What it means for you
Whether you choose to use our Standard right now is entirely up to you. However, we encourage you to adopt these solutions. The Standard is based on the EU regulation on the packaging and packaging waste (PPWR). The regulations suggest which materials should be used for preparing parcels in order to reduce the environmental impact. The PPWR will be implemented in phases — from August 2026 to 2030.
In the future, we plan to recognize and distinguish the sellers who implement the Standard. We will inform you about any changes in advance.
Where to find cheap packaging that meets the Allegro Packaging Standard
To make it easier for you to access suitable packaging, we are reopening the Allegro Pack store. There, you will find packaging compliant with the Standard at prices we have negotiated directly with manufacturers. We do not add a margin to these prices — we cover the storage and handling costs ourselves. This allows you to buy packaging cheaper while maintaining a professional look of your parcels. You can also find packaging that complies with our Standard in stores other than Allegro Pack.
