How to set free delivery for purchases from a specific amount
Free delivery attracts more buyers. Information about free delivery from a certain price may appear on your offer pages and on the offer lists.
To do it:
- Open the Delivery Settings tab.
- Go to the Delivery costs for the buyer section and click [edit].
- In the Free delivery section, enter the total purchase amount from which you want to offer free delivery. You can set different amounts for domestic and international orders. In addition, you can also provide different amounts depending on the marketplace in which you sell. In the section called:
- Poland — allegro.pl — you can provide prices in PLN for the Polish marketplace
- Slovakia — allegro.sk — you can provide prices in EUR for the Slovak marketplace
- Czechia — allegro.cz — you can provide prices in CZK for the Czech marketplace.
- Click [save]. Done!
From now on, every customer who buys from you for this price or higher is eligible for free delivery.
Where buyers can find the information about free delivery
- On the offer page, in the Delivery and Payment section. The free delivery threshold which the buyer sees there depends on the country they choose in the Delivery field.
- At the top of the list of all your offers.
Free delivery for purchases from a specific amount in Allegro Smart!
If the customer buys for a price you set for free delivery — they will be able to benefit from it. You will not settle this delivery within Allegro Smart!, though — even if your offer is labeled as Smart!
Example
You set free delivery for purchases from 200 PLN. Your offer is labeled with the Smart! badge. The buyer places an order worth 250 PLN and does not pay for delivery — as determined in the offer. You will not settle for this order within Allegro Smart! because it is you who offers the buyer free delivery from a specific amount. If the buyer selects one of the Allegro Standard delivery options, you will settle it according to the price list.
Additional information
- If you set free delivery from a specific amount, it will not affect whether the buyer sees the free delivery label.
- You set free delivery from a specific price for all delivery options. Buyers who place an order for this price or higher can choose any delivery option from what you offer (including international shipping).
Free delivery ― why it is worth enabling it in your offers and how to do it
The free delivery option always attracts buyers. Offers with this option are featured on the offers list with a special label. Learn more.
We will mark a listed product on the offers list with the free delivery label if you cover the cost of at least one of the following delivery options:
- economy postal parcel
- priority postal parcel
- economy registered letter
- priority registered letter
- courier delivery
- parcel locker delivery
- pick-up point delivery (if you enable personal pick-up from the seller as the only free delivery option, we will not mark your offers with the free delivery label).
How to earn the free delivery label in your offers
In the listing form, enter 0 PLN in at least one of the delivery options listed above as the cost of the first unit and each subsequent unit in a parcel.
Free delivery and Allegro Smart!
If you set delivery with one of the payment-in-advance options that belong to Allegro Smart! options and meet the remaining requirements ― we will mark it with the Allegro Smart! badge.
If you enable both free delivery and Allegro Smart! delivery in your offer ― buyers will see both: the free delivery label and the Allegro Smart! badge.
Do I have to pay for featuring offers with the free delivery label?
No. The free delivery label is a free featuring method on the offers list.
What are the benefits of featuring offers with the label?
- Customers will likely use free delivery, so featuring it on the offers list may draw their attention. This way, you have a better chance of keeping your regular customers and getting new ones.
- If you enable free delivery and the buyer will choose this delivery option, they will not be able to give you less than 5 stars for delivery cost in the sales rating.
- While searching through categories, the buyers can filter the search results to browse only the offers with free delivery.
Additional information
Use the free delivery option as intended ― it cannot depend on anything (for example, the number of purchased goods).
The free delivery option is applicable only to shipping in Poland. If someone from abroad purchases your products, you do not need to ship them for free. You can charge the actual cost of shipping.
