From today, buyers have to indicate the reason for removing a rating
From today, customers can only remove ratings if they indicate a reason for their decision. Learn more.
When a buyer leaves you a rating, they have 90 days to edit or remove it. Before, buyers did not have to provide a reason for removing ratings. They could add a note with an explanation — however, it was not obligatory.
What we have changed
From today, customers can only remove ratings if they indicate a reason for their decision. They can select one of the reasons from the following list:
- a rating added by mistake
- the seller resolved the problem
- changed mind
- seller granted compensation
- I do not wish to say
- other reason.
What it means for you
If the buyer selects seller granted compensation as the reason, we will display the information about removing the rating on your Rating list.
We will not display other reasons — neither to you nor other buyers.
Why we have introduced that change
We have introduced that change to adapt the tab to the requirements of the Head of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
