With this option, you can select the marketplace — Poland (allegro.pl), Czechia (allegro.cz), Slovakia (allegro.sk) or Hungary (allegro.hu). With that, you can read articles about rules applicable to a foreign marketplace in your default language. If you want to browse articles in a different language, click here.
How to create own pricing rules
You can edit the default pricing rules of all types. That way, you will create your own pricing rules and will be able to manage your offer prices even more accurately.
Currently, you can use 3 types of pricing rules that we enable by default:
You can use each of those types to create and save your own pricing rule.
How it works
Each pricing rule you create will both:
- adjust the price to the lowest price of that product or convert the price to the currency of a foreign marketplace — depending on the default rule you edit
- add or deduct a specified percentage of the price or a specified amount.
In the case of pricing rules based on Price Converter — we will add or deduct a specified percentage or amount to the price in the currency of the registration marketplace, that is — before the price is converted.
In the case of pricing rules based on Lowest price on Allegro and Lowest price on the market — we will add or deduct a specified percentage of the price or a specified amount to the new lowest price of a given product and we will also check whether the final amount is in your price range.
Example
- For an offer with the price of 20 PLN, you set your own rule that:
- compares your price with the lowest price on Allegro
- adds 5%
- changes the price only within the range from 15 to 25 PLN.
- Currently, the lowest price of a given product on Allegro is 16 PLN.
- According to your rule, we add 5% to that amount — that gives 16.80 PLN.
- We check whether the new price is within the range from 15 to 25 PLN. In this example — yes.
- We update your offer price to 16.80 PLN.
To make your own pricing rule work, you need to link it to a selected offer first — just like in the case of the default pricing rules. In the case of pricing rules based on Lowest price on Allegro and Lowest price on the market, we also require you to provide the price range.
