How to create a good offer title
An effective title should only concern the product listed in a given offer. Keywords should be placed at the beginning of the title.
Find relevant keywords to help determine the offer subject as well as you can. Keywords are words or phrases that describe the offer subject as accurately as possible. When you create an offer title, place the keywords at the beginning.
To make a title effective, the title should concern only the product listed in a given offer.
Number or characters and and words in titles
The title should contain a minimum of:
- 12 characters with spaces
- 3 words (3 strings of characters separated by spaces).
The maximum number of characters in an offer title is 75.
Examples of good titles
- Samsung Galaxy S5 16 GB biały (Samsung Galaxy S5 16 GB white)
- Rower holenderka miejski damski 28’’ (dutch bicycle urban for a woman 28’’)
- Kask Shark motocyklowy otwarty (Shark motorcycle helmet open-face)
- Kombinezon Berik motocyklowy dwuczęściowy (Berik motorcycle two-piece suit)
Examples of bad offer titles
- Tylko u nas Najtaniej !! moto Kask Shark open face (Only with us The cheapest !! Shark moto helmet open face)
- ZOBACZ_TO kombinezon motor Berik modny (MUST_SEE Berik motor suit trendy) [/bbox]
What to avoid in an offer title
- Do not repeat keywords.
- Do not use words relating to discounts — for example, "tanio" (cheap), "najtaniej" (the cheapest deal), etc.
- Do not use phrases unrelated to the product in the offer.
- Do not use words like “okazja” (deal), “nowość” (new on the market), “promocja” (promotion), “hit”, etc.
- Do not provide any additional information, such as your username, location for in-person pick-up, information about the invoice, or fast dispatch.
- Do not provide warehouse numbers or your internal numbers — they are confusing for buyers.
- Do not use special characters (such as @, !, [ ]) to make your offer stand out — you can only use them if they are featured in the brand name, or you want to indicate the size: [38].
- Do not provide the name of the brand that does not concern the product in the offer. If the product you sell can be used with products of other brands, use a phrase like “przeznaczony do” (intended for) in the offer title. If your product is universal and matches products of many other brands, do not list them all in the offer title.
If you provide any of the words or phrases described above in the offer title, Google will treat that as a prohibited action. It may lower the position of your offer in the Google search results.
If you follow our advice, buyers will find your offer more easily through the search engine. They look for specific items, for example, by entering the brand name. Nobody enters phrases like “a fantastic thing” or “must see!” in their search queries.
