch metrics according to a method different than we had announced. Today we fixed that error. Read below how we calculate points in both of those sales quality metrics from July 21.
How we calculate points in the On-time dispatch metric
In the On-time dispatch metric, we calculate points in the way we announced on June 4. It means that we check the number of orders that were:
- dispatched in accordance with the time declared in the offer or
- delivered no later than on the estimated day of delivery that the buyer saw in the offer at the moment of purchase.
You can find more information about the On-time dispatch metric in our article.
How we calculate points in the Fast dispatch metric
In the Fast dispatch metric, we have changed the way we calculate points. From today, we check the number of orders placed in offers with declared immediate or 1-day dispatch, and:
- dispatched on the day of placing the order and paying for it or
- delivered no later than indicated by the longest shipping time for the delivery option selected during the purchase, counted from the moment of paying for the order.
You can check the information about the shipping time for the delivery options available on Allegro on this page.
We divide this order number by the total number of your orders (regardless of the declared dispatch time) and multiply the result by 100%. The outcome is the percentage of orders with fast dispatch.
In the Fast dispatch metric, we consider orders for which the dispatch time or expected delivery time displayed in the offer at the moment of purchase expired within the last 28 days. We look at the later of those dates.
The numbers of points and point thresholds in both the On-time dispatch and the Fast dispatch metrics remain unchanged. You can find them in this article.
How those changes will affect your sales quality
The methods of calculating points described above will apply not only to orders placed from July 21 onwards. We also used them to calculate your points for all earlier orders for which 28 days have not passed since the declared dispatch time or estimated delivery time. This could change the points in your On-time dispatch and Fast dispatch metrics.

What changed in the Delivery efficiency report
To make checking the statistics easier for you, we have also introduced changes to the delivery efficiency report.
- We have changed the Anticipated delivery date column name to Delivery deadline (On-time dispatch). There, you can check the date by which the parcel must be delivered so that we can grant points for it in the On-time dispatch metric. At the same time, it is an estimated delivery date that the buyer saw in the offer during the purchase. If the order consists of multiple offers, you will see the latest estimated delivery date for one of them.
- We have added a new column to the report: Delivery deadline (Fast dispatch). There, you can check the date by which the parcel must be delivered so that we can grant points for it in the Fast dispatch metric. It is also the date of the longest shipping time for the delivery option selected during the purchase, counted from the moment of paying for the order.
You can download the Delivery efficiency report from:
- Delivery efficiency tab. Click [download report] in the Sales Quality measurement statistics section.
- My Sales Quality tab. Click details next to the On-time dispatch or Fast dispatch metrics, and then [download the report].
