From April 9, we will start making changes to selected parameters in Fashion, Sports and Travel, and Kids

See what we will change.

What we will change from April 9

In the following subcategories:

the Gender parameter will become mandatory. We will automatically complete the value of that parameter with woman or man in all offers — based on the subcategory where you list your offer.

We have also addeed the unisex value to the Gender parameter — if you think that this value is suitable for your product, you can select it yourself.

In the following subcategories:

in the mandatory Gender parameter, we will remove the not applicable value. You will be able to complete that parameter yourself with the following values:

  • boy
  • girl
  • woman
  • man
  • unisex.

If you do not complete that parameter yourself:

  • it will not be visible in your offers — which means buyers will not see relevant information in the parameter section on the offer page
  • in the subcategories listed above, you will not:
  • list a new offer
  • edit an ongoing offer
  • relist an offer.

This applies to offers you list via the listing form, the API, as well as the List from file tab.

Go to your offers and edit the values of the parameters we are planning to change. You can quickly edit multiple offers in the My Assortment tab, with a CSV file, or through the API.

In the following subcategories:

in the Outer material parameter that is currently a multiple-choice one, you will only be able to select one value. You can edit the Outer material parameter in your offers. Select the material that is predominant in the particular product. If you do not do it yourself — we will use the first value that you provided as the value of the Outer material parameter.

In the following subcategories:

we will remove the not specified value from the Insulation parameter. You will be able to complete that parameter with the yes or no value yourself. If you provided not specified (which will be removed) as the value of the Insulation parameter and failed to provide other values — that parameter will not be visible in your offers. It means that buyers will not see relevant information in the section with parameters on the offer page.

In the following subcategories:

we will remove the not specified value from the Height parameter. You will be able to complete that parameter yourself with the following values:

  • knee-high
  • mid-calf
  • low
  • above the knee
  • below ankle
  • high
  • above ankle.

If you provided the not specified value (which we will remove) in the Height parameter and did not complete it with other values — that parameter will not be visible in your offers. It means that buyers will not see relevant information in the section with parameters on the offer page.

In subcategories where the Height parameter is mandatory, you will not be able to:

  • list a new offer
  • edit an ongoing offer
  • relist an offer.

This applies to the offers you list via the listing form, the API, as well as the List from file tab.

Go to your offers and edit the values of the parameters we are planning to change. You can quickly edit multiple offers in the My Assortment tab, with a CSV file, or through the API.

Check the list of subcategories (XLSX, 9.6 KB) in which the Height parameter is mandatory.

Why we are doing it

That will allow you to describe the type of products you sell more precisely. Consequently, buyers will be able to find your offers more easily — for example, by using filters. This may convince them to buy from you.
