Floods in Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia and sales on Allegro ― see the details
We have been observing a difficult hydrological situation for a few days. We are aware that it has affected many residents of Poland, Czechia, and Slovakia. Entrepreneurs who sell on Allegro are among them.
We are working on solutions to make the negative effects of the flood in terms of selling on Allegro less of a burden.
What we have done
We let the buyers know that their orders may be delayed. In multiple places on Allegro, we display information to buyers that due to the floods, their parcels may not arrive according to the estimated delivery time.
What we are doing
- We exclude orders from the sales quality If due to the floods, you did not manage to ship your orders on time ― contact us. We will exclude those orders and they will not negatively affect your statistics. We will do the same in case of the Discussions and comments concerning the delay in dispatch that will appear on your account.
- We are working on solutions that will allow us to automatically exclude from the sales quality those orders that are sent from the areas affected by the flood.
What you can do
If you know that you will not be able to dispatch parcels according to the declared dispatch time, you can take advantage of the following options.
- If you have a business account ― use the Sales break option. With that, you will suspend all active offers.
- If you have a regular account ― terminate all your ongoing offers, and relist them when you can start selling again. Check[ https://help.allegro.com/sell/en/a/how-to-change-details-in-multiple-offers-at-once-0A5rdv4dmTg).
Until you disable the Sales brake or relist your offers, your sales will not be active. Thanks to that, no new orders will appear or negatively impact your sales quality if you do not fulfill them.
You can also leave your offers active and set a later declared dispatch time. You can do it in the My Assortment tab, by editing offers in bulk ― both on a business and regular account.
Follow the carriers’ websites to be up-to-date with how they are currently operating, for example, DHL or DPD.
