You can top up your Allegro Finance with payments in different currencies
From now on, you can select the currency in which you will top up your Allegro Finance to refund the buyer.
How it was before
Until now, you could top up your Allegro Finance in PLN or EUR (on allegro.pl) and CZK (on allegro.cz). For example, if you were selling on allegro.cz, you had to top up your Allegro Finance and refund the buyer in CZK. At making payment, we showed you the amount converted by the operator in the currency of a given marketplace.
How it is now
Now you can select the currency in which you will make the transfer, and we will show you the conversion details. Depending on the marketplace in which you sell and use the top-up, you can select among different payment methods. That way, you do not need to pay additional currency conversion costs or bank fees.
How you can top up your Allegro Finance depending on the marketplace
- on allegro.pl — in PLN (BLIK, online bank transfer, PayPal), in CZK (online bank transfer, PayPal), or in EUR (online bank transfer, PayPal)
- on allegro.cz — in CZK (online bank transfer) or in PLN (BLIK, online bank transfer)
- on allegro.sk — in EUR (online bank transfer) or in PLN (BLIK, online bank transfer)
How it works
- You sell on allegro.cz and you have a Polish bank account.
- You want to refund the Czech buyer but do not have enough money in your Allegro Finance.
- You use the top-up.
- Before you make a transfer, you select the currency in which you want to make it — PLN. We show you the conversion details: the amount you should refund the buyer (in CZK), the amount converted to PLN, and the current exchange rate.
- You click [pay] and refund the Czech buyer the appropriate amount.
