On August 29, we will start removing incorrect GTIN (EAN) codes from your offers
Soon we will remove incorrect GTIN (EAN) codes from active offers. Check what it may mean for you.
We regularly check whether the GTIN (EAN) codes in offers and the Allegro Product Catalog are correct. The only legitimate source of the GTIN (EAN) codes is the GS1 Organization database.
What we will change
On August 29, we will start removing the GTIN (EAN) codes that are not registered in the GS1 Organization database from active offers.
What it means for you
If the GTIN (EAN) code is a mandatory parameter in a given category, you will not edit or relist an offer until you add a correct value for that parameter.
What you can do
If the GTIN (EAN) parameter value in your offers is incorrect — you can start editing your offers today and provide the EAN (GTIN) code that is applicable for the product you sell and registered in the GS1 database.
You can complete the mandatory parameters in the Add Parameters tab.

Where you can get the correct GTIN (EAN) code
Contact the distributor or manufacturer of the product you sell. And if you are a manufacturer and sell products under your own brand — you can receive the EAN (GTIN) code from the GS1 Organization.
