How to convert a regular account into a business account
If you plan to sell on Allegro as an entrepreneur, change your account status to a business one. That will help you manage your sales freely and handle buyers' orders better.
You already hold a regular account but consider launching professional sales? Open another account — a business one! That way, you can conveniently do private shopping on your regular account, and engage in business activities on the business account. This is the solution many sellers on Allegro opt for. How to convert a regular account into a business account
- Open the Account details tab.
- In the Account details section, click Change to Business Account.
- Check whether the details, such as contact number or first and last names are valid. Create your own login if your account name comes in the Client:123456789 format.
If you only want to make business purchases
If in the last 24 months, there were no sales on your regular account, you will convert your regular account into the business one specifically for purchases on Allegro Business. You only need to provide your NIP (Tax Identification Number) and complete the business activity details. Check how it works. At any time, you can also activate sales on the business account you use for purchases.
Confirm your bank account with a quick online payment or standard transfer.
Send the documents of your company. Prepare the files in the JPG, PNG, TIF, or PDF formats — with sizes between 1 MB and 10 MB.
Click [send all documents]. That is all! We will inform you by email once we convert your account into a business one.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. You can finish converting the account later — for example, if you want to prepare the images of company documents. You just need to sign in to your account. The information about the conversion stage you are at and the next steps you need to follow will be displayed at the top of the My Allegro page.
Your offers will still be available to buyers. After converting your account into a business one, we will display information on the offer page that you sell as an entrepreneur. Specify the returns and complaints terms if you want to sell on a business account. You will add them when listing or editing an offer.
