How to create a Home page ad in Allegro Ads
Advertising on the home page is a type of display ad. Thanks to it, you will reach more buyers from their first seconds on Allegro.
A Home page ad is a type of Display ad which consists of an image that presents a brand or an offer category. This will help you reach more buyers from your first days on Allegro.
- Sign in to your account in the Allegro Ads dashboard.
- Select [stwórz kampanię] (create campaign). Select Reklama graficzna (Display ad) and click [skonfiguruj kampanię] (set up a campaign).
- Name the campaign and the ad group (these names are visible only to you).
- Add your brands or select the one for which you want to create the campaign.
- Click [dodaj reklamę] (add an ad).
- Select Reklama na stronie głównej (Home page ad).
- Complete all the fields:
- nazwa reklamy (the ad name) ― only you will see this name
- the text below the banner ― a slogan encouraging buyers to click on your ad (up to 21 characters)
- gdzie ma kierować reklama (where the ad redirects to) ― provide the link to your Allegro offers
- banery reklamowe (ad banners) ― add two banners you have created in the following sizes: 960 x 252 px (for a PC) and 600 x 200 px (for RWD and the app). While creating an ad, you will find the guidelines regarding graphic creations there.
- kategorie związane z reklamą (categories related with the ad) ― select up to 15 categories, so we can adjust the ad display. We will display the ad to buyers who have browsed through offers in those categories.
After you have added the 960 x 252 px banner, you will see a so-called exclusion zone. It consists of the lines that show you how the graphic creation will be displayed on the Allegro homepage. Anything outside those lines may be not displayed.
If crucial information or buttons are outside the lines, upload a different graphic creation. Moderators will not accept incorrect ads.
- Determine up your daily budget, the CPM rate, and dates of display. Optionally, you can state your total budget.
- Click [stwórz kampanię] (create a campaign) to send it to us for verification. Done! We will verify it and display it on Allegro if it complies with the display rules. Next to the campaign, you will see the Displaying status. If we reject the ad, we will ask you to edit the ad and implement changes specified in the explanation. Implement changes and submit the ad for verification once again.
You can also place a dynamic template ad on the home page. All you need to do when you create it is select Showcase na stronie głównej Allegro (Showcase on the Allegro home page) as display location.
