We have changed the way of listing offers with products of protected brands
Check how the changes will affect your sales — both on Allegro and Allegro Lokalnie.
As announced, from September 2, only sellers with business accounts — who have confirmed that they are familiar with the Brand Protection Conditions — can list offers with products of protected brands on Allegro.
Brand Protection Conditions are a set of rules for selling the products of certain brands. They concern the so-called protected brands we list in Appendix No. 1 to our Terms & Conditions.
What it means for you if you hold a business account
- If you do not sell products of protected brands — nothing changes for you.
If you sell products of protected brands and have confirmed that you know the Brand Protection Conditions:
- you can still add, edit, or relist offers with those products on Allegro
- from today, you will not list, edit, or relist classifieds with those products on Allegro Lokalnie. If you want to list offers with protected brands' products on Allegro Lokalnie — you can only do it with a regular account.
If you offer protected brands' products and have not yet confirmed that you are familiar with the Brand Protection Conditions:
- from today, you will not list, relist, or edit offers with those products on Allegro. That applies also to classifieds with those products on Allegro Lokalnie.
- confirm that you are familiar with those conditions. If you fail to do that by October 2 — on that day, we will terminate all your offers with protected brands' products on Allegro. It also applies to your classifieds with those products on Allegro Lokalnie.
What it means for you if you hold a regular account
- If you do not sell products of protected brands — nothing changes for you.
If you sell protected brands' products:
- from today, you will not list, relist, or edit offers with those products on Allegro. On October 2, we will also terminate all your offers with those products. If you want to sell the protected brands' products on Allegro, open a business account and confirm that you are familiar with the Brand Protection Conditions.
- you can still list, edit, or relist offers with those products on Allegro Lokalnie. Copy your offers on Allegro and list them on Allegro Lokalnie — you can do it now. Use a new special tool to complete most fields in the listing form automatically. You only need to provide the delivery option.
