GPSR: from now on, you can complete information on the product's manufacturer and safety more easily
Within the Allegro Product Catalog, you now have access to a database with manufacturers' details and templates with product safety information. Learn more.
The GPSR is the EU's General Product Safety Regulation that took effect on December 13, 2024. According to it, you must provide the manufacturer's details and safety information for a product in your offers.
What we have changed
We have used data from the Allegro Product Catalog and updated suggestions related to data on the manufacturer and safety of the product.
You have access to:
- global producers database — includes details on the most popular brands on Allegro
- safety information templates — pre-made drafts that can help you add required information more easily
- an option to add details of the manufacturer and data related to product safety already in the listing form and through the Allegro API.
This update will make it easier for you to comply with the legal regulations.
How you can use that feature
- Global producers database
When you list or edit an offer, choose a product. Based on its brand, we will complete the offer with its manufacturer's details. If there are more brand suggestions — select one of them.
- Templates
When you list or edit an offer, you will see templates in the Safety information section — based on the product in that offer.
