You can now add the ingredient lists of cosmetics in a new section
If you list offers in the Beauty category, you can add the required information more easily.
Buyers should be able to access key information about products — including the ingredient list of cosmetics (INCI). This is required under the EU and national regulations (including GPSR).
How it was before
Until now, you could add the ingredient list of cosmetics (INCI) in the offer description or the safety section. Because of that, information was spread and buyers did not know where to look for it.
What we have changed
We have added a new section: Product composition. There, you can provide the ingredient list of a cosmetic product.
You can complete this section when listing an offer via:
- listing form
- Allegro API.
You can also add information about ingredients to active offers:
- Go to the Legal obligations tab.
- Click [complete composition in offers].
- In the My Assortment tab, you will see the list of your offers in the Beauty category.
- Complete the ingredient list of the products in the new section.
What if you do not provide the ingredient list of a cosmetic product
You will see a notification. It will appear in the section Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) of the Legal obligations tab.
What you gain with this change
- You can make sure your offers are compliant with the law.
- Buyers can find key information in your offer more quickly.
- You can reduce the risk of returns — buyers can choose safe cosmetics more easily.
We will keep developing this feature. For example, we are working on automatic suggestions of ingredients. We will let you know about further improvements.
