You no longer need to provide the expert opinion when you reject the complaint on allegro.sk
Starting July 1, 2024, when you reject a complaint about the purchase on allegro.sk, you do not need to provide an expert opinion. Learn more.
How it worked before
To reject the complaint concerning the purchase on allegro.sk, you needed an expert opinion. Within 14 days of considering the complaint, you had to provide the buyer with a copy of the opinion along with a rationale for the complaint's rejection.
How it works now
In connection with the changes in the Slovak law — from July 1, 2024, you do not need to provide an expert opinion when you reject a complaint of the purchase on allegro.sk. You only need to inform the buyer about your decision.
What if the buyer disagrees with your decision
In that case, they can ask for the expert opinion on their own. If the opinion benefits the buyer — they can file a complaint again. Then you are obliged to remove the defect as soon as possible, and the buyer may require you to reimburse the cost of the expert evaluation.
If a buyer on allegro.sk opens a Discussion and selects the problem with the product as its reason — we will display the information on the regulations that apply in Slovakia and concern the complaint rejection.
