Translation in the Message Center
The Allegro Message Center
Get to know the Message Center ― you no longer have to leave the website to check or send the message to the seller or the buyer. You will do all this on your Allegro account.
The Message Center is a way of communicating between sellers and buyers without them leaving the Allegro website or mobile app. It is really easy to use, as it combines the convenience of the chat and instant messaging apps with the possibilities of the email.
In the Message Center, you can find your correspondence carried on within Allegro, via allegromail.pl and allegromail.com email addresses ― for example, the questions sent through the [Ask a question] form on the offer page, as well as the sellers’ answers.
Do you operate in several Allegro marketplaces?
In that case, in the Message Center you will find all messages — regardless of whether they were sent on allegro.pl, allegro.cz, or allegro.sk.
You sell in a foreign marketplace? If in the Message Center you create a message for a foreign buyer that is not in their preferred language, we will translate it automatically. It will make their shopping experience more convenient — and it will be easier for you to process the transaction.

On Allegro Lokalnie, you can contact the seller through a chatbox. You can use it just like the Message Center. Check how it works.

Where to find the Message Center
You can find the Message Center in the Account tab and the Sales Center.
How the Message Center works
You can always find new message notifications with a dedicated icon on the upper bar, next to your username, and a cart icon.
You get all messages both to your email inbox and the Message Center.
How to write a message
The seller can start a conversation with the buyer through:
- an email
- the [new message] button — only if they have an active business account and provide the buyer’s login and order number.
The buyer can start a conversation with the seller through:
- an email
- the Ask a question option on the product page
- the Ask about purchase option — after placing an order with that seller.
You can continue the conversation in the Message Center — regardless of how you started it.
What you can do in the Message Center
In the Message Center, you can:
- filter messages by
- the recipient's username — enter their full username
- unread messages
- messages without your reply
- receive messages with attachments, also those sent from an email box
- download attachments as PDFs, and in the following image file formats: GIF, BMP, TIFF, JPEG, JPG, PNG
- delete messages ― keep in mind the recipient will still be able to see them
- copy the message content
- translate messages from over 170 languages into Polish, English or Ukrainian.
How to translate messages
If a message is written in a language different than the one you have set in your preferences — you can translate it into Polish or English. Click [przetłumacz] or [translate] under the message.
When you click [pokaż tekst w oryginale] lub [show original text] — you will see the message in its original language, again.
