Sales Quality: we will introduce changes to the Fast dispatch metric
On July 21, we will change one of the conditions for granting points in the Fast dispatch metric. Learn more.
On June 4, we introduced changes to two sales quality metrics: On-time dispatch and Fast dispatch. However, due to a technical error, we were not calculating points according to the announced method.
What we have done about that
We have been working on a fix. We have prepared solutions, thanks to which from July 21:
- we will calculate points in the On-time dispatch metric according to the announced method. It means that we will check how many orders have been dispatched in the time declared in the offer or delivered no later than on the estimated delivery date that the buyer saw in the offer at the time of purchase. Read our article to learn more.
- we will introduce a new point calculation method in the Fast dispatch metric — see the details below.
The number of points and point thresholds will remain unchanged in both the On-time dispatch and the Fast dispatch metrics. You can find them in this article.
What it means for you
The calculation methods mentioned above will apply not only to the orders placed before July 21. On that day, we will also use them to recalculate your points for all previous orders for which 28 days have not passed since the declared dispatch time or estimated delivery date. Because of that, your score in the On-time dispatch and Fast dispatch metrics may change.
How we will award points in the Fast dispatch metric from July 21
In this metric, we will check the number of orders that buyers have placed in offers with declared dispatch time: immediately or within 24 hours and that have been:
- dispatched on the day of placing the order and paying for it or
- delivered no later than indicated by the longest shipping time for the delivery option selected during the purchase, counted from the moment of paying for the order.
You can check the information about the shipping time for the delivery options available on Allegro on this page.
We will divide this order number by the total number of your orders (regardless of the declared dispatch time) and multiply the result by 100%. That way, we will get the percentage of orders with fast dispatch.
In that metric, we will consider orders for which the dispatch time or estimated delivery time displayed in the offer at the moment of purchase expired within the last 28 days. We look at the later of those dates.
See an example
On June 4, a buyer makes a purchase in an offer where you declare immediate dispatch. At the moment of purchase, we displayed June 5 as the estimated delivery time in that offer. This means we will include the order made in that offer in the Fast dispatch metric for 28 days, counted from June 6 — that is, to July 3.
What else we will change
On July 21, we will add two new columns to the delivery efficiency report:
- Delivery deadline (On-time dispatch) — where you can check the date by which the parcel must be delivered so that we can award points for it in the On-time dispatch metric. At the same time, it is the expected delivery date that the buyer saw in the offer at the moment of purchase. If the order consists of multiple offers, you will see the latest estimated delivery date for one of those offers.
- Delivery deadline (Fast dispatch) — where you can check the date by which the parcel must be delivered so that we can award points for it in the Fast dispatch metric. At the same time, it is also the date of the longest shipping time for the delivery option selected during the purchase, counted from the moment of paying for the order.
