Import & List: you can now list offers from a CSV file with custom formatting

How it worked before
To list offers from a CSV file in the Import & List tab, you needed to first prepare your file according to certain guidelines. The columns had to have proper names and correct values.
If your file did not follow our guidelines, our system could have read your data incorrectly. For example, a column named gross price could have been considered as a product parameter instead of information necessary to create an offer.
What we have changed
You can now list offers from a CSV file with custom formatting in the Import & List tab. That is why you do not have to correct the formatting in the file — we will still be able to read the data correctly. Instead, you can use column mapping.
When you upload a CSV file with custom formatting:
- you will see all the columns from your file on the left-hand side
- our system will show you how these columns match our structure on the right-hand side.
If your column name:
- is consistent with ours — the system will automatically suggest you the column match
- is not consistent with ours — you can manually configure how the columns should be matched.
What you gain with this change
With this change:
- the system will obtain all the information necessary to correctly list an offer — you do not need to adjust column names and values to our guidelines anymore
- you can correctly list offers from a file even more smoothly.
