We have introduced the change regarding delivery with Allegro Pocztex Courier
Poczta Polska will introduce new terms of service for delivery options carried out in cooperation with Allegro. In relation to that change, we have introduced a transition period in which you can still dispatch heavier and larger parcels — for an additional fee.
On November 1, 2024, we will change the maximum weight and dimensions for parcels you dispatch with:
What the new maximum dimensions and weight will be:
- 70 x 60 x 60 cm — maximum parcel dimensions
- 20 kg — maximum parcel weight.
If you dispatch a parcel exceeding the maximum weight of 20 kg or the maximum dimensions of 70 x 60 x 60 cm — from November 1, you will be charged an extra fee of 99.99 PLN gross.
The fee is already specified in the price list. We will, however, reduce the maximum parcel weight and dimensions over which we charge that fee.
The transition period between September 19 and October 31
The transition period lasts between September 19 and October 31. In this period, you can still dispatch heavier and larger parcels, but for an additional fee of 6.99 PLN gross.
How it worked before
Until September 18, you paid the basic price for dispatching parcels with the following weight and dimensions:
- weight — up to 30 kg
- maximum sum of sides (width + height + length) — 250 cm
- maximum length of the longest side of the parcel — 120 cm.
Why we have introduced this change
On November 1, Poczta Polska will introduce new terms of service for delivery options carried out together with Allegro — it will no longer handle parcels over 20 kg or with dimensions exceeding 70 x 60 x 60 cm.
How to reduce the cost of parcels that exceed the new maximum weight and dimensions
If you want to keep dispatching parcels over 20 kg or with dimensions exceeding 70 x 60 x 60 cm and reduce additional fees, you can add to your offers other courier delivery options like Allegro DPD Courier or Allegro DHL Courier. Those carriers handle parcels between 20 kg and 31.5 kg.
