Now, we will grant the Deal badge automatically
From now on, you do not need to submit offers for the Deal badge. We will grant it automatically in all the marketplaces. Learn how it works.
The Deal badge is granted to offers in which you reduce the price by at least 5% compared to the lowest price in those offers from the last 30 days. Before, we only displayed that badge in the offers you submitted through the Campaigns & Programs tab.
What we have changed
Now, we will also display the Deal badge automatically. We will add it to all offers that meet the requirements for the badge — but only if the price reduction does not exceed 60%.
The Deal badge will remain free of charge in all the marketplaces.
What offers get the Deal badge automatically
We automatically grant the Deal badge to offers that:
- are listed by sellers who hold a business account with at least Neutral sales quality level
- are not listed in the categories in which we do not grant the Deal badge in a given marketplace
- contain new products (except for categories where the Condition parameter is unavailable)
- have had their product price reduced by at least 5%, but no more than 60%, compared to the lowest price in that offer from the last 30 days.
We want to offer buyers attractive products at reasonable prices and ensure the value of the Deal badge. For these reasons, on February 24, we will start excluding offers that we consider unattractive from the Deal badge. To determine the offer's attractiveness, we mostly take the price and sales performance into account. For example, we check the difference between the offer's price and this product's lowest price on Allegro. We also look at the offer's sales results, popularity, and buyers' interest.
Other restrictions on promoting offers in a given marketplace still apply. It means that the badge will not be available, among others, in offers of sellers who have been barred from participating in campaigns, or in offers with medical devices on allegro.pl, for which sellers have not completed the required consents.
