Allegro Smart! on allegro.pl — information for sellers with a regular account
In this article, you will learn how to get the Smart! badge in offers you list on a regular account.
What you will gain with Allegro Smart!
See what you can gain thanks to this service as a seller.
- You will make your offers stand out ― buyers will see the Smart! badge in your offers on the list of offers, product list, and at different stages of making a purchase.
- You will increase your chances of sales — our data shows that the Smart! badge increases the chances of sales by 4 times compared to offers without that badge.
- You will not pay for returns — Allegro Smart! means free returns not only for the buyer but also for you. We cover the costs of return parcels.
- Customers will find your offers quickly and conveniently — they only need to check Allegro Smart! in the Free delivery and return filter.
What requirements you need to meet to get the Smart! badge
We will mark your offers with the Smart! badge if you meet certain conditions concerning sales and offers. The conditions apply to sellers who dispatch orders from Poland.
They differ depending on the type of account you use. If you sell on a business account, see how to get the Smart! badge in your offers.
Sales requirements
You can get the Smart! badge if the sales quality level on your account is higher than Neutral or at least Neutral on all of your accounts. You can check your sales quality in the My Sales Quality tab.
Additionally, you:
- cannot have any outstanding payments in Settlements with Allegro
- must act in accordance with our Terms & Conditions
- must manage buyers' email addresses correctly and transfer their details to carriers in a proper way — learn more on that topic.
Conditions regarding offers
Your offer will get the Smart! badge if you:
- Enable Paczkomaty InPost in your offers. You can do it when listing an offer. The maximum shipping price you can set is 11.49 PLN.
- Set returns terms. Provide a return address only within Poland.
How to set returns terms if you do not have any offers yet
- Go to the Returns Terms tab and click [add returns terms].
- Complete all the fields.
Your returns terms will be available for each new offer.
How to set returns terms for already listed offers
- Go to the My Assortment tab.
- Select the offers to which you want to add returns terms.
- In the green field that we will display: select Sales policy — Other — Returns Terms.
- Choose the return terms you want to provide for the selected offers.
How you can settle Allegro Smart! parcels
We charge fees for Allegro Smart! parcels based on the value of the buyer's order. We take into account 5 thresholds of order value:
- order value between 30 and 44.99 PLN — the parcel fee is 1.59 PLN
- order value between 45 and 64.99 PLN — the parcel fee is 3.09 PLN
- order value between 65 and 99.99 PLN — the parcel fee is 4.99 PLN
- order value between 100 and 149.99 PLN — the parcel fee is 7.59 PLN
- order value is 150 or more — the parcel fee is 9.99 PLN.
Additional information
- You can settle all the delivery options available within Allegro Smart! in the Settlements with Allegro tab
- If your order consists of a few parcels, their delivery cost will depend on the purchase value:
- orders worth up to 149.99 PLN — for each parcel, you pay the same amount (according to the rates).
- orders worth 150 PLN or more — for each parcel, you pay a cost corresponding to the order value (according to the rates). For each subsequent parcel, we will charge the fee for orders between 100 and 149.99 PLN — 7.59 PLN.
- If the buyer selects payment on delivery, we will add 4.99 PLN to the cost corresponding to the order value (according to the rates) for the additional payment on delivery service. Apart from payment for the product, you will also get 4.99 PLN from the buyer for that option. That is why, the minimum amount in the shipping price list you can set for options paid for on delivery equals 4.99 PLN.
- You can process a free return only if the buyer requests it through the return form on their Allegro account.
You will settle delivery costs according to the rules described above on condition that:
- the buyer pays for the order through Allegro
- you provide the carrier with the correct email address
- you dispatch parcels for orders only with the paid payment status.
When you will be refunded for Smart! parcel fees
If your customer:
- returns the purchase as part of withdrawing from the agreement (they report the return through the return form on their Allegro account and dispatch it with a return option available in Allegro Smart!) or
- does not collect the parcel
we will automatically refund you the fee for delivery of the Smart! parcel. You do not have to apply to get a refund.
Only the basic fee will be refunded — not the fees for additional services. You can see it as a discount in the Settlements with Allegro tab.
We will refund you the fee once the status of the return parcel says that you have either collected it or refunded the order cost.
How to correctly dispach an Allegro Smart! parcel
Create an account in the InPost Parcel Manager.
go to the Orders from Buyers tab
- select the order you want to dispatch, and click [dispatch parcel]
- we will redirect you to the InPost Parcel Manager sign-in page. Sign in by clicking [Log in via Allegro].
- confirm your details and complete the missing information in the InPost tool. This way, you will link your Allegro and InPost Parcel Manager accounts.
to confirm the registration, click the activation link you will receive in your email inbox.
Link your sales on Allegro to the InPost Parcel Manager and generate the label.
go to the Import Allegro InPost tab in the InPost Parcel Manager
- link the account to your Allegro account from which you want to download an order for dispatch
- in the Allegro app, confirm the code from the InPost app and agree to link the accounts
- select an order for dispatch and click [przygotuj](prepare)
- click [pobierz](download) to print the generated label
- done! You can check the delivery status in the Orders from Buyers tab.
We generate a unique email address for each order. You can find it in the Orders from Buyers tab when you click [copy email]. Email addresses contain information on the buyer, seller, and order.
To dispatch the parcel, provide the carrier with the correct email address. Thanks to that, we can properly settle the parcel within Allegro Smart!
How to handle a return
If a buyer wants to withdraw from an agreement and return a purchase, they will report it via their Allegro account. In such a case, we will send you an email notification.
When you get the return parcel:
- Go to the Returns tab.
- Click [return decision] and [refund the selected amount].
- We will redirect you to the Refund form. Check the details and click [issue a refund] at the end of the form. The buyer will receive the refund.
How to resign from the Allegro Smart! badge in your offers
If you meet our conditions, we will automatically mark your offers with the Smart! badge. You cannot disable the Smart! badge with any button. If you do not want to have the Smart! badge in your offers — let us know. To do that, click [contact us] under this article.
You will also lose the Smart! badge in your offers if you do not meet at least one of the Allegro Smart! terms.
Can every offer be marked with the Smart! badge
The Smart! badge cannot be granted to:
- classifieds
offers listed in the following categories:
- Home and Garden — Equipment — Holiday and Occasional Decorations — Fireworks
- Kids — Feeding — Baby Foods — Baby Formulas — First milk
- Supermarket — Pet Supplies — Non-prescription veterinary drugs.
How Allegro Smart! works for buyers
Buyers benefit from free delivery and returns if:
- they have the Allegro Smart! membership active on their account
- they purchase products marked with the Smart! badge
- the delivery cost of a single order does not exceed 100 PLN
they purchase products from a single seller for a minimum of:
- 45 PLN — for deliveries to pick-up points and parcel lockers
- 65 PLN — for courier deliveries.
