We added a new reason for sales ratings
As of today, buyers can select a new reason for the negative sales ratings: The received product was not new. Learn more.
When buyers rate their shopping experience with you, they can justify their decision and indicate what influenced their positive or negative rating. This is not mandatory for a positive rating. However, if buyers state that they do not recommend buying from you, they need to provide a reason.
You will find an up-to-date list of reasons that the buyers can select in this article.
What we have changed
Today we have added a new reason to the list: The received product was not new. If a customer selects such a reason for their rating:
- you will see it in the Ratings Received tab
- other buyers will see it on your Rating list — they can access it by clicking All ratings and reviews in the About Seller tab.
Why we have added this reason
Giving the buyers another reason to select allows us to analyze what influences negative ratings in more detail. Such data allows us to monitor buyers' satisfaction and eliminate prohibited practices such as selling used or repacked products as new ones.
What if you sell products with the Condition parameter other than New
If a client buys such a product from you and gives you a negative rating for this purchase with a reason: The received product was not new – contact us. We will be able to remove such rating from the Rating list and Received ratings tab and exclude it from your Sales Quality.
