What the unit price is and how it works
You can find the price converted to a corresponding unit of measure in select categories.
In select categories, we display the price converted to an appropriate unit of measure (for example, liter, kilogram, or meter) on the offer list, product list, and product page. You can find it under the product price.
What the unit price is
Price per unit, or unit price, is the price of a single product or service, the quantity or number of which is expressed in units of measurement. The unit price is the final price that includes VAT and all other taxes.
According to article 4 of the act on the information about prices of goods and services (available in Polish), at a retail venue, the price per unit of goods (services) should be visible to the customer and allow them to easily compare prices.
How it works
- We display the unit price on the offer list, product list, and product page in select categories.
- We calculate the price per unit automatically in categories where parameters related to units of measurement and quantity of products are mandatory. You do not need to take any action!
- If you do not complete parameters related to the units of measurement and quantity of the product in categories where we do not require it — we will not display the unit price.
- We will only display the unit price in offers in the Buy now format.
- In select categories, you will see the following sorting option on offer lists: unit price: low to high
- In product sets that consist of several units of a single product, we calculate the unit price based on the number of units in the set. If you sell such sets, provide in your offer parameters — such as weight, capacity, or length — for one product unit. It will allow us to display the correct unit price in your offers.
- We do not display the unit price in product sets composed of different products.
What you can gain

You can also complete parameters related to units of measurement and quantity of product in categories where we do not require that. If you do that, customers will see the unit price in your offers, on the search list, and product page.

- it makes it easy to compare product prices
- it allows them to decide on the purchase faster.
