With this option, you can select the marketplace — Poland (allegro.pl), Czechia (allegro.cz), Slovakia (allegro.sk) or Hungary (allegro.hu). With that, you can read articles about rules applicable to a foreign marketplace in your default language. If you want to browse articles in a different language, click here.
How to sell on Allegro Business in Czechia
On business.allegro.cz, we share offers from sellers who meet specific requirements. This allows you to expand your customer base and make even better use of the sales potential of other marketplaces.
The business.allegro.cz page is a place for Czech business customers to make purchases on behalf of their companies. Just like on allegro.pl, you can use the Czech version of Allegro Business to offer business buyers practical solutions — such as wholesale discounts, displayed VAT rates, and net prices.
If you add a wholesale discount to an offer qualified for sharing on business.allegro.cz, it will also be visible for business customers from Czechia. You cannot set a wholesale discount only for a selected marketplace.
Thanks to business.allegro.cz, your offers will be visible for more buyers. You do not bear any additional costs. All sales rules on business.allegro.cz are the same as on allegro.cz.
When we will display your offers in the Czech version of Allegro Business
We can display your offers on business.allegro.cz if you meet all the requirements below:
- you share offers on allegro.cz
- you issue VAT invoices — business customers on business.allegro.cz only see offers with the invoice option
- in the offer, you have set a VAT rate applicable in the country you dispatch the goods from
- you have an active EU VAT number.
This means that if you share your offers on allegro.cz and also meet the other requirements — we will display them to both regular buyers on allegro.cz and business customers on business.allegro.cz. If your offer no longer meets the requirements for sharing on allegro.cz and is withdrawn from that marketplace, we will stop displaying it on business.allegro.cz at the same time.
How to manage offers and use filters
Go to the My Assortment tab. When you select Czechia (allegro.cz) in the market filter — in the Offers tab, we will display basic information about your offers in the context of the Czech marketplace, such as the price in CZK.
In the Offers tab, you will also see the attribute that makes your offer stand out — for example, the Smart! badge. When we share your offers on business.allegro.cz, we will display the special Business badge in the attributes section.
In the My Assortment tab, you can also easily filter offers:
- with and without a wholesale price list pinned
- with the VAT rate filled in — see how to set VAT rates in offers in bulk.
Learn more about the My Assortment tab from our article.
How to check which offers qualified for sharing on business.allegro.cz
In the market filter, select Czechia (allegro.cz). You will then see the visibility on Allegro Business filter. This allows you to check quickly and easily which offers we display in the Czech version of Allegro Business. Currently, you can only use this filter to see the offers we share in the Czech marketplace. That is why the filter will not be active if you select Poland (allegro.pl).
How we display the price in the offer
You can use the Price Converter in your offers submitted for sharing on allegro.cz. It allows you to update prices in sales currencies in the My Assortment tab with just one click. See how it works. The price is the same for regular buyers on allegro.cz and business customers on business.allegro.cz. You cannot set different prices.
If you declare a VAT rate for Poland or Czechia, we will use it to automatically calculate the net value of the goods. We will display the net price in the offer to business customers within the Czech Allegro Business. The settlement between you and the customer is based on the gross price, not the net. However, VAT rates and net prices in offers make it easier for customers to make business purchases.
What the rules of selling to Czech business customers are
If you share offers on allegro.cz, Czech business customers will also be able to buy from you on business.allegro.cz — and get an invoice for their companies.
When a buyer with a business account makes a purchase on business.allegro.cz, we will automatically provide you with the buyer's EU VAT status (based on the information from publicly available registers) and invoice details.
This will help you determine how to settle the transaction with regard to tax. It will also minimize the risk of documenting such transactions incorrectly.
The buyer's EU VAT number is necessary for settling VAT for B2B transactions within the European Union. The status data verified for intra-Community transactions (VAT 0%) confirms that the buyer has the right to use the company details provided in their Allegro account settings, and that they are registered as an EU VAT taxpayer at the moment of our verification.
The taxpayer's VAT status can change over time. Before you issue an invoice, you might want to check their status yourself in the VIES database — the EU's information exchange system.
In the sales notification, we will provide you with the buyer's details that are necessary to issue an invoice, such as IČO and DIČ (Czech ID and VAT ID) numbers, and the EU VAT number.
Remember it is up to you to decide what VAT rate you will use in the invoice — especially whether the 0% VAT rate is applicable for a given transaction. Allegro is not responsible for the seller's invoicing process.
You will provide the buyer with the invoice through the Orders tab. Check how to do that.
If a customer without the verified EU VAT status makes a purchase in your offer, you can check the buyer in the VIES database yourself and decide whether the 0% VAT rate is applicable for that transaction.
