We have introduced a new badge for sellers. See how to get it.
The Allegro Packaging Standard is a set of guidelines that will make preparing a parcel for dispatch easier. Once you join the program, a special badge — an icon with the words Allegro Packaging Standard — will appear in the About the seller and Sales and dispatch sections . Show buyers that you pack parcels safely and without unnecessary plastic.
What you can gain with the program
- You can save money by avoiding additional costs — parcels packed according to guidelines can be sorted automatically. This way, you may avoid additional fees charged by carriers.
- You strengthen customer trust — the badge indicates that your parcels are easy to open and that the cardboard box itself can be reused.
- You are prepared for the introduction of new EU laws — meet the requirements of the PPWR before they become mandatory.
- You can secure your products better — durable cardboard ensures protection during transport.
Key rules of the program
To receive the badge, pack parcels according to these rules:
- use paper and durable cardboard (3-ply or 5-ply)
- eliminate plastic and stretch film — both black and transparent film. Use plastic only if required by carrier guidelines.
- match the box size to the product — empty space inside the package can take up a maximum of 50%
- make sure the parcel's shape is regular — avoid protruding or sharp elements (such as staples).
How to join the program
Accept the declaration in the Sales Center:
- Go to the My packaging tab.
- In the Join the Allegro Packaging Standard program, click [join the program].
- Read information about the program. Click [next].
- Read the declaration. If you meet the conditions, check the window below the text.
- Click [join the program].
Done! The Allegro Packaging Standard badge will appear in your About the seller and Sales and dispatch sections.
