What a competitive price is

Competitive prices in your offers may give you access to additional benefits — the Allegro Prices program and ads for your offers that we will sponsor.

What makes a price competitive

If the price of a product in your offer is the same as or lower than in other online stores or e-commerce platforms — it means your price is competitive.

We compare product prices in offers on Allegro with prices of the same products in other online stores and on different platforms.

What you can gain with competitive prices

If the prices of your products are competitive compared to product prices on a selected platform or in an online store, you will get access to additional benefits:

  • the Allegro Prices program — in which we cover a part of the order price, so that the buyer can pay less while your profit stays the same
  • the ads for your offers that we sponsor — this means the ads displayed, for example, on Google, Ceneo, Facebook, and Instagram, for which we select offers and cover the entire ad price.

This way, we can provide additional support to sellers who help us create the best offers for buyers.

To qualify for our support, make sure that at least 80% of your products have competitive prices.

What stores and platforms we compare your offers with

We take into account the platforms and online stores that the Similar Web report considers the biggest and most important. Among others, this includes stores with which we compare offers on Allegro within the Best Price Guarantee program.

How to check if your prices are competitive

If the prices of over 20% of your products are not competitive now — we will provide you with a personalized report with details. You can find it in the Statistics on Allegro tab. Check the report to see with which stores we compare a given product from your offer and whether your price is competitive compared to these stores. This will make it easier to keep your prices on Allegro competitive and qualify for additional benefits. If you:

  • do not receive a report — it means your prices are currently competitive
  • receive a report — check what offers we have included in it and read the tips on how to improve the competitiveness of your prices and gain additional benefits.

How to make sure your prices are competitive

You can enable automatic pricing rules in your offers. This feature helps you compare your prices with the prices of the same product on the market on an ongoing basis and adjust them accordingly. Thanks to automatic pricing, the prices in your offers will dynamically change depending on price trends, according to your own rules and conditions. See how it works.

Yes. If the price in your offer on Allegro is the same or lower than in the offer we found online and indicated in your personalized report, you can still participate in programs on Allegro. We compare the prices of your products on Allegro to prices in offers from selected platforms and online stores. However, we do not check whether you use a specific sales channel.

No. Excluding offers from the Allegro Prices program and the ads we sponsor does not affect their relevance.

No. It only affects the ads for offers that we sponsor — displayed, among others, on Google, Ceneo, Facebook, and Instagram — and the Allegro Prices program. The exclusion does not affect campaigns such as Smart! Week, Allegro Days, Allegro Ads, and others.

No. The exclusion only affects the Allegro Prices program and the ads that we entirely sponsor. You can still participate in other advertising campaigns.

No, the changes apply only to allegro.pl. We only compare prices in PLN and in the Polish marketplace.

We consider an offer more expensive if the price difference equals:

  • 1% — for products priced up to 50.49 PLN
  • 0.5% of the product's value — for products priced between 50.50 PLN and 100.49 PLN
  • 0.25% of the product's value — for products priced over 100.50 PLN.

We check the price differences regularly — usually daily, or at least once a week.

We also check prices in the biggest online stores. Check the personalized report we have shared with you in the message to see whether your store is included in the comparison list.

We compare the prices available to all buyers. That is why we cannot check whether the price the customer sees is a result of participating in a program or if you have set it yourself. If your end prices on another platform are lower than the ones on Allegro, we can exclude you from the Allegro Prices program and the ads we sponsor.

No. We do not take into account additional discounts available only after signing in, such as coupons, loyalty promotions, or wholesale discounts. We only compare the prices that are available to all buyers.

We do not take auctions and auctions with the buy now options into account.

No, products participating in campaigns are excluded from the verification.

We consider the lowest price of a given product in all available offers listed using the same NIP (Tax Identification Number).

We sponsor ads that are displayed, among others, on Google, Ceneo, Facebook, and Instagram. We select the sellers' offers for them and cover the entire ad price. Upon clicking the ad, the buyer is redirected to your offer page on Allegro and can make a purchase there.

Yes. We try to get the best possible matches. That is why we take many different parameters into account when we compare products.

If you sell product sets, we check the price separately for each product in the set.

No. We want to make sure buyers can find the lowest possible prices on Allegro. In this context, we invest our own funds — we reduce prices in offers within the Allegro Prices program and sponsor display ads of the best offers in Google. At the same time, sellers are entirely free to set their own pricing policies. It is the seller who decides on the final prices of the products they offer.
