You can now easily convert your shipping price list into a pre-made one
We have enabled a new option that allows you to create a pre-made shipping price list based on an existing one. See how to use it.
What pre-made shipping price lists are
Pre-made shipping price lists are automatically updated shipping price lists that always meet the Allegro Smart! requirements. All you need to do is specify where you dispatch from, the country you dispatch to, and select the template — we handle everything else. We select the most appropriate delivery options and make sure their rates are always up to date.
In the Delivery Settings tab, you can find a new option that allows you to create pre-made shipping price lists based on the existing ones. You can use that option to convert the shipping price lists that meet specific requirements.
How you can use the new option
If some of your shipping price lists can be converted, we will display a dedicated banner over the list. It will contain information about the number of shipping price lists you can convert into pre-made ones. Click the [start] button on the banner to continue and see detailed information before making the change.
We will also display the [Convert] button on the list of your shipping price lists — under the name of each shipping price list that you can convert into a pre-made one.
Which shipping price lists you can convert into pre-made ones
You can convert a shipping price list into a pre-made one if:
- it contains selected delivery options settled within Allegro Standard or the Allegro Paczkomaty InPost delivery option and
- all delivery options in that shipping price list have the same country of dispatch, and that country is Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, or Hungary.
In the Delivery Settings tab, we will only display the new option next to the shipping price lists that meet the requirements described above — you do not need to check it yourself.
What will change in the shipping price list you convert
Upon conversion, you have the opportunity to tailor the shipping price list to your specific needs. You can, for example, disable selected delivery options — as long as they are not the required Smart! options.
We will inform you about all differences between the new and previous shipping price list during the conversion — before you confirm the changes and create a pre-made shipping price list.
Differences that you may find important
- In the pre-made shipping price lists, you cannot edit the delivery rates — we automatically set the maximum fee rate for a given delivery option. If the rates change, we will also automatically update them in your pre-made shipping price list.
- If your existing shipping price list contains delivery options that you settle based on your own agreement with the carrier — we will not transfer them to the pre-made shipping price list.
- If your shipping price list does not meet all the Smart! requirements, for example, it does not contain the required delivery options — we will add them to the pre-made shipping price list.
- In the pre-made shipping price lists, the payment on delivery option will always be enabled for foreign marketplaces. You can only disable it on allegro.pl.
- In the pre-made shipping price lists, you can set the number of units in a parcel for groups of delivery options — and not for each separately, unlike in the previous shipping price lists. This means you can set a specific number of units in a parcel, for example, for all delivery options to parcel lockers or all options with courier delivery. Upon conversion, we will suggest those numbers based on your previous shipping price list. You can adjust them before saving the changes.
The new shipping price list will be linked to the same offers as the previous one.
What you gain with this change
With the new option, you can easily create pre-made shipping price lists. Pre-made shipping price lists are always up to date and meet the Allegro Smart! requirements. We ensure that on a regular basis and automatically update them — which means you need to make less effort. During the conversion, you do not need to complete the data again — you can use the data from the shipping price lists that are already available on your account.
