From August 1, we will block the possibility of participating in campaigns for selling illegal products
We will limit the possibility of participating in campaigns to sellers who have violated our Terms & Conditions multiple times. Check the details.
Update from August 22, 2024
We have changed the rules of this blockade. Currently, we count days when a violation occurred on a given account. Before, we counted individual violations — several of which could occur in a single day.
This means we will block your account if we discover such violations occurring for at least 3 days in the last 30 days — unlike before, when we blocked the account after at least 3 violations.
On Allegro, you must not sell products that violate the law. As of now, we can, among other things, limit access to certain Allegro functions or block the accounts of sellers who have listed offers with such products multiple times.
From August 1, we will also block the possibility of participating in campaigns available in the Campaigns & Programs tab.
What it means for you
We monitor offers listed on Allegro and reports concerning illegal products. When we find an offer with an illegal or forbidden product on your account, we remove that offer and inform you about it.
From August 1, we will check how many times you have violated the provisions of the Terms & Conditions in that regard on your account. We will consider data from the last 30 days.
If we discover such a violation on your account 3 times — we will block your ability to participate in campaigns for 30 days.
During the blockade:
- we will exclude all of your offers from ongoing campaigns
- we will block the possibility of submitting for the campaign any new offers from your account.
Example
- You list offers with products that cannot be sold on Allegro. Between July 2 and August 1, you do it 5 times.
- On August 1, we will block your account from participating in campaigns for 30 days. From that day on, your offers submitted for the campaigns will not be promoted in them, and you will be able to submit for the next campaigns only from August 31.
- On the following days, you still list offers with forbidden products. You do it 3 more times until August 20.
- We will prolong the blocking for 30 days. That means you can submit your offers for the campaigns only after 60 days — from September 30.
What you can do now
If you want to keep promoting your offers in campaigns such as Allegro Days or Smart! Week — do not list on Allegro the products we define as forbidden in our Terms & Conditions. You will find their list in Appendix No. 1.
Why we are doing it
We want purchases on Allegro to be safe for all the customers. That is why, we are adjusting our tools to the requirements that concern combating illegal content — including the provisions of the Digital Services Act. Thanks to that change, we minimize the risk of sellers promoting offers with illegal content and increasing their visibility on Allegro.
