The GPSR: check how you will add the details required by the regulation from December 13
You will complete the obligatory product details in a new tab in the Sales Center and in specific offers.
As announced, on December 13, 2024, the EU's General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) will take effect. We are adjusting Allegro to the changes in law and we have already marked the parameters in selected categories as obligatory.
Under the regulation, you will be obliged to provide more details of the product you sell. Check what it means for you.
What details will be required from December 13
Under the GPSR, the obligatory parameters will be as follows:
- manufacturers' details
- parameters identifying the product
- warnings and safety information — you can already add them to your offers
- the details of the person responsible for introducing the product to the European market — only if the manufacturer's registered office is not in the European Union. You can already add that information to your offers.
How you can complete the details
We provide tabs where you can complete the additional parameters in the offer descriptions.
In the Sales Settings tab, you will complete:
- manufacturer's details
- the details of a person responsible for introducing the product onto the European market.
In the offers you will add:
- parameters identifying the product
- attachments.
We will display the details you have added in the offer description's sections.
Information in the tab and offers can also be completed through the Allegro API.
