How to change or reset my password
It depends on whether you have access to your account or not. Remember that in order to better protect your account, you should change your password from time to time.
If you can access your account
- Open the Sign-in and Password tab.
- Click [change password].
- Enter your current password.
- Create a new password and enter it again to confirm.
- Click [change].
Done!
If you created your Allegro account with your Google or Facebook account, you can create a new password to your Allegro account in the Sign-in and Password tab. Then, you will also be able to sign in to Allegro using your email and password.
If you cannot access your account
If you do not remember your password, you can recover it on the sign-in page in one or two ways (depending on the device you use):
- if you are using a known device or a trusted mail domain, you can recover your password through email or SMS.
- if you are not using a known device or a trusted email domain, you can recover your password through SMS.
Password recovery through email
- Click Recover the password on the sign-in page.
- Enter your login or email linked to your Allegro account, and click [next].
- Select setting a password through email, and click [next].
- Go to your inbox and open the email we have sent you.
- Click the link you have received in the email. Next, enter a new password and click [save and sign in].
Secure sign-in
While signing in, you can activate Secure sign-in. From then on, each time you sign in, we will ask you to enter a code. You receive it via SMS or you can generate it yourself. Learn more.
Password recovery through SMS
- Click Recover the password on the sign-in page.
- Enter your login or email linked to your Allegro account, and click [next].
- Select setting a password with a phone number, and click [next].
If the digits you can see do not match your phone number, let us know by clicking [contact us] at the bottom of this article.
- Enter a code you will receive to your phone. We will automatically redirect you to a page where you will be able to submit a new password.
- Set a new password and click [save and sign in].
Signing in with a one-time SMS code
If you browse Allegro on your computer, we will display the One-time SMS code option after three failed attempts to sign in. You can use it if:
- you have not activated the two-factor authentication option
- the phone number in your account settings is valid.
How to use a one-time SMS code
- Go to the sign-in page and click One-time SMS code.
- Enter your login or email linked to your Allegro account, and click [next].
- Enter the code you will receive to the phone number you provided and click [sign in].
If you can access your account
- Open the Sign-in and Password tab.
- Click [change password].
- Enter your current password.
- Create a new password and enter it again to confirm.
- Click [change].

A known device and a trusted email domain A known device is a device from which you have signed in to your account in the last 30 days. A trusted email domain is a Gmail domain. If an email assigned to your account is registered on the gmail domain, you can recover your password through email.

We automatically complete the SMS code If you are using the Allegro app on Android 6.60 or newer, we will automatically complete the SMS code.
