You can complete the Compatible with section in the listing form for certain categories. This will help your customers find parts compatible with specific device or vehicle models.

For which categories you can complete the Compatible with section

You can complete the Compatible with section if you list or edit offers in the categories from this list.

How the Compatible with filter works

In certain categories with car parts and on the Automotive category page, we will display 3 filters above the offer list that allow you to filter by:

• car brand
• car model
• engine type.

When a buyer selects a car brand and model, we will display offers with parts compatible with their selection. The buyer can also narrow the search results to a particular engine type.

How to complete the Compatible with section

You can do it in two ways:

1. If you enter at least 2 characters in the listing form, we will suggest a list of compatible vehicle or device models. You can choose one or more suggestions from it.

   • You can select each model individually or click [select all].
   • If you enter another car or device model, we will save the ones you have already selected. This way, you can add different models and brands.
   • You can add selected models by clicking [add selected].
   • If you roll up the search list, we will clear your selection.
   • If we recognize the model, we will mark the field green.
   • If we do not recognize the model, we will mark the field red. It might not mean that it is not in our base. When you click such a model, you will see a drop-down list. We will suggest several models from which you can select the correct one. We will also mark the models that you have already correctly added.

You can add details to each model. For example, some parts can be compatible with a specific version of that model.

2. If you have your own model list (for example, from your database or an online store), click [paste the list of models]. We will display an additional window where you can paste your list. We will turn each item from your list into a separate item in the Compatible with section.

The data from both sections is accessible by the search engine. It means that when a customer types a phrase on the homepage, we also search the contents of the Compatible with section, not just the offer titles.

On the offer page, we categorize models from the list into groups. For example, if you enter multiple Audi models (Audi 100 C3 Avant (445, 446) 1.8 (DR RS) 1781ccm 75HP/55kW 1982/08–1987/12, Audi 100 C2 sedan (431, 433, 434) 2.0 D (CN) 1986ccm 70HP/51kW 1978/08–1982/07) in the listing form, we will display them under the Audi heading on the page of your offer.

How to list car parts, motorcycle parts, and machine parts

1. Go to the listing form and choose a product from our Product Catalog using identifying parameters.

2. Enter an offer title that complies with our rules — you can include the exact part number provided by the manufacturer on the label or the part itself.
3. Provide product features and condition, as well as all necessary parameters. Make sure to enter correct data in the following parameters:

   • Catalog number of the original — enter the part number provided by the vehicle's manufacturer, for example, OE Fiat. This will help your customers find what they need more accurately and quickly using the part number. All they need to do is enter the number without spaces in the search bar. This way, you can also increase the likelihood of compatibility of a part with the buyer's vehicle.
   • Catalog number of substitutes — provide the list of other manufacturers' spare parts.

4. If a product in your offer was placed on the market before December 13, 2024, make sure to include that information in the listing form. Find out how to do that and what obligations the GPSR imposes on you.

What happens if you edit an offer

If you edit an offer to which you have already added a list of models, we may automatically transfer your data.

How it works:

• If we recognize the model, we will mark the field green.
• If we do not recognize the model, we will mark it red.

When you click such a model, we will suggest several models from which you can select the correct one. We will also mark the models that you have already correctly added.

In addition, in certain categories, we suggest compatible models in the listing form based on the data from the Allegro Catalog.

Click [use the suggestions (X models)] in the listing form. This way, you can see our model suggestions. You can decide if you want to use them.

How to update the Compatible with section details in multiple offers

If your offers are linked to a product from the Catalog, you can update the details of this product in all such offers.

1. Go to the My Assortment tab.
2. Check the selected offers an click Edit.
3. Select Update with product data and confirm the update.

We will then update:

• the parameter values — so that they match the product data from the Catalog
• the Compatible with section and the TecDoc technical specification — if you list offers in certain subcategories of the Automotive category.

How the TecDoc spare part catalog works

If you provide us with the number of a car part you sell, or you choose that part from the search bar, we will complete it with data from the TecDoc catalog created by TecAlliance. They obtain data on spare parts directly from the producers and allow us to use them. Thanks to that, your customers can quickly search for parts on Allegro by many criteria, such as vehicle make, part number, engine, etc.

While we try to have as many completed parameters as possible for each product, in the case of automotive parts — thanks to TecDoc — we can add:

• TecDoc technical specification and
• the Compatible with section automatically completed with the data from TecDoc.
