We have updated the sales rules for plant protection products
We have added plant protection products and biocidal products for fumigation to the list of prohibited goods. We have also updated the rules for listing professional plant protection products. See today's change.
Starting today, you cannot list plant protection products and biocidal products for fumigation. We have removed the offers with those products. This sales ban results from the amendment of the Polish Act on plant protection products.
You can still list professional plant protection products — see what the new rules are.
List your offer in the appropriate subcategory and add the required information
You can only list the professional plant protection products in a newly created subcategory: Professional plant protection products (325048). We will move offers with such products from other subcategories to that one.
Add the following to the offer description:
- your entry number in the register of licensed businesses
- a copy of the registration certificate for this register
- information that these products can only be purchased by adults who meet the conditions specified in sub-paragraph 28 of the Polish Act of March 8, 2013, on plant protection products.
Verify whether the buyer is eligible to buy this kind of products
The buyer must provide proof of their eligibility to purchase professional plant protection products — ideally in a message in the delivery and payment form. If the buyer fails to do that, you cannot process the order. The buyer should provide:
- name and surname — the purchase can only be made from an account held by an eligible person
- the certificate number for the completion of training in the use of plant protection products (or another document confirming eligibility)
- name of the entity responsible for the training
- training validity period.
Provide a courier delivery option
You can only send professional plant protection products with a courier. Make sure that your offers are linked to shipping price lists that only contain courier delivery.
You cannot send professional plant protection products to pick-up points or parcel lockers.
If you sell products that cannot be placed in a parcel locker or delivered to a pick-up point — your offers can also be Smart! It is possible if you offer at least 2 delivery options to the buyer's doorstep from the list of delivery options that qualify for Smart!
